You do not need PCR to enter Egypt if you are fully vaccinated
But need a QR certificate that is not what we got in the US

I can confirm this. I just arrived in Egypt from USA last night without a test, only vaccination card with qr code.
It's not really an official check, it's super chaotic, so they just glance at the paper, they didn't scan it or ask to see my physical CDC card.
@@gregai8456 thanks for the report. I managed to get a QR code of my vaccinations from my doctors office. I will have my PCR test anyways because I have a few hours transit in Amman , Jordan. The information is confused on what to do while in transit. Let’s hope for the best!
@@robertoa6958 You should check with your airline for transit details. Because they will tell you if you are allowed to fly or not. I flew with Qatar and it was very easy.

@@EgyptMadeEasy Yes, 48 hours and buy at the airport. We are not big drinkers but I was looking forward to a nice Grey Goose on the rocks on the top deck of a cruise.

I was 3 times vaccinated and it was free here. Why is it not enough? The PCR test costs 65 $ in Hungary. So it"s too much, so we don't travel.
I don't think he's correct. But $65 is really cheap. In the USA it's about $150 at the cheapest.

Most airlines will require a Negative PCR test when leaving Egypt , any suggestion or recommendation when you could get the test done cheap in Cairo . Thank you .
It’s easy through the hotel. The lab take a sample in your room.
Does Cairo airport do PCR testing? I am not vaccinated . Would I need 24 hour results? If yes how can I get fast results?

THE QR requirement is a problem from US passengers since we dont have it here in our vaccination cards or test results.. What can we do ?
Did your vaccination use VAMS? I have a qr code when I print out my VAMS certificate.

This information I received from ROYAL JORDANIAN AIRLINES
PCR test before travelling:
-Requested for all passengers 72 hours prior arrival
- PCR certificate accepted as following:
1. PCR test stamped (original hard copy with original stamp without any scraps or amendments) or
2. PCR test with QR code is accepted either soft copy or printed photo provided QR code is readable and with the same below PCR conditions.
3. For passengers travelling from USA, PCR result through email is accepted even if there is no stamp or QR on it, provided that the email sent directly from the issuing lab to the passenger email. Otherwise, it will not be accepted at CAI Airport.
Type of test (RT-PCR) should be mentioned.
-Date and time for the PCR should be mentioned in order to calculate the 72 hours.
-PCR test result accepted in both languages English or Arabic
- The following type of tests are not accepted instead of PCR (ID NOW, PCR-NAA, NAAT Antigen - AG, IGg-IGm, IAMP PCR, QL RT PCR).
I finally arrived at Cairo Airport without any issues. I presented , to a guy sitting with a desk in the middle of the aisle towards passport control , my PCR test report without QR code but I enclosed a copy of the test appointment , which had a QR code. I don’t think he read anything no even my name in those papers and that was all. I was prepared but fortunately no question were asked.
