As a hunter, camper, fisherman, etc. I was pretty sad when my son wasn't really into any of that. He told me "I'm not really outdoorsy, Dad." But the kid has been coding at a college level since he was in middle school.
Humanity. It's missing in a lot of people. I'm glad some people let their kids not hunt. Some are forced to hunt, unfortunately. But hey, if it's needed, whatever.
Its actually called chemicals and hormones, but sure. Give a princess a shot of testosterone. She how she starts to eat her dolls for meat and turn her crown into a shank. Just saying.
Very fucken true, my momma raised me and my twin the same exact way. Listen to the same music, dressed us like twins, talked, raised us the same way basically. And we’re totally different. Different interests, different styles, etc
As a female who was never invited to any hunting or camping trips growing up let me to say thank you to these two dads for taking their daughters. When their daughters grow up they'll definitely thank them too. Those are precious memories.
@@stefannico What? They're spending time with their dad. It doesn't matter what they are doing, they should get as much of that quality time as possible. It doesn't sound like you had parents that did much with you.
Yeah, especially these days when we're closing mountain passes, cancelling ferries and recommending people staying inside (Feb. 2020) - as long as you're dressed what could possibly go wrong :) BUT, when it comes to being outside in cold weather (and some wet) - yeah I agree, proper clothing is essential !
My daughter loves animals cried when sheering sheep and they get cut. So for her mental well being I wouldn't want her seeing me kill an animal.. As you said everyone is different and you should nurture that .
Said the exact same thing about female hunters to my husband the other day... I guess I'm skeptical, but if there's a female hunter on a show (supposedly tent camping out in the mountains) with perfect hair, makeup, nails and jewelry I cannot take her seriously
Bunch of dumb shits who should never be allowed to have children, when are we gonna start limiting and making Americans apply for the right to give birth and procreate.
My cousin is married to a woman who loves to hunt, but she doesn't believe people see her as a real woman and it upsets her. It's just who she is. And she doesn't do sex poses with their kills. She looks like a muddy hunter. I love her. ❤
My son was a natural hunter. My daughter hates hunting, but she loves butchering. I'll never forget this one particular incident when they were teenagers. He busted into the house and excitedly grabbed his sister. "I got you a present!" I followed them out and there was a freshly dead deer on my front porch. My daughter started crying. "You did this for ME?!" "It's for your birthday!" They hugged and she ran in to get her knife set. I've noticed this trend in my entire family. The women have no problem breaking down animals, but killing is harder for all of us. The guys love every step of the process. My mom was an avid hunter because we needed the meat and she didn't trust anyone else to kill the animal right.
Wow that’s pretty racist. I happen to know many whites who hunt fur food cause it’s cgesoer and they enjoy it. You do realize whites in past ate things people would think is disgusting too. My father for example grew up dirt poor in the 50s and grew up eating hog brains and squirrel brains and possum etc so please don’t tell us that lie ok. Thank you. Have a nice day.
Most amazing deer hunting bowshot I ever saw was actually recorded as part of a public television program in Georgia many years ago. A woman was in a tree, sighting in on one of two deer that were about four feet apart. She fired; the arrow went into the first deer but just caught the edge of its shoulder blade so it deflected through the heart, exited the first deer level to the ground, and then pierced the heart of the second deer four feet away. They both fell dead within a half-second of each other. It was the world's most perfect shot.
@@karcsih3836 Yeah, I'm not a hunter, and I was just going through the channels that morning on the weekend when the whispers of the two hunters in the tree caught my curiosity. The man was an instructor and the woman was a beginning hunter. I wouldn't have believed the shot had I not seen it. I wish like hell I could remember the name of the program, but you might luck out in that I think it was the only hunting-related program on Georgia Public Television that I ever remember, so maybe the station can help you track it down.
I was not aware this was a real phenomena, but it makes sense. The only female hunters I've ever met are legit, the former assistant principal where I work, she was wore dresses and skirts and fake lashes to work, but also did crossfit, hunted with no makeup, and probably dead lifted the deer before doing some box jumps.
Of the 10% of license holders who are women, 90% of their licenses were bought by their husbands/boyfriends (after the woman took a weekend Hunter safety training course) so he would have an extra tag.
This is true but my girl puts down more game every year then me! She has more time to hunt but she loves it! We have four girls and they are split! Yes they all get a license so we can have more!
Maybe some of them, but for the most part I think the women who routinely buy licences are the ones who were raised to hunt and fish and go out and do it on their own accord.
Replying to Joe Rogan, I'm sure in the U.S. there are more male hunters than female but I'm sure there are females who love hunting as well. Also, the female hunters that he sees doing exercises on instagram, to that I would say that since they are the "pretty kind", those are going to be the most popular. The female hunters who dont go with the "sex sells" motto are obviously not going to be much in the public eye. That's my theory.
A friend of mine at school is a girl who loves to hunt. I’m a big time hunter as well so we swap hunting stories a lot, and she is very down to earth, very quiet, and kind of a tomboy. A lot of other girls who “hunt” only act like hunters for the camera, but in all actuality, aren’t hunters
@@ugglebo1198 i wasn't saying it was a bad thing. Im just saying that that is probably why he only knows of the attractive instagram girls who hunt. There are some who don't just post selfies but you wouldn't know of them because... well... they don't post selfies lol
Daughter of a tomboy here, I hated that stuff so, so much. We fought, I'd cry. My father is very outdoorsy, hunts, fishes, builds things by hand but didn't push me into it. I just came out different than both my parents. My mom was very disappointed that I wasn't competitive or sporty. She really wanted to sit on the side lines, proud as hell, cheering while I kicked butt. It was hard because I didn't like to be outside if it was hot, if there were bugs, and getting sweaty, gross. I liked pretty things, ice skating, ballet, beautiful dresses, staying clean lol. Fishing? Give me a break, how anyone can stay awake through that is beyond me. I always thought my mom would have been much happier with a boy. You have to let your kids be themselves, their interests don't have to match your own. She wanted me to be some corporate shark and told me explicitly never get married, never have kids because it would ruin my life. Again, difficult because I dreamed of being married and having lots of cute babies, which is what I did. She barely speaks to me now. Has told me I've never made her proud. But if I had pretended for her benefit I would have been miserable inside. So I lived my life. I do get my hands dirty these days, in the garden ( both roses and vegetables), and I raise birds for fresh eggs, and even raise and kill my own thanksgiving turkey every year. But that's as far as I've gotten. I want my kids to understand where food comes from and appreciate it. Doubt I'll ever go hunting...but you never know.
how does he not get it? when i was a kid my dad took me biking all the time. but by the age of like 15 i wasnt bothered because i wasnt into it... You cant just force your hobbies on your own kids.
Oh my God yes. I'm 28 and haven't gone camping in over a decade. My dad sends me expensive camping gear at least once a year. I now have 3 down mummy sleeping bags, and guess where they are going? Probably to a dumpster because I moved to Florida and I don't want to spend money to send these somewhere people actually need cold weather sleeping bags... It's very frustrating
Naj Kraemer my dads puppeteer hobby would dispute the fuck out of that statement I’m not allowed out of the basement until I’ve finishes 100 sets on each muscle of the puppet
My daughter and niece love hunting. I've been taking them big game hunting since they were 12. Both are out of college now and still hunt. The decision to shoot or not has always been 100% up to them. I think that has helped them to own the process.
I knew a super hot girl that was huge into fishing! Like REALLY into it..........posted shit about "female anglers" all over social media. .....she was about 32.......blonde.....hot body........but word had it she was crazy. Anyways, word had it with her friends that she was only doing it to find a guy because her reputation was that she was a lil mentally unstable. Well guess what.......she found a guy after three years of fishing and gave up fishing hahahahaha
good, she probably would have destroyed fishing for the guy that she met. Whenever your girl tries to get into your hobby, get ready to have 1 less hobby.

I'm a female hunter. I've been hunting to provide meat for my family for 20 years. I gut and process my own deer. I even built my deer stand about 10 years ago. It'll be there when my granddaughter is ready to hunt.
so i wanna ask, what is your take on this nature and nurture debate. like i m from a culture where we dont hunt cause we are vegetarians [i am indian by the way ]. would be glad if you replied.
Well, mate, you have to give attention to the fact that every conscience man would do the same. You can act tough when your daughter fails, to teach her to be more resilient, but in the end of the day, your heart will bleed out in the process. She is your little girl! While in the case of the son - you will keep it more strict. Because he is a boy. And he will and MUST take the harsh lessons to grow up a man. It's a simple biology and psychology.
wow its like you guys didnt pay attention at all what he said was that he tried the same thing with his daughter that he did with his son, but her behaviour kept at low energy AS A CONSEQUENCE OF THAT his reaction to her behaviour changed too, these are two different instances that occured at different times, one causing the other he treated her the same way, she supposedly rejected his approach and that made him question how he should treat her when his son met similar circumstances in that given situation
Александр Колтаков congratulations, you just created another typical male who has a false sense of what a man is and help perpetuate that women can’t be strong. Honestly if your heart “bleeds out” only for your little girl and not your little boy you are such god awful father. And also, not every conscience man is gonna do the same, don’t lump all men with that garbage mind set
Me and my sister both go hunting with my dad from the age of 6 to 40. We meet up every month to hunt. Problem now is I have three freezers full of meat, my dad has two and my sister has two and we have no where to put future kills.
A little bit of guidance is key, but it's more about introducing them to different things, even things you wouldn't do or enjoy. Just give them a wide variety of activities to try out to help them build hobbies and find what they are interested in for a job later down the road, without pushing a specific path until they decide they enjoy that and want to spend time doing that, as long as it is positive anything is possible. Neil DeGrasse talks about his mom and what she did to introduce him to all sorts of topics, and he eventually fell in love with science while visiting the Hayden Planetarium, where he is now the director. Also he works as a researcher at the American Museum of Natural History as well, and his brother actually became an artist after visiting galleries and such. So point being, his parents brought them to all sorts of places, never pushing a specific narrative, and letting them find what interested them, whether it's museums, galleries, camping, the zoo/aquarium, etc. I think that is the best thing you could do for a kid. I don't have kids, but I wish I had the money to do things like that when I was younger
This was interesting. I’m not sure who the gentleman Joe is talking to here is but I think he illustrates an important point. People like to say they treat their children (Boys and girls) the same way. But they don’t. He said he’d sush his boy if he complained about being cold but not his daughter. A girl’s whining is allowed while a boys isn’t. My father was a carpenter and I spent a great deal of my childhood in the garage building things with him and doing Reno’s around the house, more so then my older brother did. I still love doing those things today and did a lot of the work around my house myself. And while I’ve never gone hunting I would be involved in slaughtering animals at my uncle’s farm and they processed the meat by hand and while I don’t like killing things, I will to eat. I do like the marksmanship behind shooting though; BB guns, handguns, rifles, archery. My parents didn’t allow me to whine about stupid things. They really clamped down on it and I think it made all the difference.
i think he treats them different because his son wants to be there, so if he complains he doesent like it. his duaghter is dragged along so he feels bad when she complains and is cold.
@@sireromen5364 Possibly. Or, like any other normal guy, he understands, that men, who whine and bitch a lot have no respect among women, and he sets him straight before boy is damaged for life...

I loved hunting when I was younger. One of the best memories of my life was hunting in a deer blind with my mom. Just the very best day. Two women sitting in a blind, laughing our asses off and still seeing deer. I am not sure it's cultural or not, but this is a very interesting topic.
I think it depends on where you are from. A lot of the girls I went to High School with and my daughter all like hunting and fishing. I did grow up in a small town in Texas.
There's nothing wrong with trying to connect with your kids through an activity you enjoy. In this case, with an activity that literally puts food on their table. As long as you're not overbearing with it, it is sometimes healthy to get your kids out of their comfort zones.
@@Charlie_Rowe nothing wrong with connecting but he said he's making her go because he doesn't believe she knows what she wants. School is one thing but hunting is a hobby if your children don't like it try other things but don't force them because you like something that's weird....
My dad has been hunting since he was a kid; my entire life, he's hunted and even guided hints professionally. My older sister loves to shoot bows competitively but doesn't have any interest in hunting. I'd hunt every week if I were able to; it's my absolute favorite thing to do. Being out in the mountains is the most peaceful place to be.
I agree. My mom was actually anti-hunter but supported what my dad and is kids wanted to do. Me and my brother are avid hunters. My sister doesn't enjoy hunting but likes the meat we bring home lol.

Honk World i was searching for a comment like this😂 Yeah. It’s kinda weird to treat your children that differently and expect the same result nonetheless...
being the youngest of seven brothers I feel like I can say with a degree of certainty that boys who want warmth and affection are outliers. Approval, yes. We want that, and that's why we go hunting when invited. But warmth? not so much.
@@dawhandaonli5925 I guess I am speaking from my experience as a father. I dont remember wanting warmth but I try to balance the sternness and discipline with warmth and reassurance.
Maybe some boys aren't allowed to complain because their fathers know the world will need MEN, not pussies. Look at what men have done for humanity; (hunting, protecting the tribe, taking more risk in general so women can nurture children), look at the % of workplace deaths by gender. Telling your son not to whine on a hunting trip isn't psychotic. There are kids who are actually abused by actual psychotic parents, dipshit.
Iunno, telling a boy to "suck it up, it's not gonna kill you" isn't what I would call psychotic. People need to stop throw around the word 'psychosis' for any behavior that's even remotely unfeeling, it's losing it's actual meaning. I feel an important context in that conversation was that he implied that he 'took her out for duck hunting', and not 'she joined him going duck hunting'. He didn't ask if she wanted to go, he brought her out there. So it made much more sense for him to feel guilty about her pain, than his son who was mentioned to be more enthusiastic about the trips.
I've been around a number of kids and I know that personal motivations can shift what a child would value rather quickly. I was never an outdoors kind of kid when I was younger but was still able to manage a decent 2 years. Those two years were a time where a step outside my original hobbies was necessary. For boys, the ability to maintain focus and motivation would most likely prefer hunting and fishing due to the types of skills that train. Whereas, a girl would rather work on arts and crafts as it teaches and trains a number of skills that would be valued outside of a particular hobby. The topic of culture does play a part. The difference between the two is what is valued at that point in time to the individual and what would be considered an effective solution rather than a past-time.
My husband is trying so hard to get our daughter to enjoy the outdoors (because he believes it will be good for her growth and mental health)- he’s bought her every bike under the sun, takes her fishing, canoeing, swimming but at the end of the day she prefers to sit and play with her dolls...kids will like what they like.
It's still a good idea for him to encourage that in her though. He's right that outdoor physical activity is good for mental health. And getting kids to step out of their comfort zones and try new things can boost their self confidence.
Let’s be real, the outdoor industry is doing the same thing that every other industry is...they’re sexualizing it. How many fishing videos can you see with a woman in a string bikini like that’s what you normally fish in.
I mean you’re not necessarily wrong in this case except for the fact that Rebecca Wolfe (the click bait) is one of the most prominent female figures in the “look at me; I’m hot and I hunt” genre and doesn’t use her clout to further education but just to get more followers on social media.
You'd like Norwegian girls then. Seems damn near every woman around here either hunts or at least goes hiking all the time. Doesn't hurt that they're pretty as well.
I remember fishing with my dad, he had minnows or worms so i would always pick the worms. As a kid I hated bugs, but I always thought why are we fishing, we have a bucket full of tiny fish right here lol
Both my parents were avid hunters and fishers. I HATED it when I was younger. Mostly because of what this guys daughter said of not wanting to wake up early and imo it was BORING beyond all belief. But when I reached 24 I had an interest in it and it was appealing to me. More so the fishing part now and I only like to hunt boar, Elk/Caribou, and Wolverines. This guy sounds to me like it's a lot of "I want". Take yourself out of the equation and stop trying to force it. If their not into it now maybe they'll come around later in life like I did.
My wife grew up on a farm and that was their idea of leisure whenever they had a chance, to go fishing swimming and eating so yeah it's a cultural thing most people nowadays think it's hard work. Lol
I just watched this episode. I have two daughters. My oldest wasn't very interested in hunting when she was younger. Her sister wanted to hunt from day one. Finally the oldest asked to go. I made it a point to never push her and now she enjoys it. The youngest is still very passionate about it. They love hunting together.
@@codyb1909 That's not a flaw. You shouldn't raise your boy to be a pussy because nobody has any sympathy for males. It's also pathetic for men to seek sympathy very much.
@American Pig-Dog Oh but it is a flaw. I'm not going to bother with the argument of it being "pathetic", nor am I going to talk about the cultural disposability of males, or the fact that perpetuating a problem doesn't solve it. Instead I want to ask why you think that it isn't a flaw because of that one angle? You assumed that the OP thinks he should treat his son differently, like the daughter. What if he should be treating his daughter more like the son and not "coddling" her? Hell, what about both..
They have the same thing in the motocross scene. Most girls just pose on a bike for Instagram but could care less about riding if it was just them and machine.

It's OBVIOUSLY biological. My dad is the most hardcore, successful hunter I've ever known or even heard of. I'm his only child and obviously he hoped I'd enjoy hunting... but I never did. I love shooting, but I'm not interested in killing a creature that hasn't done anything to me. I don't mind hunting, in general. I think it's great for other people, just not for me. If a hunting season on leftists ever becomes a thing, I'll be all about it, but killing animals isn't my thing (unless they're attacking me... I've killed a few roosters on my farm because they attacked me and my kids lol). It's not anecdotal when it's incredibly common. An anecdote becomes a statistically significant fact when it's super common.
The "just take the kid" idea is correct. My two older brothers and my Dad were all into golf, and I didn't care. But I also didn't fight going out and truly tried to "get the right mindset" for it working. For most of my childhood that was part of my life, and while at best only average, mostly I was unpredictable. But it got to where I did some on my own and was socially useful a couple of time. I have not golfed for years, wont pick it back up - and never would have started on my own. So take your kid hunting, fishing, golfing - whatever it is you do, Dad. The kid will thank you later for, among other things - taking all that time for years. That meant a lot to me then, and still does decades later.
its sad to watch an interview and be able to tell the interviewee is struggling not to trip over their own thoughts so they don't say something "inappropriate" that will get them canceled
Man, I'm the opposite. I love that people are thinking about what they're saying a bit more and putting things in the correct context. Yeah it's harder, but I think much more worthwhile. Not like they are avoiding the subject, they're just pinpointing exactly what they mean.

@@sabrinahwang8843 little boys and little girls usually (not always) react differently in situations. I have both. My daughter is more courageous when it comes to roller coasters and other stuff, but my son is braver when it comes to confrontation, extreme sports etc. His daughter probably does, so he has to navigate differently.
He literally says “my daughter crying made me feel awful. It that was my boy I would have been like ‘sssh’”. Pretty obvious he treats them differently.
I have four daughters, ALL of them refuse to hunt, kinda enjoy the outdoors, but LOVE to shoot! I imagine due to my career in law enforcement, and my passion for keeping my family safe, I was very hands on with gun safety and handling from an extremely young age, generally about 5 or 6 years old is when I would really start practically introducing them to firearms. At first, it was to understand what it was and showed them what it could do and explain and educate the function and operation of all the firearms I had. As they grew older I would let them have pellet and BB guns to shoot out in our forested area and by at about 8yo at the youngest 10yo at the oldest, I'd let them experience a .22 rifle. So I had a house at one time with 5 females (one being my wife) between the ages of 12 and 40, that could proficiently & safely handle a firearm, and provide for their own self-defense if god forbid the need ever arose. My oldest got married recently and she refused to attend her own ceremony if she couldn't carry her concealed firearm at the venue, her soon to be husband even got her a custom little thigh (garter) holster for the occasion. I don't know if she was serious or being her little sarcastic, dry humor self about it but I couldn't help but laugh with a small tear in my eye, lol! I only ever wanted them to know how to safely operate and render a firearm safe and clear IF they ever had too, THEY each themselves asked to shoot once and they each loved doing it ever since and I never pressured them one way or the other save for knowing how to shoot in case they ever had to. As a side note, I constantly got grief and dirty looks from all kinds of people, even 2A supporters and gun nuts and of course people that just don't like guns; but most of the grief I got was the fact that they were girls. One person even told me it was my job to protect my family and they shouldn't have to, to that I said I am only one person and not invincible or immortal all it takes is one shot and then i'm down or dead and my family is toast, at least if my kids know what to do even if I die there's a much greater chance my family could be safe. My girls may have tried to enjoy them because they were of course all daddies girls and maybe thought it would make daddy happy if they enjoyed something he enjoyed, idk, but they have regular trips both together and alone just to go shoot and sometimes they don't even let me know so I know they have to at least enjoy it somewhat.
You can not put much weight on the 90% of male buy licenses statement... I would bet of the 10% left, most are wife’s buying tags for the husband to fill.
I was raised in S Wisconsin and N Illinois... I know plenty of guys that carried their wife’s, daughters, and even mother in laws tags... it was all about freezer fill.
@@darkapothecary4116 no they wouldnt. I have heard stories of old wise geezers, going out in the woods, without a gun, and coming back with a small buck.
Speaking of tags... That shit pisses me off.. Multiple Deer get hit by cars, and yet we have a limit on how many to kill? It's bullshit if I'm being honest.
Some people are just out of touch with the nature of real foods. Venison is one of the few cleaner meats not prekilled for people that are to scared to kill their own food. They eat that burger well but how many do you know would actually want to kill and butcher their own food? But as for kids most think corn came out of a can and not on a cob type shit. Lol I had to deal with a person's child crying once because they seen me cleaning a skull and in fact it was a boy. Nothing to do with gender just personal likes and dislikes.
Some of my favorite childhood memories are being in a duck blind with my dad, brother, my dad's friend, and the dogs. Get her some wool socks, bring a thermos of cocoa and tell her to chill the dramatics. 🤣
I liked hunting more than my brother, I still go with my dad and my kids love it too, my daughter loves it and I love watching my dad teach her things. She loves to get out there and go walking around looking for deer signs and seeing where the herds have made trails...she loves it. My dad has early onset dementia and he is still sharp as a tack in the woods right now so I am encouraging my kids to learn all they can from him now.
I was with my mom the first time she shot a deer. It was amazing and heartbreaking too. Since then she has become one of the most succesful hunters in our gang of 30 men and her. She is a practical, sustenance hunter, certainly not an instagrammer. I have great respect for her.
when we were younger, my younger sister was more into the outdoor stuff like hunting and fishing, but as i’ve gotten more into firearms i have a much stronger desire to hunt, so it’s probably equally nature and nurture
My girlfriend was raised by her dad, a 3rd generation duck hunter, and I'll tell you she loves to duck hunt. Also, she goes hunting to relive the memories she once shared with her late father who passed on their duck lease in 2016. Her Facebook only contains 2 photos of her duck hunting, which were special memories she wanted to share, for instance her first duck she shot hunting by herself after her father passed and her first limit of ducks and several geese she shot on her own hunting by herself. That's it! She is a girly girl who does not hunt for attention or fame, but simply hunts because that's what she did to spend time with her dad. I had no idea she hunted until a couple weeks after we met in 2017, she keeps her hunting lifestyle close and private to herself and family. We both enjoy hunting together, whether we shoot ducks or not. She is 100% genuine about hunting and is not afraid to paddle a kayak 2 miles to a pond on public land like we did this morning.
When I turned 16, I was at the DMV to get my drivers license. Could not wait! Freedom, cruisin' for girls, not having to take the buss to school, not having my mom drive me to the mall...but my sons just don't give two shits about driving. The same enthusiasm I had, my sons just don't have. And I see it more and more. And daughters are even more opposite their mothers. The "dream" for me and my wife was to get a good job, buy a house, raise a family, two cars in the driveway, two weeks of vacation to see the worlds largest ball of twine in Duluth Minnesota and Disney World. My kids could care less about that stuff. Weird.
Times change dude. I just don't understand why every generation of parents are full of clueless people who lose any grip of understanding the world when they become parents. Of course your kids care about stuff, just different, new things.
I have heard that as well about the younger generation not caring about driving. Its pretty sad IMO. They can have fake relationships on their phones so they dont want to go out and and have real relationships around town.
Hmmm, I hunted for years but not till after I left the house cuz it wasn't a girl thing to do. So when I got out on my own I could define what I wanted to do. This was before instagram so I have no pictures and I didn't wear camos. I did however carry a pistol as I was out looking for scrapes, rubs, and trails alone in case I bumped into an unsavory individual in the middle of the woods. I'm old now so this year I gave my hunting rifle to a neighbor girl(well really to her parents to control it's use). She hunts bunnies and squirrel, cleans them, cooks them. This year was her first deer hunt. But she is all girly girl. Reason that one! I totally understand her.
I have a 13 year old in a ten-year-old son and my ten-year-old is much more of a hunter than my thirteen-year-old... But my 13-year old is an excellent fisherman. We I had been watching this 11 point buck for about a yearand my ten-year-old had figured out his path that he was taking and his brother told him that he could watch it all he wanted but he would never kill it and my ten-year-old said if I kill it your gutting it and dragging it out of the woods.the next morning we got up and not even 15 minutes after we got in the woods my ten-year-old got a neck shot and needless to say my thirteen-year-old son had to humble himselfand he actually apologized and gutted and drag it out of the woods but my ten-year-old helped him lol. That's what it's all about its an excellent memory!!!🤔🤣
The two female hunters I personally know are in their 50's and are extremely AVID hunters. AND have been for 30 years. My son and daughter were raised pretty much 5 feet apart from each other. Hunting, Fishing, Shooting, Archery, Dirt Bikes, you name it. When my daughter hit about 10 she got girl friends and it all stopped. My son is still into all of that.
Wow. I literally can't find one guy I can stand hunting with, I've had guys say they love hunting, I take em hunting with me and everytime they bitch, take a nap, wanna go home, and just ruin my hunting experience. I get up at 3 in the morning, hike up the mountain for 2 to 3 miles. If I get something I pack it out on my own, no horses, no whining man either, I leave my bf home. I take it home butcher it myself. I was raised on hunting. Now I'm a manager for fish and game. Cultural no, do I wanna be a man haha no. I have a passion for outdoors that's it. But guys give me a lot of positive feedback, for being a woman and hunting how I do, it's a lot of work.
my daughter (26) spent over 200 dollars on hunting permits(tags) this year. she has liked hunting since I first took her out on a hunt. but we only had to get up early and walk across the road and into the forest to go. she is also into the 'vulture culture' so collects and paints skulls . I do have to admit that she is an only child and I was a single dad, so 'tomboy' is an understated description.

Fun story: Here in Sweden where I recently started my hunting "career", the only kids I've seen that have followed their parents out on the moose/boar hunts have been small girls. In these cases, they didnt have boys I think, but still its kinda funny that all kids Ive seen hanging around hunts or in the slaughterhouse etc have been little girls in pink camo.
not that men are innocent to this as well, but this is very true. Women love to cry for sympathy. If they are ever losing an argument, they lots of times will begin to act confused and cry to get you off their back (manipulation )
They both seem surprised that a small cohort of women would gravitate toward an activity where they're sure to find lots of active, successful single dudes.
Then why the others women did not do that? That would be a good way to select some good man, but despite this fact other women tend to their yoga classes or latino dance classes. I suppose that there are just some kind of gender orientation that can not be ignored when it comes to select hobbies and activities.
Carefully pick those opportunites to bring your kids hunting. Focus on their comfort and making it as much fun as possible. Success with a kid during the hunt is not about the harvest. It's about spending time together in the outdoors. When I stopped focusing on the quarry and started focusing on their experience then you will find success in both. I let my kids bring their electronics, coloring books, crayons. We watch movies in the blind. Drink lots of hot chocolate and eat lots of junk food. I don't do early morning hunts with my young ones. Late morning turkey hunts. Evening sits on a field during deer season. I found that it was less about getting them into hunting and more about making a good positive memory with them. I truly believe that's the best approach to creating a love for the outdoors. Even if they walk away from hunting and fishing for a while during high school/college, I think at some point they will come back as long as those early experiences are positive.
So where i worked before the kung flu hit, there was a secretary. She is as pretty as the thumbnail chick, married with kids and a hunter. She wasnt faking it for attention either. At the company christmas party she started talking hunting with us guys and i got a whole new respect for her. Some guys really do get it all.

My son was a natural hunter. My daughter hates hunting, but she loves butchering.

Whoa!!!
The fuck! I want to see this!

He is a professional hunter, conservationist and has a tv show called "Meat Eater". Its on netflix now.

I guess I am speaking from my experience as a father.

So true!
Just like the video game industry got sexualized
Joe"thumbnail clickbait" Rogan
I mean you’re not necessarily wrong in this case except for the fact that Rebecca Wolfe (the click bait) is one of the most prominent female figures in the “look at me; I’m hot and I hunt” genre and doesn’t use her clout to further education but just to get more followers on social media.
Steve Rinella's meat eater show is my favorite on Netflix right now. A girl who wants to go fishing and hunting is by far the sexiest thing to me.
You'd like Norwegian girls then. Seems damn near every woman around here either hunts or at least goes hiking all the time. Doesn't hurt that they're pretty as well.
My youngest girl keeps saying Daad when are we going hunting
Can we go now.
Yeah. Kids need vital sleep, their bodies know what they need!
My wife hunts and fishes probably more then I want to. She wants to go out every day and I cant do it. So she goes out on her own.
Bullshit. I'm calling it
My wife grew up on a farm and that was their idea of leisure whenever they had a chance, to go fishing swimming and eating so yeah it's a cultural thing most people nowadays think it's hard work.

He didn't react differently he was just expressing his thoughts. He is analyzing his flaws that he learned from the culture of America.
When you cant even quote someone properly🤣🤣 he said his attitude would be different not his actions
@@codyb1909 That's not a flaw. You shouldn't raise your boy to be a pussy because nobody has any sympathy for males. It's also pathetic for men to seek sympathy very much.
@American Pig-Dog
Oh but it is a flaw.
Most girls just pose on a bike for Instagram but could care less about riding if it was just them and machine.

the thumbnail is the kind of Rack I`m hunting for.
Thank you for this :)
Hunting season on leftists 😂 all of the south would be seen buying top notch gear if that were to ever happen
My older brother was never interested when my dad would work on cars but I would jump for joy at the chance of joining him.
Joe “Jamie & I were just talking about this yesterday” Rogan
Steve's daughter story is so wholesome. Love to love hearing Steve tell tales. He seems like a very humble person
lol, maybe some women like hunting AND attention
Female lions are the hunters, and they the top of the food chain. I dig it.
575forza - male lions are really piss poor hunter, they rely on the female to bring home the bacon, the Lion mane gives them away, makes them pointless as a hunter.

I hunt and shoot, my daughter...nope. she loves to shoot and is very good at it.

My now ex wife was an avid hunter. My daughters and granddaughter love fishing.
Sounds like a great lady. Probably patient.

Female hunters aren’t reading Internet comment sections.
show your daughter video's of Hannah Barron, she might get some motivation from it. Can't hurt
My daughter showed far more interest in going to the shooting range, and more curious about hunting and cleaning the kill, than my son.
One exception doesn't make the rule. Still, over 90% of hunting tags are bought by men.
when we were younger, my younger sister was more into the outdoor stuff like hunting and fishing, but as i’ve gotten more into firearms i have a much stronger desire to hunt, so it’s probably equally nature and nurture
Weird.
It's the phones man. Kids these are just glued to it.
But guys give me a lot of positive feedback, for being a woman and hunting how I do, it's a lot of work.

my daughter (26) spent over 200 dollars on hunting permits(tags) this year. she has liked hunting since I first took her out on a hunt. but we only had to get up early and walk across the road and into the forest to go. she is also into the 'vulture culture' so collects and paints skulls . dont let your daughter cry about stuff that isn't worth crying about, then they learn how to use emotions to manipulate men lol
Superb deduction there man, that makes so much sense!!!
not that men are innocent to this as well, but this is very true.
