I’m 52 and have lots of Mac and fenty but I’ve also been using Avon and the foundation is amazing especially as I have menopause hot flushes and it stays o great xx

First of all, I love that ur using the right color foundation, most woc use the darkest color on their face as a guide AND THAT IS WRONG, the opposite is true, use the the lightest color on ur face and/or the color on the INSIDE of ur WRISTS as a guide to find ur foundation colour😊😊 I love ur channel and how detailed ur explanations are 🤴🏾 I would also apply the yellow powder between ur eyebrows drawing a down arrow ⬇️ w the open arrow between ur brows

The L’Oreal infallible foundation is a really good drugstore foundation that is similar to the Bobbi Brown foundation ☺️

If you already have oily skin would you still need the serum?
It works on oily skin too. The serum changes the formula of the foundation from thick to hydrating. If you’re oily skin, I would say use an oil free serum 😌
Do you wait for the concealer to dry down a bit or do you apply the powder straight away?
No, I blend immediately to get a smoother blend 😊

I would say any lightweight hydrating serum would work. The one I’m using is the MAC serumizer 😌

Unfortunately, you do what a lot of youtubers do, in my opinion: you use products that are too dark. Your color is wonderful, and then you went and used a dark foundation, adding more color with your ensuing bronzer and blush.
if you use Paul's choice 25% AHA with 2% BHA nightly, retinol 2% twice a week at nights, and Niacinamide daily , you will get rid of the large skin pores. Thanks for the makeup tips. Best wishes.
