Gordon, after watching Josh Nass (KI6NAZ) on Ham Radio Crash Course, Blow the Final in his SBitX. So my question is can better actual RF Devices be used without a hassle of additional circuitry to make it work. You are right on so many areas, but the RF is not Ashha Strong point. the SBitX is an amazing device, that still requires some refinement to smooth out the rough edges, and at an amazing price. Regarding serial control, did you leverage the UART available on the Pi's 40 pin header for external software control?
