I think in 2016, when they started seeing each other, the timing wasn’t right.. he was probably looking for something serious and that person at the time for him was hailey. But maybe hailey was not ready because she was so young. So she broke his heart which he didn’t expect would hurt him so much to the point he couldn’t look at her, or be in the same room as her. But when the time went by, 2years later, they met again accidentally. Hailey did say when they met, there was no hard feelings anymore, the drama was over. Maybe they did talked about it too. 2018, when justin was meeting up with selena, i guess he told her about moving forward with his life. They were still good friends, so he’s probably gave themselves some closure to close their chapter for good, like there’s no more on off between them. It probably hurts selena, but not in the way we all assumed. Selena is a smart and good woman. Justin knew it too, even after being married, he still talks good things about her. So went he closed that chapter, he was ready to pursue hailey again. And they got married. Ok, just my opinion hehe. Don’t attack me if you’re not agree 😂
