McGregor demands are more impressive than his victories to me, a fighter who knows his worth is managements worst nightmare. Other fighters may not realize this but when he makes these demands he's actually helping them out. His labor negotiations will change the UFC long after he retires.

And you're right no one has done it but that surely doesn't mean they can't... I see Jon Jones being able to do it, Dominic cruz, Demetrius Johnson, tony ferguson all of them have good potential to do it but not all have the ability to pick who they want to fight next. If they did everybody would be doing better in ufc.

PPV Share from 202 was about: $11.5 million or about 7$ per PPV (some think that he makes about 10$ per PPV). Disclosed Fight purse was $3 million. Reebok Sponsorship money: $250.000.Fight of the night bonus: $50.000. Show money for his Vegas afterparty: $250.000 estimated. + add some undisclosed bonuses for breaking PPV record, and he is very close to 20 million. This fight he probably breezed past 20 million easy.

***** in what sense?! If he wants he can buy shares like anyone else who can afford to can buy shares!! but he's never going to be anywhere even remotely close to a major share holder in the company!! He cannot afford to buy anywhere near a major share! The company is worth 4billion and rising!! Even before him it was going up, admittedly not as quickly but still going up and it will after him, the same happens in every era of every sport you always say there will be no other but there is always another, usually quicker in this sport than others also.
Lets say he loses to Khabib and then again in another re-match to Diaz and he has no titles and he's 2/5 in his last 5 all very possible... This sport is like no other in the sense the downfall is very very quick no matter how high you are.
The people who just bought the company are very serious business men and they know what they are doing, so to suggest they will meet in the middle is crazy, they will meet where they want as will Conor, thats the way it should be! He is a successful and valued employee who will make more than other employees do, thats it, because they have A LOT more other employees who combined are more valuable than just one, they have to remain business men and use there heads in the LONG run.

2 PPV fights= 25% of UFC PPV Sales in 2015
    2016:
    3 fights= 50-65% of UFC PPV Sales in 2016.
Now imagine the numbers for Conor in 2017 if Ronda Rousey loses in December.
If he was a boxer with those numbers, he probably would've made at least $200 million by now.
Realistically, I think Conor and the UFC will negotiate at least 50-60% PPV profits per fight along with other perks so that he makes at least around $50 million per fight. And if he's fighting 3 times a year like he is, he can look to make 200 mill yearly for the next 3-5 years, maybe even more. Most likely scenario ATM.

Anyone else come here after conor broke his leg? His movement his speed and they way he fought was so awesome to watch those days. I feel like him leaving mma for 18 months after training for boxing ruined him. His gas tank against khabib was super impressive tho. Wish he would of fought khabib 3 or 4 months after this fight. Wonder if he could of caught khabib early. I feel like khabib just kept getting better all the way up thru til his last fight. Who knows how close the fight would of been if prime mcgregor fought him cuz khabib ran from him on the feet early and never had done that against anyone before conor or after. He def was scared of conors stand up at the start of the fight. Or imagine even conor and Tony fighting at that time. Tony was an animal. Just sucks we missed it

Congratulations to McGregor on the win and on being the first UFC two division champion. I've NEVER been a fan of Conor, but I have to admit that he deserves tons of credit for what he accomplished at the 205 event. It'd be awesme if he was being serious about moving up in weight divisions. He is a very lanky fighter with power in his strikes, especially if he is able to condition himself to that weight division.

What happened: Vacated/Stripped both belts and left to go boxing, loses, comes back in 2018, and absolutely gets out of character for the sport, outside octagon law issues, doesn't train properly for Khabib and gets humbled. "Retires" for a second time cuz of no shares, and comes back to fight a 36 year old cowboy, retires for the 4th time, comes back in 2020 and loses to Dustin. Now he is on the brink of his career, and its a must win. I get it, reach your goals, get rich and leave, but imagine if this man never left after 2016, and defended his belts. While he was gone everyone developed and got better. I hope he realizes, that its make or break for him. I watch this video all the time and just wish things didnt turn out the way it did once he left.
