- In this nightscape photography adventure I set out to the Dutch coast to photograph the Zodiacal light. It is a faint glow of interplanetary dust, reflected by the sun along the line of the ecliptic. We also try to photography star reflections, Orion setting into the sea, the winter milky way and comet Pons Brooks.

It’s always a great evening when there’s a Starscaper video to watch! Fantastic video, Jeroen. Beautiful shots all round and a fitting farewell to Orion for the season. Great collection of photographers. 👌
It's always a great evening when I hear somebody has been enjoying a video ;-). Thanks for letting me know Paul! I am lucky to be able to shoot with these guys often! Looming forward to your next adventure also.
Another good video, thanks for sharing your night photography adventures, beautiful photos Jeroen.
Thank you so much Mario! Glad you enjoyed!
Great vlog again and cool to see that you captured the zodiacal light
Thanks again for watching and letting me know you enjoyed! I was really surprised the zodiacal light came through so well!
Wow!! You sure had fun and that's what it's all about!! Great shots as well!
Thanks Jan, I sure had fun! Love those nights 👍.
Great Vlog and pictures Jeroen...! so good to close sunday with watching this...:)
Thanks Benjamin! That's awesome to hear 😎👌
Great video, as always!
Thanks man!
Beautiful vlog, you really captured the moments in a great way. Loved the timelapse of you guys standing in a row and just shooting and laughing. Feels like photos, which turned out splendid, are just a side product of a awesome night out with friends and I really really love that. Such a cool gang :D.
Thanks Matej! For me the companionship and shared passion/idiocrasy is more than half what makes this hobby worth it for me. Really lucky to have met this gang of great guys in the past few years. Same goes for the connections we make through astro online, yourself included! Still hoping we are able to meet and shoot the stars together sometime 😎
A great night Jeroen with your pals you all got some bangers there.👍
Thank you Carl! This was one of these nights that makes all the 'failures' worth it double time!
👍❤️🌌
That’s interesting: I have never heard of Zodiacal light. Something to look out for next time I in dark sites. My goal is to do winter panorama but western skies in California are ruined with light pollution so I doubt I would achieve that goal. Might need to travel to different states.
Those are some cool shots. Last time I was out on the beach trying to take a photo of Neowise comet (pre Astro days), my lens was covered with sea mist. Pretty much got salt overall the camera lol.
What a productive night you guys had, such a variety of targets 👌. And so jealous of the view you guys get of Pons Brooks in the northern hemisphere. Weather permitting I may try for the comet this weekend but we only get a glimpse after sunset before it disappears below the horizon.
Thanks again for watching Greg! It was a fantastic night which I enjoyed very much. And yes, we have been treated very well with Pons Brooks. I hope you will also be able to capture it soon.
Gave videos man ga zo door 🪐🔭💪💯
Dankjewel! Tof om te horen dat je het leuk vindt!
Looked like a fantastic night out there Jeroen 😊
This was one of the best recently! You have any videos in the making?
@@StarScaperPhoto has been a revolving door of sickness in my household unfortunately. Really looking forward to getting out again soon before that rising MW gets too high off the horizon 🌌
@@AstroRoad ahhh, that's sad to hear man. Hope you all get better soon!
