I’m 61 yrs old. As a teenager, young adult and mother I didn’t have you tube etc. I’m must say this is the best tutorial explaining how to apply makeup. I just finished Radiation and Chemotherapy/ Stage One Breast Cancer. I have makeup products but never really knew how to apply them. This is honestly the best step-by-step guide I've seen so far. I'm a no-nonsense-get-to-the-damn-point type of person and she delivers. When I'm looking for an instructional video for something, I don't want to hear about your cats or spend the first few minutes having "girl talk" or watch you for 5 minutes prim and preen before the tutorial, or engage in "relatable" cutesy talk with the audience, don't care, just get to the damn point. I'm quite light-skinned but the tutorial still applies to everyone, just use the shades for your skin tone, that's all. Thank you so much for your intelligent, informative and concise tutorial, new subscriber. Btw, you already have a nice base to work with, you are very pretty!

This was honestly the best tutorial I have ever seen. It was incredibly detailed, even though I have been working with makeup for years, you have still managed to teach me something and answered so many questions I had. This video is really amazing.
Ale jay this is THE MOST DETAILED tutorial on how to apply your makeup that I have seen. You even show the correct colors to use when we are highlighting our under eye and for our contour as well as the correct placement as well. This video for me is very much needed and appreciated. I knew that in order for my makeup to look good that I needed to do these things but you break it down as to why and where. But I have a question for you, when I highlight my under eye, what color concealer should I use if my undertone is a combo of warm and neutral if that makes sense. I tend to shy away from highlighting my under eye because I can see like a gray shadow and I don’t like it. Or it looks dull and gray or ashy. It doesn’t look warm and pretty and golden like yours is.

@@AleJay I was using hourglass concealer in the color flax. But now I switched to Fenty pro filter concealer in shade 410 and my foundation color is 420 so I’m not getting that under eye brightness because I think 410 is to close to my concealer shade.
