Buses in Wakefield (Arriva Yorkshire) takes a look at the buses and operators in action using Wakefield bus station and the surrounding area. Most of the buses in Wakefield are from Arriva Yorkshire, but other operators including Stagecoach and Transdev use Wakefield bus station. Several local bus operators also use Wakefield bus station. A walk between Wakefield bus station and Wakefield Kirkgate railway station allows us to to a bit of bus spotting and see all the buses in action. Most major manufacturer's are present including examples from Alexander Dennis, Wright Bus, Optare, Volvo and Vdl. We also see couple of vintage Leyland buses out and about.
