Kai really doing the great job of this album, improve and improve within 8 months. All idea is amazing, can’t image that ONE personal can be preparing that much by HIMSELF.
If you guys like Kai, like Kai. He’s talented and works hard. He’s worked on his solo debut awhile. He deserves all the fans, even when there are many other fans who leave a bad taste in your mouth and make the whole fandom look bad. Fandom wars get started because some fans are zealots. It doesn’t do the idols any good, but what do they care. I’m sure Kai would love that his fans, rather than gently educating newer fans, attack them instead. If it gets awful, turn off the comments. Wouldn’t blame you at all.
Yes agreed, we got our first taste of that. Had to turn off the comments for a vid already. We are used to receiving negativity in person living the lifestyle we do. It doesn’t bother us, words on a screen and nothing said can be worse than what we have gotten in person. Where we draw the line is others going after each other. That’s not okay for us. It’s one thing when directed at us. Completely another when they take out on each other. It’s sad to us that there are fandom members doing that to one another. They are passionate and love their groups so it’s hard to not appreciate their devotion at same time. Hope people can be kinder to each other.
Many fans choose to latch on to artists and act as if it’s their personal mission to put them at the top. Fans bring artists down just as antis do because they don’t realize the reputation they give, reflects on the artist. If fans attack other groups of fans, artists will be leery to work with that artists. Especially when all it takes is one negative rumor to see an artist out on the street these days. Some fandoms welcome new fans with open arms, realizing that teaching them about the artist and getting them to love them as much as the fandom does is a good thing. There is a reason some fandoms are massive and some struggle to exist. Yes Kai is a great dancer. But is he the absolute best? In some ways. In others he isn’t. No one is perfect. Being a fan or stan means seeing their flaws too. Not putting them on a pedestal they can’t stand on forever. Idol culture is toxic. Rather than embrace an artist’s flaws, people choose to point out the flaws in others. Idols can’t exist on fans alone. They need their friends and families, their business connections, their label or bandmates. Fans sometimes burden more than help. It’s sad to see fan wars based on nothing but the fans. Kai isn’t feuding with anyone. He’s not attacking people. He cares about his friends. But his fans won’t care that attacking his friends would hurt him personally.

Like bringing together so many people from all over that may never have talked before. Yes, there are some groups and fandoms that have reacted negatively merely because a new fan didn’t know better. We definitely appreciate those that love sharing their knowledge, been a very good guide to us. We will make mistakes tho, trying our best to love and appreciate all opinions. We have been blessed to have more positive responses than negative. Thank you for that 🙏🏼🥰

True he did come up with the whole concept even the fashion I don’t think anyone trying to take that from him. Just because many say it reminds or gives off Taemin vibes doesn’t mean they’re saying it’s not of KAI genius creative talents at all, you may not see but if you notice a couple of the places KAI used especially the warehouse scenes were used by Taemin during his solo debut DANGER and Thristy MVs along with a few other videos too which can be just coincidence but still the chilled sexy soft melody also gives us that feel.
kai actually started training professionally as a ballet and jazz dancer at 7 and later joined SM due to his father. kai and taemin are best friends and grew up together training. kai is the one who introduced more artistic contemporary and ballet focused style in kpop in 2014 through deep breath and i see u. meanwhile he was influenced to do more hiphop and locking and stuff due to taemin and other sm trainees and seniors and his mentor.
he wasn't influenced to do hiphop because of taemin or any other trainees. he was supposed to do hiphop because of exo's choreography and the preferred choreography happening in sm and kpop at the time. it was literally his job to learn it. afterwards, he went back to his contemporary roots and made that part of his solo choreography.
That’s amazing! Can really see the ballet and jazz attributes in his movements. So graceful and I think helps him be such a more well rounded artist. Very much appreciate that hard work, it show how much he has put into this.
That has to be challenging part to being in a group. Having to adjust to a group theme/style, not sure if that is correct word, to have the choreo for whole group match. Also great in evolving as an artist. I can honestly say when it comes to art/music/performing feel that there is always more to learn. More you want to learn to evolve and become more well rounded. To fill in some info about the ending with the rock just for the people who may not know, it's suppose to represent the two members who got released from the millitary (Xiumin=Frost & D.O.= Earth). Loved the reaction!! Sidenote: Loved the fahion in the mv, but didn't understand why the stylist(s) put a durag on him.
The two symbols at the end were those of Xiumin (who was just released from tge military) and D.O. Who will be released before long (Jan. 25). I feel like maybe EXO is going to hiatus a bit? Maybe gonna make a new album after the guys can settle. Right now all that is left are Kai, Baekhyun, Chanyeol and Sehun. Unless Lay comes back (doubtful) and Xiumin comes back super soon, they could be on a break for a little bit. You guys I think would like Pentagon’s Dr. Bebe. Also, BTS’ BlackSwan, Oneus’ Come Back Home, Seventeen’s Fear, and check out the groups Ateez, Straykids, KARD, and A.C.E. I tried forever not to bias Kai because he is just SO FUCKING PRETTY but he’s impossible 😩.
