Nice video again Jeroen! I used to go to that beach on holidays when I was a kid (my dad was born in that area). I must say I am astounded by the amount of light coming from Zoutelande and (probably?) Zeebrugge. And I don't remember all those red lights at sea. Probably the wind turbines of Windpark Borssele (according to openstreetmaps).
Thanks Martin! Still a beautiful area I think. The wind turbines at sea (the red lights) are ugly according to many people but I do think they add a little color and extra interest somehow. The lightpollution to the right is a bit exaggerated because of stretching the sky data.

Nice video and beautiful trip. Is the lighthouse so well lit by the light of the other lighthouse or is it a simple long exposure?
Thank you! It is both actually. As you can see in the video, the lighthouse is lit by another lighthouse behind it. I actually didn't like that at all, but we work with what we get right? ;-). It was also a long exposure, the same as for the sky.
Wow wat een geweldig resultaat! Door je videos heb ik afgelopen week ook pogingen gedaan om de melkweg te fotograferen, maar ik zit met een probleem waar ik niet helemaal uitkom. Hopelijk heb je een advies. In jouw foto's zie je namelijk heel duidelijk de melkweg, in mijne bijna niet. Ik heb wel aardig wat licht vervuiling in m'n shot zitten, maar ook met de camera omhoog gericht was het totaal niet zoals bij jou. Ook met stacked shots kreeg ik niet het resultaat waar ik op hoopte, ik vond het juist slechter eruit zien. Deze stacked shots waren wel met een Tripod zonder een tracker.
Na het zien van deze video vraag ik me af of het misschien aan de tijd lag, ik had de foto's namelijk rond 18:30 geschoten en jullie namen ze eerder rond 21:00. Zou dit het een groot verschil in resultaat gemaakt kunnen hebben?
Tof dat je ook een poging hebt gewaagd! In deze tijd van het jaar is het felste deel van de melkweg niet te fotograferen. Met name het deel rond Cygnus in Noord-West/West is vanaf een uur of 19:00 nog wel mooi te doen. Daarvoor heb je echter wel vrij donkere luchten nodig. Dat is de reden dat wij rond deze tijd vaak richting West over zee schieten, de donkerte in. Zoals je ziet in mijn raw bestanden is er daarna ook nog heel wat nabewerking overheen gegaan. Stacken vanaf een statief zou ook zonder tracker trouwens heel goed moeten kunnen voor dit deel van de melkweg. Het deel recht omhoog (rond Cassiopeia) waar je het over hebt is echter nog minder fel en heel lastig vast te leggen. Nog even en de melkweg kern komt weer boven de horizon uit heel vroeg in de ochtend!
@@StarScaperPhoto bedankt voor je heldere uitleg. Ik denk dat het dan een combinatie is van te veel licht vervuiling, te vroeg en een minder goede tijd van het jaar. Welk stacking programma zou je aanraden? En maak je ook dark/flat frames of laat je deze zitten?
@ManexFX als je PC gebruikt kun je Sequator pakken. Bij Mac heb je Starry Landscape Stacker.
En oh, darks, flats en bias shots doe ik bij nightscapes eigenlijk nooit (meer).
