This is one of the best reviews who described this perfume exactly how it is. It does not last at all on my skin and its exactly a skin scent. Dont understand how so many people say its long lasting. Lisptick scent only lasts a little and fades away.
Please keep in mind that although we happen to experience this perfume quite similar, every one smells slightly differently.

I just love your perfume shelves, such a lovely set up. Lipsticky scents are my absolute favourite... I have to get my hands on this one 😍
I surprisingly like this one, as I am not a fan of jhug's other scents ( though I think Lady Vengeance is fun). For me, i the ambroxan was "boozy", and I liked that it isn't a gourmand berry fragrance, the dry down was powdery for me, and gave me a scent memory of Grandma's house and her cosmetics, fragrance etc, not a strictly "lipstick" smell for me, but I do like it. I don't mind that it is light, it is just the right amount for me! :)
Sometimes less is more, I also thought maybe that's just an issue with my skin. Ambroxan-boozy? Interesting! I'll wear it again
@@Tommelise I agree, less is more ( though at the moment I am wearing a very strong fragrance! He he). My "Lipstick Fever" arrived last week, and I have worn it three times ( very easy and wearable for work and day). Hmmm.. those quizzical boozey top notes ( maybe that is just my nose), reminded me for few seconds of Chanel's Misia, then its lipstick Fever all over again! Enjoyed your review. :-):-)
Hmm, I have an impression it moulds into Atelier Cologne Vanille Insensee after 5 min and stays the same for an eternity. Sadly I didn’t find that lipstick note that I was searching for in this release😳 for now I put it away , far away, maybe we’ll become friends in autumn🤷🏼♀️
I love it!! Not at all masculine! Intense, smells cold, powderey, night time, long lasting, sexy, deep but not so sweet!♥️🥳 loved it! It’s stayed on my top till 2 days!!!! The people around smell it all the time😂 but not yourself- bold lipstick

I got mine last week. And I like it a lot, but I must agree it's no beast as far as performance and the dark deeds mentioned in the promotional materials go. Although I see what you mean by unisex vibes, I find this perfume very feminine.
When you open your make up bag and sniff it - to me it smells like this, when you juggle through your powders, lipsticks and pencils

Wow first comment! Lipstick fever is my day scent. I always spray 20 times since it doesn't have good projection as you said. But my fave lipstick-ish perfume is Lipstick Rose by Frederic Malle. I'm hooked with this perfume!

@@Tommelise you should get a tester of lipstick rose and probably you could make a comparison between Lipstick On, Lipstick fever and Lipstick rose. :) :).

How does it compare to Lipstick On? Are they at all similar? I love lipstick scents but I do not usually like unisex scents.
Oh they are different. To me lipstick on (I have it) is heavy, dusty and very lipsticky iris when this one is on the berry-ambroxany side
I hope that the ambroxan is synthetic and does not come from the whaling industry. I love lipstick perfumes they remind me of my grandmother. A good one is Roberto Cavalli's Tiger Oud.
Have you tried JHAG Anyway? Another reviewer gave it high marks but I trust your opinion a bit more. Thanks and great outfit!

I blind bought this because I fell hard for “Lipstick On.” But, I’m so late to the party that everyone has gone home. What is your favorite lipstick fragrance (other than Lipstick Rose)?

After testing quite a few from the brand over a number of years, I think I've come to the conclusion that I'm not a fan of their stuff. Maybe because I'm a guy and their fragrances don't really cater to my taste, but that's just how I feel. Then again....if they come out with an herbacious and smoky leather-vetiver, I'll be right back on board. 😂 Red suits you Yana. 😉
