- In March 2024 we head to La Plagne, France, for our very first ski trip. 1 of us had never seen snow before. 4 of us had never skied before. 2 of us were pros.

The total cost for this trip was €1980 P.P. This included all transport (flights and transfers), groceries, eating out 3 times, ski gear bought, ski gear hired, 4 private lessons, ski pass - for a week!

No idea of the relevancy of Marina Ambrovic :) There are ways to make these trips cheaper (specifically accommodation), but I think the cost was reasonable for everything it included. Nobody ever said skiing is a cheap activity/holiday. Groceries were nearly double the cost of Amsterdam so even self-catering was pricey AF for food.
