People forget that the reason why Luda is so well spoken is that he was a radio disc jockey before a rapper so speaking clearly is a natural prerequisite and a essential skill in communication
Luda looks exactly the same, congratulations on his success
MY NIGGS LUDACRIS DESERVES HIS FLOWERS ESPECIALLY WHILE HE STILL HERE.VERY UNDERRATED TALENTED ARTIST
Luda was and is an elite MC !! I always enjoyed his first 4 albums. So many bangers and features. Salute to Luda
Like ppl don’t understand those albums were tough
his verse on Nas Made U look remix let people know Luda got barz
Sex is mentioned a lot in hip hop but Luda is one if the only rappers that rapped about pleasing women. Salute 🫡
Luda is my favorite rapper of all time. It’s crazy how younger people know him more for his movies
Gotta give Luda his 🌹 while he’s here. Great interview
I’m still mad Ludacris and Tyrese was in space in a fucking Pontiac Fiero! 😩🤣🤣
As Ludacris said, Matt and Jack ask the best questions. Never the same from one guest to the next.
Luda music is such a vibe
Word of Mouf is still my shit til this very dayy!! Bangers all over, lyrics up and off the walls! Luda For Sure one of the GOATS 🐐🙌🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽
Luda always been Dope! He looks and dresses exactly how he did when he 1st came out.
He is himself always
Luda first four albums were legendary u can put those albums up against anybody’s. Luda is also a pioneer in the Atlanta music . He was kinda the first mainstream commercial solo act reppin Atlanta.
I’d say his first 6 albums…
He even won a Grammy on his 5th, Release Therapy. For best rap album
Yep everything before battle of the sexes
@@yusufabdullah5008 Release Therapy was when I felt like he started to fall off. That shit won a Grammy!?
@Rome Know go back and listen to it.. that album is 🔥
@@JerNo415 Yep.. He beat T.I, Jay-z, etc for it.
That’s actually his most underrated album to me
Kids now a days will never know what it was like having to try so hard to hear your favorite song on mtv or Vh1 or tryna get someone to burn you a CD . Music back then was so much more appreciated, and when you hear them songs now, you'll always remember exactly where you were.
I enjoyed all of Ludacris' albums. Like, be honest. I called him the King of the South and one of the best Lyrical geniuses in the game today some of the best punch lines ever funny ass skits videos were must see glad he got his star 🌟 on the walk of fame
Word of Mouf is my favorite Luda album but the first albums is legendary.
When we we they talk about Atlanta hip hop scene ludacris gotta be mentioned way more ! 💯
That chicken and beer was his peak that whole album was phenomenal so was word of moth and this dude is the goat of features
Busta & Jay will have something to say about that "features" comment 😂
@@majestic8831 Busta? Stop it.
Think you misspelled Lil Wayne
@@Hawkeyes319 You obviously don't know much about Busta. CZcams will help. Start from Scenario...
*Dwayne Carter entered the chat*
He just league of legends who speak to facts about the music industry and movie
"Cause 3 of ya top 5 too scared to fuck with me! So how can I improve if you don't give me no opponents?!" Luda will always be in my personal top 5. The man was never fucked with/beefed with and we all know why
Please bring him back 🙏🏿 this episode was NOTTT long enough 😩😩
One of my favorite artists 🔥🔥🔥🔥 used to bump Luda before football games in high school
Ludacris Release Therapy is his best body of work. That album is so special, with so much success he was still overlooked. With Release Therapy he had something to prove as a underdog and he did just that.
To date, this one and the Will Smith episode are my two favorite episodes of all the smoke, maybe a four way tie with the Iverson and Shannon Sharpe episode. Ludacris is so iconic, one of the greatest rappers of ALL time, I was hooked once i heard What's Your Fantasy. This is also one of hip hops most unique and eclectic personalities, he is so fun and animated. He was funny in Crash, too. I still listen to Word Of Mouf to this day.
Jamie Foxx though
Waiting on the biopic for Ludacris
Dawg been my favorite rapper 4 da longest 🔥🔥🔥
Luda especially on features throughout his whole rap career takes the show easily most of the time even with other heavy hitters he did his homework studying and put his own twist you can’t replicate in the game 💪💎
Back for the first time....I member buying the album in sophomore year in high school before basketball practice and walking 2 practice with my diskman like this guy is nuts. Been a fan eversince thanks luda...for good times
Southern hospitality, Fantasy, Ho, Stick Em Up featuring UGK…. album was incredible
I can remember driving the bus to a bball game and playing “Saturday” on repeat, that was 20 years ago
@@RichSimpson81 Word of Mouf.. Incredible album
@@yusufabdullah5008 underrated classic i would say up there with Philadelphia freeway and ghetto fabolous
Luda! Congratulations on your Hollywood Walk of Fame 🌠🌠😊
Ludacris 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Luda I'm 36 now. I've been listening to your music since I was a freshman. Love your music still and always. Love your still putting out positive energy. Most importantly I love you grew your hair back. One love bro. Keep up the good energy.
Luda my favorite rapper still to this day even tho he's in the movie industry, homie so underrated. I literally bought ALL of his albums
This was A refreshing interview! Happy to see Luda get his Flowers He been A top tier Mc.
One of the better fighters oN Def jam too! Legend in multiple avenues!
Ludacris is a legend in every sense of the word!
Luda one ☝️ of all times greats I brought chicken and beer the CD 💿 in 7th grade stay great even y’all Mr. Barnes and Jackson much respect ✊🏿
Still Standing he did with his cousin Monica is one of my favorites of collabs he’s done
So glad they got to interview Ludacris!! He’s a great person and I love his character as Tej Parker in Fast and Furious!!
Yes. Thanks John Singleton Rip
damn luda is inspiring man keep bringing these icons on the show!
37:36 the alleged story is that he didn’t like Southern Hospitality before it came out, he was surprised by its success
I mad young watching fast and furious 2 kinda my first introduction to Luda on the movie side wild how times files man I’m 21 now keep going Luda !!
Word of Mouf for sure is my favourite album! 🎉 it was the sound track of my childhood haha
I had THEE BIGGEST crush on Luda as a kid and these cornrows is bringing back all the feels🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Matt & Steve higher than a kite spitting fire questions.
One Of My Favorite Rappers Alive!!!
Ludacris one of the best rappers along with Jay Z Lil Wayne Eminem Kanye West Jadakiss Nas Fabolous Big Sean and Pusha T 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
That's facts
Luda is long overdue for his own podcast. It’s about that time
He too busy
Luda is musical outer space... I'm not sure what's he's talking about in a few topics but I'm sure it's deep as hell 🥴🤣...
Number One Spot was my favorite song when I was like 10 😂 a lot of bangers but that’s still my shit
The baby blue 12's clean though.👟🔥🔥🔥
Ludacris Is WithOut A Doubt A Hip Hop Legend So It Is Only RIGHT That He Gives A Legendary InterView!!!!!! Much Continued Success To A Real OG! #NumberOneSPOT
Such a Dope interview❤. Luda so dope🔥🔥🔥
Another great interview! Man you guys be killing it!!!
Definitely 1 of my favorite episodes & people besides (Klay Thompson 😊) lol! Thank you Matt & Stak for finally getting Luda❤ love him🥰
Matt barnes is media trained. Luda said “y’all was at freaknik, y’all know how it was”
Matt barnes immediately said no I wasn’t.
Stax gotta work on that lmao
Luda, one of the best to ever do it..Busting through the door with that growl..🎶🎶👌🏾👍🏾💯💯🙏🏾
What a FN interview!! Nicely done gentlemen! Luda is the man.. just watched a movie the RIDE - was great!! Keep doing what you're doing!
Shout out to Chris Lova Lova, still doing his thing. Great interview
Luda looks like he could've shot the Southern Hospitality video yesterday! Bruh looking great for 45 ✊🏾
Anyone catch the subtle “bring that back” after he talked about not being on the wall with the dead legends at the end? 😂 I don’t even think he meant it like that but it hit my ears like Act a Fool
When someone told his younger self to come stare in a movie that will turn into a franchise & generate more money than 99% of any rapper's career, he couldve laughed & told him he crazy but instead, he got out of his comfort zone & took the chance.
The culture’s in good hands.. 👏🏾
The crazy part about Ja Rule supposed to being in 2 fast 2 furious is that he’s in the first one for those who remember.
My all time favorite rapper!
Y'all needed to bring in The Rock, James Worthy, Jerry Rice, T.O, Dr.J, Big O, Lavar Ball and George Gervin are some people I wanted to see on the show
Yup. & Hakeem
And Jordan
Word of Mouf!!!! Classic!
i been a Luda fan ever since i 1st heard him on the Intro to Madden 2000.. 💪🏾 🔥🔥 fire discussion‼️
Love Luda. Great interview guys.
Dang this interview was short. Loved this one
Red light District was hard 💯
Is it just my perception or does anyone else agree that Ludacris appears that he has not aged in 20 years? He looks the same from 2003 lol.
The legend luda
I paid 25$ to see a concert of his at 1st Ave in Minneapolis about.....10 years ago, he did every single
LUUUUUDDAA
He brought up 559. Only ol skool ATL ppl know. That was the spot back in the day. His Chicken and Beer spot is dope. I got wasted there before my flight 😂
Southern Fried Intro on Chicken n Beer will always slap.
Word of Mouf was one of my first two CDs i ever got x Christmas 01...
He's not lying when he said Vin is all about FF. He's always in character when he's on video. He is always wearing the muscle shirt no matter what the event. I feel we never seen the real Vin Diesel. If Vin ever made it to this show, I'll be the first one to click play.
Love this show y’all stay get’n fire guests 🔥
Dope interview
Calling ya bluff number1 spot stand up that luda!!!
This was a great episode
Luda shyt goes so hard that when he make an appearance at Summerfest his stage be packed asf! I remember when he came back in 2017 I went to go see him u couldn’t get nowhere near the stage u had to watch him from the concession stands that’s shyt was 🔥 Not too many artists who were Ampitheater acts years earlier can say they came back to summerfest after their prime music years were over and still drew a big crowd as if it was their prime. Nelly came in 2016 and he came close.
I Love THE REDLIGHT DISTRICT ALBUM SO FIRE (WORD OF MOUF MIGHT BE HIS BIGGEST WORK THOUGH)
Ludacris always been one of those ones to bring it on a feature.
Luda saying southern hospitality wasnt on his radar for a hit is like
Waka thinking no hands wasnt going to be a hit
😂😂😂silly rabbits
We needed to hear from the legend thank you! Can yall ask the people who smoke what's there favorite strain
Some of his songs stood out to me back n them days
I believe his star on the Hollywood walk of fame was by way of motion picture but I don't believe he deserves a star for motion picture. I believe he deserves one maybe for music or maybe if you could combine the music with his acting. Because he wasn't or isn't a major actor. He was one of the top rappers of the 00's though.
Luda is like the perfect Hip hop character. Still in my top 5 DOA. LUDA....
Crazy that Luda looks exactly how he looked 20 years ago.
This is top 3 interview !
This is a Great one congratulations Brother and Thank you for the Legacy memories.
Dope ass interview. Good listen. Had to watch this one. Couldn't podcast it.
I would've loved to see Danny Trejo make an appearance in the fast series. Would've been a great fit
Saw Luda in concert (with Janet) earlier this month. Amazing!! He made my night
Back For The First Time A Solid/Good Debut Album From A Great Artist🎨 Ludacris #Great #Interview
Great interview!
This was a great episode. Move B**** is still one of my all time favorites.
About damn time,y’all back miss the show ,da podcast all wrapped in one..side note Ludicrous is from Chicago
