Flight attendants have those teacher vibes. Always feel like I’m gonna get in trouble for something when they walk past
Yes because they are egotistical and entitled.
I enjoy their presence as they 're so unique in different flights
Nevertheles, are quite a few kants among them.
@@makisekurisu8594 I can't stand those motherfuckers. You could be on a flight for 10 hours and you have to fucking beg for water and any time you need to ask them for something they act like you're bothering them.
Lol, I agree!!
Girls saying dont hit on me because its our job being nice to you and seconds later the guy says to ask him if he is single
Lmao
Gender inequality

because he is gay or bi, mostly male flight attendants are..
She said that because a guy straight up tried to kiss her. 😰 It’s funny that guy said that though.
That girl at the end must’ve had a bad experience. Lol
It just gives flight attendants a bad rep we are there to do a job not be sex slaves if you fall for that you will probably get used and everybody is going to know you do it.
Nicholas Pavao 😂😂😂
what was she talking about? What reputation do pilots have? Lol
Mile high club
The common assumption is that pilots are sleazy. They travel a lot and are away from home so as you can imagine they sleep with anything, regardless of if they have a spouse or boyfriend/girlfriend at home@@edgari6190
I thought this was BuzzFeed for a second...
Lol
Another title for the video?
Be a decent human being.
Exactly!
No mature father's to raise their kids right.
@Boxing Bro Looks like it going by the responses to this comment. Sheesh...
ROFL the white dude was a savage 😂😂
He needs to be fired, he thinks himself above the passenger. In all most air hosts have an entitled view of themselves.
Just ask him to brush his tongue lol HAHAHH 🤮
I have to laugh about a black guy who doesn't like "Hey" yelled at him. Take a closer look at YOUR peoples' culture. If a black guy called me anything other than "hey", I'd have a heart attack.

‘They think they’ve bought a seat, when in reality their just renting one’ I choked with laughter.
Yeah but when you pay several thousand dollars for a few hours of flying then yes the service level is expected to be over the top.
@@nomansland120 are you fucking kidding me. Over The Top Service? You're in a freaking Airplane that is made to carry your lazy ass from one place to another... For OVER THE FUCKING TOP SERVICES you go to a Five Star. You pay for the travel, not for some person to lick your ass each time you scratch it.
Ps. That plane thing can fuck up with your life if they're not there. And absolutely not there to feed you and sleep with you and be abused by you.
OVER THE TOP SERVICES MY HAIRY ARSEHOLE.
@@nomansland120 this is my problem...the paying over the top is to fly on that glorified bus in the air. Planes are expensive. You are actually not paying much at all. You pay for what you get.
Want top service...buy first class
@@jonathandpg6115 can not agree anymore. 👍
@@jonathandpg6115 i was actually referring to first class tickets in my comment. Sorry if that was unclear. If a nornal ticket is 800 bucks and you pay 2000 extra for an upgrade, den the service should also reflect that extra cost. I thought this is what were talking about.
My first part time job in college was in customer service and ever since then I've made sure to act and talk as nice and considerate as possible to others in the customer service industry because I know the kind of assholes they have to interact with everyday. I honestly believe everyone should have a customer service job for at least a few months just so they grow empathy for those in the business and maybe become less of an asshole in the process because you know these employees cannot know and do everything.
@Boxing Bro In an ideal world, yes. Unfortunately we don't live in one. But maybe if everyone goes through the same experience, at least a little, we will all have a bit more empathy.
absolutely agree. You might just make their day by being nice because most people are dicks to them
Youd be surprised at how many people that work in a customer service job continue to be that rude customer they brag about having to deal with. The hypocrisy in this world in unreal
After the "how to treat bar tenders..." expisode I came here expecting another montage of self-entitlement. But actually, those were absolutely reasonable and I'm a bit confused that people need to be told that. Just hope they get to look through the occasional utter **** and still notice that most passengers are just normal people in a somewhat stressful situation.
Haha same, these guys are so much nicer. Anyway I guess video producers just didnt have luck and picked bunch of schmucks for that other video.
It's almost as if the people who actually have a difficult job are more humble about itm
True! Those bartenders took themselves a bit too serious.
Same
You probably don’t tip, huh
It's so weird to me that that you have to explain to people to say hello goodbye, thank you and don't treat people like shit ... How ground breaking
Some people are introverted and try to avoid social situations even simple ones like those they aren't trying to be rude they are just uncomfortable.
Besides, given that most people say hello and goodbye, is there really a need for everyone to do that? If I was a flight attendant, if anything, I would be glad if some people (from the hundreds that i serve every day) would quietly walk out, and avoid the unnecessary formalities.
I was honestly unsure if saying hello or goodbye to a flight attendant would just be tiersom for them. Having to say hello and goodbye and that your day is going well even when it's not, literally more than 500 times in a single day sometimes on a plane while breathing very dry, very "recycled" air seems like it would be hard on the voice. I've never flown (not on purpose anyways) so now I'm glad I know, so I don't make an ass of myself.
You have to understand people from different countries and cultures fly.not every culture sees being extroverted, friendly, greeting as a good thing.they might find(what you think is common) uncomfortable
I disagree, i think talking to them beyond their basic function is overdoing it and i can't wait until they get replaced with robots, i would never say hello goodbye or any of that shit and if someone other than a friend, or someone who wanted to strike up a conversation with me would do that i would take it as a sign of rudeness.
Ask us questions like we know ! Like “are you single” 😂😂😂
Working as a regional flight attendant in Australia, the best reaction I had from passengers is when a crate of mudcrabs broke open and the cabin was filled with angry crabs. I've always been wary of catching crabs on every flight since!
Catching Crabs LoL 😆
All of this is obvious...
the fact that there is a video explaining this 🤯
MoreAmerican humanity is stupid now. We need CZcams tutorials for everything, including common sense.
As obvious as it sounds, these are daily occurrences I have on a plane as an FA. Common sense ain't too common.
Vice is losing it's standards, downgrading to Buzzfeed.
Mate half of passengers can’t even operate the lavatory door ...
I think that's the point: It's ironic. (At least that's how I see it.)

Regulations are strict and they are clean here
I just don't want to deal with attitude. Half the time I don't bother look at their face. I want water in bottle and that is it. I don't need you for the rest of the flight. That was business class.

@@MKT_ADJ dont date flight attendants either same as pilots. "Because they do."
She made that real personal at the end 😂😂
Got a flight tomorrow, I’ve seen all this as I fly a lot, This is all pretty accurate, people are absolutely brutal.
How was your flight?
He's in the air
Why do they become different creatures upon boarding an airplane?
Ergis Begaj flight was solid, way better on the way home thanks!
rudy vasquez lol
As a flight attendant, I always welcome every passenger that boards a flight. I get a response back MAYBE by 40 percent of the passengers that gets on the plane. Most just walk past us after greeting them. I am aware that you may have a fear of flying, had some issues at check in, going through security, and maybe they made you checked your bags at the gate because they’re too big or we are out of space in the overhead bins. I know that you’ve gone through a lot before you got on the plane. Keep in mind it’s not the flight attendants fault. We are human too. If you’re one of those people that don’t knowledge us because you’re mad at what happened in the past try to change that. I’ve bought many drinks for passengers that have just acknowledged me because... sadly it’s really not common.
I would probably get into an argument with the bold dude on a long flight.
Lmfao
They're both bald?
...and at the end of the flight you might have to talk with law enforcement
Bold or bald?
I’ll treat you nice if you treat me nice. It works both ways.....
They're still required to be nice to you no matter how you treat flight attendants
Unfortunately many passengers take advantage of that
My poor daughter used to come home from work crying, it's a stressful job
The Boss it used to be more expensive and more luxurious, until people complained now room is smaller, and tickets are less expensive to appeal to plebs like u that should be riding the grey hound 🤷🏽♂️
Artem 'what have i done' Lobov Hmm ever heard of first class?
This guy frequently asks to speak to the managers/pilots
Better version: I'll treat you nice either way.
I want to have all these attendants on a single flight
Damnnn, that girl in the blue 😍
Lol I typed the same thing!
simp
2:02 in this day and age I seriously doubt it
While I completely agree that everyone should be nice to flight attendants, I also want to stress how important it is that flight attendants do not assume everyone is out there to make their lives on the flight harder. Just because there are 10-20 idiots out of 200 passengers, doesn't mean you should be intense when interacting with people who are genuinely nice and welcoming. I always say Hi to everyone, regardless if they are flight attendants, waiters, bus drivers or my boss at work. I treat everyone with same respect unless they are disrespectful to me first.
Is being gay mandatory for being a male flight attendant?
Pretty much lmao
He not gay u racist
Yes
💀 😭
Ammm no. Maybe that's the environment with American origin Airlines but I have worked in the industry fr a while in my country and u have all kinds of guys. Frm sweet stright to hella gay and all the ones in between too.
I treat my flight attendants the same way I treat my waiters: if I'm nice to them, I know they won't spit in my drink or give me the worst food tray. Also, flight attendants are in charge of my safety, so NOT ONLY I will ask them how they are, treat them with respect and not make a fuss about my drink of choice not being available, but I will also make them feel appreciated and thank them every chance I get. I hate when someone sees a flight attendant as a server. Grow up.
Yes but equally you've just outlined that you kiss ass in return for a normal service. You shouldn't have to kiss ass. You do this because you know deep down most air stewards and stewardesses are entitled egotistical individuals that think too much about themselves, that's why so many gays work in the industry, highly opinionated fantasists that think working on a plane makes them classy.
@@craig9299 wow yikes. Entitled, unempathetic and homophobic rolled into one. You sound like first class human being.

As soon as the stewardess serves the coffee, the airplane encounters turbulence.

I try to go out of my way to make flight attendants life easier... listen to them, watch their safety briefing, always be super polite, never hit the call button unless it’s an emergency! Unfortunately a plane of 90%s of us and 10% of the entitled brats will still make it a horrible flight.
Mad props for flight attendants!!!
I try to do that with anyone who has to deal with the public. When there's a heat wave and I know I'll be home when the mail man passes by, I put a bottle of water in the fridge and offer it to him when he gets to my house.
Thank you! #gratitude
I just find it bizarre that they serve alcohol on planes. That is just a bad idea.
There are crying babies and coughing dickwats and shit smelling in the air so alcohol is good. You were an bad idea.
@@juzzi137 fckin hate those crying babies, geez
Did you see the video of that baby that was bawling its ass off for 8 hours on one flight and the mother did nothing? lmfao that's definitely when everyone needs some alcohol.
This is more informative than a bong assembly tutorial. Thank you, Vice. Really cool.
LOVE This series!
The white guy was the realest dude I have ever seen. I never knew flight attendants go through so much. Respect to them.
I hate be the pretentious European but I've never seen any of this happen here, people just sit down and mind their own business
ThePainkiller9995 I feel the same way
But, you are basically are doing that.
I've flown all over the EU, and I've absolutely seen this nonsense... but *only* on budget airlines. And no, it's not just Americans being assholes, I've seen plenty of Europeans break these basic rules. This is why I refuse to fly on budget airlines anymore.
@@hwfq34fajw9foiffawdiufhuaiwfhw it is not the same on Chinese flights, hahaha. I fly typically three flights a month in China, it is complete chaos. lol
It hardly happens on U.S. flights as well. I’ve flown many times and I’ve only seen nice, respectful passengers

2:06 OMG I can’t stop laughing, I always watch flight demo, but now I won’t be able to get the picture of this flight attendant out of my head. 🤣🤣🤣
3:56 - economy passengers are equal to first class class passengers and though they might not receive the same amenities, should be treated with the same respect.
Most likely edited out of context. What he probably means is that if you’re in economy you shouldn’t expect the same level of service - no coat service, no preflight beverage, don’t be picky about your food, don’t expect the FAs to know your name, etc.
@@BlownMacTruck I agree with you. I wish they had edited it differently.
Did you put an ad on Craigslist for angry flight attendants?
When you travel often you come to realize that at least 25% of them are "angry".
They’re not even angry... it’s called being in the service industry
Talia Lowery I’ve worked in service for minimum wage and never complained because I chose to work there. They get paid $50k a year with a high school diploma...
@@anon69669
And for all the effort, it is a good living. But depending where you live, $50k is still not great.
🙂I really like this one. It gave flight attendants the chance to speak out. This video was informative and the gentlemen who cursed he had me LAUGHING 🤣 he seem to be honest (not saying the rest wasn’t) so down to earth and just being himself . All of the flight attendance in this video made me view things differently on how to go about on the plane. Although in general I’m respectful to others . .. video just gave a me chance to see how they feelings and there feelings are important Good video👌🏾
This is awesome and needed you should do more of these people you see everyday videos
These videos make me wonder how humanity as a group manages to survive sometimes.
They don't survive, they are baby sat by governments all around the world. They cant do anything for themselves.
All of this is common sense to me? I'm so shocked people actually take shoes off, don't greet the attendants ect
Why should I be expected to greet someone I don't know, wont know and don't want to know? Why any different than the guy who cleans the floors in the airport? Or the guy who scans me for drugs everytime ? Should I also say hello to that racist fool?
@@michaelsedgley3236 the person who cleans the floors inst their to greet you and Welcome you onto the plane, how ever the attendants are there to welcome you its called being polite and not being a prick ?

God bless this series
@2:40 this guy wants some action hahahahahaha, the question could have literally been anything, but nope, he goes for "are you single" he's just waiting for the right person to ask it and he'll be like "yes yes yes yes YEEEEEES I AM!!!!!"

I don't even need to watch this video it's simple, treat others how you want to be treated....
A lot people don't get that unfortunately

Sorry i can hear you i have AirPods in
Yo vice... You've already done this video.
3:08 I love this dude lmao
Wow! I've always put myself in the place of the flight attendant, and have been considerate. I never knew they disliked passengers so much.
It's a good thing I'm too tall to be a flight attendant, so I never even thought of that job field. I personally like to treat them like PEOPLE and I use manners. I didn't know they had to put up with so much shit.
If you’re in coach and you recline your seat you should be removed from the flight.
Be nice to people it makes the world better
And easier.
Idk what planes these people are on but most people are pretty quiet and respectful on my plane trips
What about pilots' reputation? (Genuinely curious)
They sleep around (city to city) and live a pretty promiscuous lifestyle due to the nature of their job and job title (the public perception and prestige of being a pilot being attractive)
Jack Caponi not a bad life
It's some trope from the 1960s that pilots live a glamorous lifestyle, make lots of money, and have women in every city that they bang on the regular. In reality the guys are six figures in debt from flight school making $30,000 a year, tired and out of shape. Being a pilot was once a prestigious job, now it's just a flying bus driver whose wages have been driven down by downward pressure from airlines and a glut of graduates from private flight schools.
In all seriousness I’ve had a flight attendant be extremely rude to be before when I asked a simple question, not nice!
Well Laura welcome to the real world
Let me guess - you asked if you could get a drink while the fasten seatbelt sign was on, or you asked if you could hold your giant bag in your lap during take off or landing? That profile pic totally looks like the type.
Quite different actually! The door to the lavatory was stuck closed. The flight attendant was standing only about a foot away. I said “excuse me, I think the door is jammed” and she snapped back at me and said “I can’t talk right now” even tho she was literally standing there on her own personal cell phone. It came off super rude. Like it’s stated in the video, it’s their job to be nice to people.
BlownMacTruck judgmental much?
Lauraaa I somehow doubt that’s what actually happened. You invite it with that profile pic.
LMAO ‘nuts, eat your nuts’ 🤣🤣
When in the boarding lounge, I always ask the staff there if any of them have any allergies. Then I go and buy them all some sweets or savory snacks for them and the pilot/s. It's the least I can do for these particular people for making sure I make it to my destination safely. Especially because I get motion sickness a bit so flying is terribly stressful for me.
They should show videos like this one at airports 😂 so many people don't know how to behave on planes 🤦🏻♀️ or better said in general...

Every time I get on a plane the flight attendant act like everyone is rude and mean people Get pre judged. Look how irritated they are with passengers. That energy people feel.
What people dont realize is it's probably not the FAs first flight of the day. They can be still burned from the last flight. That's aside from the lack of sleep and long hours
This is hilarious, glad they keep such a posture attitude.
Be kind
Nice job for getting all these people fired, Vice ;))
Anony Mous pretty sure these are just paid actors, none of them are wearing actual airline uniforms
Don’t date pilots, cause fly away ?
If you want to date someone in aviation, go for ground crew. You still get flight benefits but they're stable. Pilots and Flight Attendants are hardly home enough to easily sustain a steady relationship.
I would love to see the same segment for European flight attendants. See if there is any difference in the way they feel treated.
