That all took hard work, you must be soaked...I practice catch and release too...these fish are an endangered species. Good fish good release..sportsman. Worth the hard work in the end. Nice job Paul.

Roger Ward yes roger! A 35Lb cock fish! Caught it 5 days later on my birthday. I also saw a 12 lb hen and had that 3 days after the 25 liber! Worth going in for! I’ll take my scuba gear next time so I can find the big 50lber and break the Hampshire Avon record!

splendid ?summer fish there. you want to b careful about water depth. had there be a strong current it could have been even trickier for both of you..what's Christs Church fishing like this time of year..
Spring floods scoured out an extra 2 feet of depth from last year and took me by surprise! Salmon fishing starts up in Feb 2019. Barbel and chub fishing is super on the Avon and Stour at the moment. Predatory pike fishing can also produce some great sport in the winter! Tight-lines for 2019!
