Those guys running the concrete trucks don't get enough praise
Man they are good !!
Thank you!
Concrete work looks so easy, but we all know that is not the case. It is the knowledge and experience of the crew that makes it look so easy!
Yup well said
Them drivers make it way easier.. a good operator makes a laborers job easy
Those were good drivers, makes a huge difference for sure.
Thank you!
Great job Maggie is just a sweetheart you need more of Her and be nice to Maggie.
@26:10, all I can here in my head is a TikTok with the sound "Come with me, and you'll see, a world of OSHA Violation"
Now I understand. You are allowed a new concrete hard standing so long as Mrs DP gets a new yellow jeep. Great videos to the three of you. Mr DP, Mrs DP and MBTS.
I get ate up with hate comments when I pour concrete on our channel. Good work Dirt Perfect.
Thanks
Happy Birthday “that a boy”😂
That power screeder is just neater than a skeeter’s tweeter!
So Nice to have concrete instead of dirt right in front of your shop . now the shop won't be so dirty . Nice watching people pour your concrete and you get to watch and video . Great video . HAPPY BIRTHDAY Mike .
Nice touch hauling the finisher around in the bucket. Beautiful job !!
Please grab an extra bag of concrete and put a side box with the kids hand prints in it. Maggie can't have all the fun. Happy B-Day DP!!!
An experienced truck driver can make life easier for you.
8:38 = looks like a great place for drainage trough. one of the type covered by grates.
Also. Thank you and the finishing crew for sharing there efforts. It is always fascinating to watch what and how they get it done.
Looks like a great leader they have.
Rule of thumb, always make those who work for you feel good and confident.
It make them work better and your life much easier.
They did a real good job too :)
5:03 "We might be in trouble. One of those customers." 🤣
😁
Working for knowledgeable clients in the trades will definitely keep you on your toes !
He said I pay based on quality and the guy started pulling out bills 😂
When friends got together to help each other we always had a cook and enjoyed a meal afterwards with good conversations. It was always awesome and I remember each time
Pouring concrete is pretty easy.............If you are just holding a camera. Matt's crew did a very good job. That happens when you know what you are doing and have the right tools.
Those guys did a good job
As you said Mike, that pad is going to keep a ton of dirt out of the shop and house. Looks great, kudos to those guys for a job well done.
The only thing missing is when we got together to do something like this, we always cooked a chicken stew or something for us to enjoy
Hey DP, I enjoy watching all the videos of yours that keep popping up before I found your channel a couple of years ago.
The shop floor where I work has a trail of racoon paw prints over a span of about 25 feet in one corner area. Some are faint, but others are very distinct. Slab was poured in 1988 and we figure it was a cool, late evening pour when that section was placed, and the crete crew left as soon as they slicked it off. After sundown the local racoons visited the jobsite to scrounge for whatever, and at least one of them walked diagonally across the slab leaving the evidence of that moment in time forever recorded in the wet concrete.
Happy birthday to Mr. D.P. And many more years to come, may God be with you and family.
Always nice to watch the real pros at work!
I worked for over a decade in commercial concrete. from laborer to superintendent... Still love seeing the mud hit the ground!!!!!
Theres alot more to putting down concrete than people realize. You have to have a crew that knows what their doing. Like the guy walking along with the screed slightly removing a little of it off the top and adding it. He know s what he is doing for sure
It's a sight for sore eyes to see professional concrete work a very good job
Looks great there’s definitely a lot involved in concrete more than you would think for a slab in the driveway
back in the 70's when I was a wall foreman we would give a redi-mix driver a $20 and he would grab a case of beer and a bag of ice on his second trip. We would all sit and drink it while we were finishing things up and cleaning our chutes and tools. Times have really changed since then and that's a good thing!
Happy birthday DP love the channel. Congratulations on the big 40
Thanks buddy
30:46 I was thinking to myself, ahh your one of them kind of customers!
Happy birthday hope you’re having the best day ever enjoy the day
As a bit of a concrete geek (i follow Dave Odell and West Coast Concrete) I have to say that concrete truck operator was VERY good. He laid that mix down very nicely.
Loved the Mellinial Farmer reference! LOL
Its always satisfying to watch Craftsman do their thing
Looks great Mike.
Thanks
Mike great video, looks like a great crew. Thanks for sharing. Kevin
Thanks
Always something good from you and this time FOR YOU! Strange thing is a DP video without you physically working the concrete - GOOD - nice to watch some 'good buddies' do the work. Speaking of concrete, KUDOS for a "RADIANT HEAT" floor in the shop. We need that here in the northeast! Consider this pour a Birthday Gift to yourself and enjoy how sweet it came out! Sonny (CT)
I like watching folks using the power screener. I am not a concrete pro, but this looks really good. I saw Captains video first and saw him spray the dirt off of the pad. What a nice thing for him to do. Maybe a few extra hours of equipment use would be in line. He seems to have your best interest in mind.
Have good days!!
You know DP Captain gave away that you put the concrete down 3 weeks ago putting new tires on the dump truck. LOL Looks good.
Thanks Mike!
Happy Birthday !
Thats alot of Concrete and Happy Birthday to another Michael best name ever , mines may 9th. So stay safe
Thanks

Turned out great Mike.
You deserve a pat on the back for a job well done.

I’m surprised MBTS wasn’t there to “assist” holding a rake or broom. 😉
Thanks and got called back to work
everyone did a great job .
They did a great job. This was a good investment.
Thanks
You work with so many crews of true journeymen of the trades. I really appreciate and enjoy the back and forth bantering. You all represent your trades with professionalism and skill. Keep up the good work and keep passing the knowledge down to the next generation

Thanks
Happy Born Day Mike!🎂🍾
Gosh, whenever I had concrete poured there was always a
“Situation “! Truck broke down on highway, worker getting chemical burn from kneeling in concrete, truck getting stuck, truck got lost, etc. How did yours go so “Perfect “?
It sure does look pretty! Nice job guys!
If i have mine Exv like that my life well set
Even when you're not working you manage to create a great video Michael.👍 Matt did a great job, I wish my concrete looked half that good.
Thanks Tom

Tighten up the screed blade! Looks great

Thanks
Love watching concrete work, Great video, Always great content. Kind of miss MBTS.

Thanks
@DirtPerfect, Happy Birthday Young Man
Thanks
Happy Birthday Young Man!! Have a Blessed Day.
Thanks
Mike, me not knowing anything excavation, pipe lines, construction, etc., but absolutely enjoy watching those videos. I must admit though, concrete flatware is my fave!
Thanks Doug
I have to say, out here in Oregon that pour wouldn't pass muster, out here you have to prop up the rebar every 24" so that it's suspended in the cement, also we have to tye the rebar together at every cross point.
Well last I checked not there thanks
If I would have known you where having a birthday party, I would have made the trip to Derby. Happy birthday buddy.
Thanks buddy hell I did not even know
@@DirtPerfect Mrs SOT dropped the ball. She should have let me know. lol
I like how your guy's move out of the way of the chute and allow the operator to lay down the concrete. It seems like I always get that one or two that just refuse to move and screw me up. Those guy's usally get tapped on the shin or ankle with my chute then they wake up because they don't wanna be tapped again. I never do it to harm someone just enough to get my message across otherwise I look like an idiot pouring concrete and leaving bare spots or having to pull back up and pour where they were blocking. Nice work guy's. Stay safe.
Great Job and video! Stay Safe Guys!
Thanks! You too!
Like the video on the concret .
Thanks
he was holdin the wall up lol
Looks great Mike
Thanks
I don't do concrete very much, but I really think they did a great job. I like your new toy as well.
Thanks
I love that excavator looks great. My 87 kobelco 903lc is almost as good but still like yours better. How do they keep the rebar off bottom? I've seen local guys use concrete bricks but I couldnt see anything really that held yours off the ground.
from the Netherlands thanks for the video Mike
Got to love them Helpful Home Owners. You know that cost extra, right ?
😝😂
Made for a great viewing video bro. Safe travels
Thanks
Most definitely a huge improvement for your shop.
Looks good when you have a top notch crew doing the job.
Hats off to those guys.
No more mud and water getting dragged in the shop you have to clean up later.
Also a lot better when you gotta get under equipment to work on it outside so you're not rolling in dirt and gravel.
Happy birthday Mike.
Nice birthday present.
Thanks
Watch it!
Poles are watching...
Dont need to worry about tying it in to an existing slab. Especially if it's a customer's house and there not aware. Just make it a monolithic pour with a thickened edge and rebar enforced. Nice cement crew on your pour
Happy birthday Mike have a great day take care
Thanks
Good job Maggie!
Looking bud. I like excavator.
Thanks
Awesome looking pad. Looks really good.
Thanks
Great video 👍. Thanks for sharing. I don't always comment, but when I do, it's very important. I like to be relevant unlike 'onelonelyfarmer'. I thought the nice beautiful dog was gonna lift his leg. Hoss looks like a hard working boss. My favorite supervisor on this job was the homeowner. Eaglegards...
lol thanks buddy
