I remember watching MMA the first time since UFC 11 and this KO ranks above my favorite of all time. The last second KO. Highest bonus earnings out of a spontaneous Q&A. 2 of the most Warrior spirited fighters in the promotion… Going out of their shields after the greatest non verbal agreement in a fight… And if it was the other way around Gaethje wouldve gave Max the same opportunity. This is by far my favorite KO of combat sports to date!

Honestly it might be the no 1 ko of all time. The Leon argument is fair though because Leon was going to lose the fight. Max was up 4 rounds.
Wonderboy and MVP are friends they have both said they wont fight each other.

lol I watched all the fight reactions for these fights as well as what you have listed. Holloway is just another level. I even jumped up and I never do that. Only thing that arguably comes close to this "Oh shit" moment is the Anderson submission in the last seconds of the fight against Chael but that isn't a KO obviously. Izzy's was better than what you listed as top 3. It comes down to what your opinion is though and it is a cracker list.

These come to mind instantly. Def missing about 3-5 major ones. Too hard to pick a top 5 under one single list, can't compare Buckley's kick to Conor Aldo, for example. The former is an insane, unprecedented, incredibly unique KO while Conor's left hook is a simple shot but in a championship fight that carries heavy historical significance (same with Holly's headkick, 2 strikes that literally changed the course of the UFC)
That being said, Max's 300 KO gotta be in my top 2-3 lol recency bias be damned. I'll remember that moment till UFC 1000 in 2080

I don't get what is special about Max's UFC 300 knockout. Both guys were at the last 10 seconds and decided to throw down. 1 of them hit the shot. That's it? No skill or whatsoever involved.. one of them hit the shot randomly.
Have you ever watched a real fight before? Genuinely asking, it really seems like you haven’t, the amount of skill in that fight is absurd.
They weren’t JUST swinging in they are flowing in the chaos max flowed with every moved dodged every lethal punch and delivered a picture perfect KO in the very last second. Buzzer beater KO

@@DavidHernandez-dc5mb The last 10 seconds they were Just swinging. They are trained athletes.. but they were swinging. Which means dodging while throwing punches. One of them got caught.. end of story. Nothing special.
It's more of what max was putting at stake more than the KO itself. The KO by itself wasn't the greatest, I get that point.
