- It took Aaftab Poonawala 10 hours to chop the body of his live-in partner Shraddha Walkar into 35 pieces after he strangled her. And in between carrying out the grisly act, Aaftab took “breaks” and drank beer, smoked cigarettes, and ordered food, according to sources.
The details of the horrific murder in Delhi keep getting more and more chilling. Aaftab, who strangled Shraddha in the apartment that the two shared, was very cold and calculative in the aftermath as he concocted ways to get rid of evidence.

While you have a point there , parents raising a child they brought into this world is not 'dedication'. It's their job. That she chose to go no contact with these parents says something. People who end up in toxic relationships and don't figure out how to leave often come from toxic families. Her father knew he had been beating her. Did he go to Delhi and try to bring her back? Did he file a missing person complaint when she disappeared from Mumbai ? This monster got the nerve to keep her trapped because he knew her family didn't want much to do with her once they realised she wanted to be in a live in relationship with somebody they didn't approve of. It's a lesson for parents, if you don't like your daughter's boyfriend and if you can't talk her out of it, all the more reason to stay *close* to her even if it means playing along . Your kids' safety should matter to you more than what society would think of you if you approved of your daughter's relationship out of wedlock.
Aftab's parents fled from their old living house just before a month or so, as per the reports.. This means, that they got to know it! That their fellow has killed her, and that now it will be exposed soon, so to avoid all the consequences, they just fled! They are part of this murder too, as they kept influencing shraddha to stay with him despite his cruelty! And they got her killed by persuading her to stay!

Totally surprised to see this news from November 2022. I didnt keep in touch with the news.. wow. so much has happened.. I had no idea after watching one video yesterday about the Drugs angle to the case.. quite likely that Ms. Walkar knew about inner details of the Drugs racket or was gathering evidence, and those friends of Aftab who dealt with Drugs with him, may have suggested or forced him to commit such a grave crime. He wasn't alone in this.. he was provoked to get rid of her.. she was not leaving him despite all financial independence.. that is a big clue to either she under some bigger threat or more possessive love she had for him. I see no reason a girl with money wud not leave a man as useless as he was (according to the reports). She was definitely getting something out of him - threat, love, sex, fun, support - whatever you call it.
Them going to Uttarakhand also leads to more angles to this case.. easier wud have been to bring over those girls Aftab dated so often via Bumble app even after being in a relationship. These apps and software leave many trails to all the online behaviors. Bring those girls for the inquiry (am sure police already did that). They can easily tell what kind of guy he was, how much Hindi he spoke, or any other clues abt him. If he was so smart to not leave a trail with his dates, he wud have been doing better thing with his life than kill a girl so harshly and ruin his life totally. Like Godwin said, Aftab's father should not be let off the hook. Aftab would have seen his dad abuse his mom and his psycho leanings must have started from there. So, the cops should do a narco test on his father too.

Shradha and aaftab were in relationship, initially they're enjoying the HUGE money they got selling off drugs while they're drugg addict themselves and this was reason why aaftab was abusive.
Their relationship got to a point where she kept her trust in him but might have issues with him being drug addict which aaftab felt like she is dominating her or changing his will and which led to fights and insecurity develop into them.
And one horrific night when they fought and aaftab in fit of rage and anger hit her or choked her.
Later when drug effect got lesser and reality kicked in his basic instinct of saving himself from consequences. He went on to internet to search modus operandi of past criminal acts where criminals could get rid of system.
He was almost successful as he murdered her in May and this crime surfaced only in Nov.
Otherwise we would still be wondering where Shraddha is.

It's b'coz if I was in this guy's place, I would have done differently by informing the local police abt the situation that sister Shraddha faced without revealing my name n by doing so, I think, the murder could've been avoided. This Aftab or whatever his name is could have been arrested for allegedly assaulting a young woman n domestic violence. Don't u think a good friend would have done that for his friend's safety. Totally surprised to see this news from November 2022. I didnt keep in touch with the news.. wow. so much has happened.. I had no idea after watching one video yesterday about the Drugs angle to the case.. quite likely that Ms. Walkar knew about inner details of the Drugs racket or was gathering evidence, and those friends of Aftab who dealt with Drugs with him, may have suggested or forced him to commit such a grave crime. He wasn't alone in this.. he was provoked to get rid of her.. she was not leaving him despite all financial independence.. that is a big clue to either she under some bigger threat or more possessive love she had for him. I see no reason a girl with money wud not leave a man as useless as he was (according to the reports). She was definitely getting something out of him - threat, love, sex, fun, support - whatever you call it.
Them going to Uttarakhand also leads to more angles to this case.. easier wud have been to bring over those girls Aftab dated so often via Bumble app even after being in a relationship. These apps and software leave many trails to all the online behaviors. Bring those girls for the inquiry (am sure police already did that). They can easily tell what kind of guy he was, how much Hindi he spoke, or any other clues abt him. If he was so smart to not leave a trail with his dates, he wud have been doing better thing with his life than kill a girl so harshly and ruin his life totally.
