Great topic as always. By labeling meals as cheat meals, though, you are psychologically thinking your other meals of the week are undesirable. I tend to concentrate more on portion control and balancing macro- and micronutrients as necessary.

Wow mr " Goal guy", you have REALY done your work on that body and overall estetics. Have been following you for some years, but before i thought of your projects as just short term boost and that nothing was gonna last for you ( 30 days sceems never last for most people, habits are ALOT harder to stick with long term). But now we can truly see that you have keept grinding and working out with heavy weights and keeping the diet.

You don't cheat if you don't go over your daily calories or mess up your protein intake. Those are some viable every day meals, not cheat meals.
In the UK we have pop chips which have less cals than regular tortilla chips, make a good substitute for healthier nachos.
we have them here in the US too!
I never saw any problem with ingesting a lot of sodium. You can move that around quickly with water and quick jumping jacks. It's the fat and empty carbs that kill my 6 pack!

I would love to see a goal video around transforming your cooking. You might be able to collab with some other CZcams channels (eg Ethan Cheblowski, Babish comes to mind) to have them take these recipes to the next level. Or they could analyze where you’re at and highlight the biggest improvements you can make over 30 days. Idk 🤷♂️

Also these are pretty much healthy meals with low calories anyways. Remove ranch or sauces and it's pro athlete level clean.
This is high calories only if you're looking to eat way under 2000 calories.
Exactly lol, this is probably why so many people think you have to eat boring food when trying to lose weight. I mean that third meal in particular i would even say is a great balanced meal to eat every day, can replace the ranch and add tzatziki(made with greek yogurt) for lower calories but arguably taste better as well.

Is his recipes really that good? They never look appealing too me tbh, it seems like theres way too much focus on the high volume part which sacrifices flavor too much. I feel like i can just make my normal meals instead but making a few swaps to make it a little less calories and then add some salad on the side for volume.

Daily amount of sodium? What else do you count, apart from macros? Don't think I've ever counted anything else but macros and possibly Zn and Mg.

For me unhealthy cheat meals are very detrimental and don't help me whatsoever, so instead of doing that, my "cheat" day consists on spending more money than usual in high quality food and cooking something healthy but that I can'f afford to eat everytime I have a meal because of economy

High protein is super overrated and questionable in terms of healthy kidneys. I lose fat way easier on moderate protein and more satisfied

You’re demonising salt, if it’s not directed by your doctor, you don’t need to watch for salt
2 and a bit min in and I'm so turned off.
1. He keeps hinting at sodium.
Sodium like other ELECTROLYTES (Mag, pot and calcium) are essential to your bodily functions. Btw low sodium causes the body to leeche the other 3 electrolytes from the bone).
Extra sodium gets excreted through urinr and exercise people. It doesn't go and clog anything anywhere. You need more of it when you exercise.
2. Fats. There's a lot of different kinds of fat in terms of source and molecular structure. Saturated fat has been proven many times already that it's not actually bad for the body. Carbs are. Fat(s) have a actual function in the body and carbs don't. They provide quick energy however fat also provides energy along with many other metabolic functions (same goes for cholesterol) like hormone signaling, cellular functions like structure etc.)
3. Fitness is one thing which a lot of people are already doing correct but health? Many still miss the mark by a country mile as they are led by the food pyramid which tells us to eat a high sugar diet (carbohydrates is sugar,aka, sacharride) and its based on flawed sceince. This is well documented by the low carb community like Prof Tim Noaks, Michelle Hurn, Dr Bret Scher, Dr Ken Berry etc, Dr Paul Mason etc.
4. Also, you dont need fibre. why eat something you cant digest?
i found if i do exercise my body can deal with sugar (carbs) better but best the less i consume anyway.
