Singapore is hosting again Shangri-La dialogue to show a simple fact, all these warriors and fighters from great nations can always sit down, chat with each other, have a civil dialouge , have some vintage wine and local delicacies, come to a full understanding of each other without the need to kill each other, each can be civilized without resort war to solve differences while at the same time can keep your greatness intact.

Having a place for dialogue is far far better without one. Certainly this platform indirectly acknowledge that there is kind of solution available rather than act on impulse. We have seen how united nations being established for quite awhile, their performance is below expectations, take for example Ukraine vs Russia or Israel vs Gaza. Hopely this organisation will not suffer the same fate. Is it true that whether united nations or this dialogue sessions are inclined more to the western countries or dictate by some special forces is still perhaps it is just a feel?. Could we say that "no spark no fire". Peace is definitely the wish of human races in this world and if that is the prime and purely the agenda then it is a thank you to all the "gentlemen" attending this dialogue.

The IISS, being a brit think-tank is clearly biased and leans towards its Western interests. One would question the rationale of inviting President Marcos Jr to give the keynote address at this year Shangri-La Dialogue, knowing very well that he will use this platform to further spread the Philippines and the US misinformation propaganda and strategy to further smear China's image amongst international delegates and press at the event. Then, there's Zelensky... the US endosed puppet President being given a second opportunity to address the delegates and press to further rally supports for his cause. Why not invite a Russian official this year for the same opportunity to clarify Russia's stand? That's clearly lopsided and hypocritical of the IISS, in my opinion.

the Shangri-La Dialogue has become one of the most important independent forums for the exchange of views by international security policy decision-makers.
Outside of Ukraine and Russia, the war also continues to have a major effect on the global markets and food supply.
