Ghana has come a looooong way!!! This is fantastic that you have these kind of options now and can view full slabs! When we were installing our kitchen 6 years ago the best you could ask for was perhaps 3 or 4 variations of grey very unremarkable granite. Consequently we shipped both our granite and cabinetry from the U.S. Wonderful to see the options and cannot wait for the install!
If you are prepared to pay a premium then most designer things are available in Ghana. Prices are equivalent to or even greater than Western prices. Last summer I was on Spintex looking for a large wardrobe /closet system. The sales person showed me a huge 135,000 GHC climate controlled wooden walk- closet system which the Kardashians would be happy with. The cheapest in the showroom was 28,000 GHC. I wouldn't spend that in a closet in Europe so I took myself off to Orca Deco.😂
So beautiful! Your kitchen is going to be so nice. Thank you for all of these locations you are finding for us. ☺ (Do what you have to do for you and your house. But thank you for whatever footage you manage to capture and share.)
I was cracking up at myself remembering last week I was at a warehouse literally climbing over crates and boxes of tiles in search of that perfect one. 🤣 I love the slab you chose, it will make an impact for sure. Will all your surfaces be the same or will you have the isle as a feature? That is due diligence to check your fans and lights prior to purchasing. How is the slab price compared to what you find in the west?
Im glad you've gone to the actual stone yard. No middle people to chop your money. Negotiate _ hard_ on price, the markup will be extreme. And negotiate hard on transport too.
Am a Ghanaian building in Ghana, this video has helped me to find a place to purchase my counter tops and kitchen bathrooms wall
Thank you. I am glad you are boots on the ground to let us know where to go.
It never fails a womans vision. It'll work babe... I love it sis.😊
Nice choice... your home is coming along so nicely!!!

That is yafa/beautiful
The kantanka is much bigger 😊
Why do you need a builder for the building and a different contractor for the kitchen? Is the contractor not the one managing the entire project?
