Robbie doesn't even have anything to lose in this fight, he's already done everything in the sport and pulled off classics that introduced many fans to the sport.
Not much more he could do to prove that good at this point in his career, he was a champion, he had epic fights, hes had losing streaks, so at the end of the day who will he be remembered as?

I miss the old UFC days when their was so many reckless brawlers, but I understand the sport advances and health is also wealth.
Atleast you recognize that. So many people are stuck in the past and seem to fail to understand that the sport *needs* to progress. The good thing about it is since reckless brawls are more rare these days it feels like a treat when we witness them.

Why do people act like Robbie was a reckless brawler, first of all he was one of the better boxers in MMA and one of the few MMA fighters with good defense in the pocket, second of all he sometimes took entire rounds off with barely any punches thrown to get a rest and reads. Prime champ Lawler was patient.

I think his pain can be traced back from the death of his girlfriend. He carries so much rage and I could relate in a way. That's the difference between him and nate. Nate is more stoic in his own chaotic way.

If you're speaking of Lawler's mindset agreed comes with becoming an adult male - Nick seems to be packing old resentments like a 50yo used up housewife with a boatload of baggage - I couldn't even get through Nick's whole interview with Brett - the whining just turns my stomach. Got another shot on a big stage and Nick uses it to whine about the past, Seems to just defeat the purpose of the opportunity - From 209 chip on the shoulder OG to whining drama queen simply diminishes the legacy, tough to see

After watching Diaz interview I really hope Diaz shows up.
I think Diaz will show up. It's his personality to hate what he is doing. He is the anarchy. He is the the rebellion. He is being honest. I don't think he hates fighting as much as he hates he limited his options to fighting. Kind of like everyone who had other dreams and goals but went to work every day and did the job.
