    About the test kit:
    JIFETOR Oil Pressure Tester Kit, Professional Engine Diagnostic Test, 100PSI Pressure Gauge Tool with Hose Adapter for Truck Car ATV
    OIL PRESSURE TEST AND DIAGNOSTIC: JIFETOR engine oil pressure tester kit is used for measuring oil pressure on lubrication system quickly and accurately. The gauge readings assist to diagnose if there are following problems: blocking oil strainer or oil filter, broken pressure-limiting valve spring, poorly working oil pump, low/high oil viscosity, blocking lubrication oil channel, blocking oil filter core and by-pass valve is difficult to open etc.

    Testing oil pressure is pretty easy to do as long as you can get to the sensor. Test kits are pretty cheap ( amzn.to/3rGv6k6 ). Once you find out your true oil pressure, you can start troubleshooting the real issue. Hope this helps. Like and Subscribe! Thanks.

    That's a good overview of how to test oil pressure on a diesel engine.

    First thing I said to myself was get rid of that orange filter. Everywhere says fram is junk. I hope that’s all your problems

      Thanks, I hope so. And I agree, I am not a FRAM fan but I had a hard time finding the Motorcraft filter at the time. I have some now and am going to change it this week. I hope that is all it is, but I feel its probably the by-pass valve.

    I have heard you can do a 50% diesel mix with the oil and use it as a flush. Run it for a little while to let it get hot and then drain it. That suppose to help remove sludge and blockages. Don't blame me though if you try it and something goes wrong.

      Yeah, I have been thinking about a flush. I have a new video coming online that is the part 2 to this.

    I was thinking it was the sensor. Those sensors go bad as much or more than the actual oil pressure issues happen.

      I was so hoping it was that. No luck for me.

    Were you able to get your oil pressure down? If so, what was it?

      I have not been able to yet. New video coming online soon.

    Did you figure out senor problem

      @SeidelRanch  Před 5 měsíci

      No. I have plans to drop the oil pan and see what I find. I will update when I do.

  • @tinnedanger

    Yep. The higher pressure looks like a crap filter. The first thing to replace.

      @SeidelRanch  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Sadly, I replaced the filter and it had no affect. I plan to pull the oil pan and check the screens next, but I have to get the time to do that.
