Yep I love the smell of lavender, Not only does it help me calm down from my anxiety but I just love the smell.

I'm a massive introvert, but my favorite scent is vanilla. I hate parties, and i am definitely not the life of them or center of attention lol. Also love lavender, although that's a more recent development since my anxiety ratcheted up 😅 the lavender points ring more true to me though 👍

It's SUCH a coincidence that you posted this today RIGHT as I decided to get into perfumes and do my research on the scents and what could fit me 😄

Petrichor is my favorite. The smell of outside following rain
I like lavender and honeysuckle, it’s just kind of nice but not overpowering. But my favorite is the scent of the earth after a spring rain, or rain in general. It’s just so cooling.
I think there’s a word similar to that:
petrichor

I like citrus scents, with a hint of floral. My fragrances are always on the fruity, floral side. They're feminine, but not overpowering.
Citrus, lavender, honeysuckle, and vanilla describe my personality.
Please make it a series. I like citrus, and I’m also a fan of the ginger scent. One day I saw ginger body cream and was curious. The first time I smelled it and put it on my hand, it boosted my mood. I felt captivated yet satisfied.

I'm a very big introvert, but my favourite smell is vanilla. Maybe it's because I love to bake and I sometimes add vanilla scent to my bakings. I'm guessing the smell just stuck to me with those warm and happy memories of baking something tasty. (◍•ᴗ•◍)
My whole personality is a mix of Fruit Scented and Honeysuckles, but i actually prefer lavender and vanilla. Though it seems kinda fun to know about this.
I find it hard to believe people whos favourite smell is vanilla tend to be outgoing life of the party. From my experience those people tend to call vanilla boring lmao. Its also my favorite smell and the complete opposite of me haha

my favorite scents are petrichor, and cinnamon/pumpkin spice. what does this say about me? I think my favorite scent out of all the scents in this video is roses, and i find that analysis generally accurate, but curious to know what these other scents mean as well?
Good question.! I love the smell of cinnamon, freshly rained morning and... Okay I know this is weird car fumes.

I'm not trying to be negative, but like star signs, I don't really think there is any correlation between favourite scents and personality types.
@SaltyScoundrel . Your favorite thing isn't like star signs something randomly chose from the time you were born. It actually has a lot to do with your neurobiology. your Brian chemistry told you that you like this scent. Maybe by studying your favorite things and why you like them so much we can actually discover something about are chemistry. If you do a research project on something and come back with the same results over and over and over again it becomes fact not fiction.
My top 3:
1. Cinnamom (specifically Vietnamese cassia)
2. Satsuma orange rind
3. Honey

As a person born with no sense of smell I never actually knew that having ability to smell things is this big of a thing really. My dad always told me it's like taste but lighter but I didn't know it can tell who you might be as a person.
I can relate to this I can only smell EXTREMELY strong smells like chicken stripes

That’s weird! I absolutely love creamy buttery sweet vanilla scent! But I’m extremely introvert and socially anxious! I have a huge lack of energy! I also see a lot of comments saying they love Vanilla scent but are the absolute opposite of this description just like me! I’m curious about what it means!
Love rosy and fruity smells equally and I am a mixture of both descriptions. Although I've gotten a lot less pessimistic over the years
I love Citrus and Vanilla scents, that feeling of taking a fresh shower in the morning, putting on a refreshing scent and now you are ready to go win the day.
I love odd smells like gasoline, dandelions or new leather. I also love a few normal smells like jasmine or citrus blossoms. And while I don't hate most of the smells mentioned in this video, none of them would even be in the top 10 of my favorite smells.
My overall favorite smell is eucalyptus. I just love it!

I actually love lavender and rose scents. Mainly flowery scents in general. And I think those two definitely rang true to me personally. My friends and I are rather close, and we actually had a discussion about “if I were a scent what would I be?”. And I got a lot of like leather store smell or spring meadow smells. Idk I just think it’s a fun thing to talk about with friends.
LOL I love everything vanilla. Scents, fabric softener, air freshener, food....literally everything and I am a total introvert. Never outgoing. Never go to parties. Love time alone with a good book, an old movie and there you have it. So not extroverted 🤔

Lavender all the way. I even bathe in it. I love the relaxation and stress relief.

I like vanilla, but lavender is my favorite. Not an extrovert but I’m definitely a good friend, kind, loyal and I do care about people, sometimes even too much I think 😕 I like some fruity scents as well - my shampoo is peach scented and that smells great in my opinion😍
Uuh this so interesting! I didn't know there was a higher meaning behind our smell preferences. And I feel like I have "phases" where I switch between vanilla & strawberry - mayybe depending on whether I'm in a more extroverted or rather introverted phase .. I'm definitely gonna pay attention to that now ☺

i haven't really gotten to know that many scents, but i love vanilla!! although i usually hate the way it tastes, somehow! i'm definitely not extroverted though, i'm more introverted and in my own little world, i also think and reflect a lot, so the others were more accurate for me! ^^

My favourite scent is Lavender. And as someone who has low self esteem, it made me really happy.

same! My favorite is vanilla (lavender being second, I love the scent of lavender a lot) but I am introverted and don't usually like parties. I am an INTP lol, and the personality described for rose lovers in the video fits me the best! I like the scent of roses but not as much as vanilla and lavender, so the video for sure doesn't really describe me

hands down my fav scent is key-lime pie. I guess it's sort of citrus, but just got a more playful smell to it!
I like citrus, but I am not an extrovert at all. I am never the leader in anything and would rather have someone else tell me what to do. If someone chooses me to be leader, it's only a friend trying to mess with me because they know I don't like being in the spotlight.
Overall, my favorite scent is the smell of books. The smell of a library, or a new book from the store.

I've actually made my own fragrance recently, I decided on ceder for the base note, and peppermint and sweet orange for the middle and top notes. But fresh peppermint is my favorite smell.

Lavender because it’s such a calming and relaxing smell that helps due to my anxiety and I think of relaxing baths that has a slight spicy fragrance.
Sweet Williams because I love the masculine scent they put out with a sweet floral scent mixed in, a very sweet and spicy fragrance like dragon’s blood! Mmmm! 🤤🫠

My favorite smell is either the Bath & Body Works fairytale perfume or hardware stores/new books. I LOVE getting a new textbook in class. You smell it fresh right after newly owning out of the packaging, almost fresh enough to eat (but please don't). Hardware stores pretty much smell similar to that because of all the wooden stuff around.

Cinnamon is my favorite scent... but, on that list, vanilla is a close second.... downside: i am so NOT an extravert, and any time i have to be at a party, or anywhere with a lot of people, i am the person standing in a corner facing the crowd with my back to a wall so no one will show up that i don't see coming. i usually just avoid the situation all together because i am not a people person if i'm not being paid (as in, not at work or a work function).
