Her career isn’t even over. She can still win championships at the next level. Super teams win championships in college. It’s the pro level where the goat conversation happens. Tom Brady never quarterbacked Michigan to a national title but he’s considered the goat because of what he did in the pros.
Tom Brady won championship at Michigan 😂
His combine numbers were so bad he dropped to 6th round in draft! 😂
@@hardensoul7248 He was a backup to Brian Griese. So, no, he was not the quarterback who led the team to the 1997 championship.
I respect Caitlin so much. She couldve went to any powerhouse in the country but decided to represent her home state. Sadly Iowa doesnt have top recruits like some other schools do. If she went to Uconn or SC she definitely wouldve had a couple national championships under her belt. Much respect to Caitlin and what she has done for the game.
I agree
She wanted to go to UConn but they turned her down
CC has been doing it since 8th grade. Also the Iowa coaching staff and their educational institutions are world class.
Stacey needs to be on more. Only one who truly understands the game and how to report it.
Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston will be on the same team next year, let that sink in.
I live in Indy. I might go to my first Fever game...
@@gwcrispi same, if there's any tickets left
Oh my god....
She can't play defense Boston win championship because she can play both ends. WNBA championship last year Gamecock Beal and William 6 foot 8. CC might warm the bench

Stacey, I was wondering where you had gone. You were very good in your day. Good to hear from you.
Same here, I remember Stacy.
NFL Network.
Stacey Dale's. An OU girl!!! BOOMER SOONER
"She rejuvenates herself on the defensive side" HAHA! Great one from Stacey
Thank you Rich and Stacey, for the Kind words and generous commentary regarding Caitlin Clark. 👍
Finally someone with some sense who is not hating on Clark, she IS a good thing for women's basketball, ESPECIALLY the WNBA, and they are the ones hating on her the most, she will bring much needed clout to your league, this means more money, better facilities, perks, among other things, the WNBA players need to wake down...lol
Loved watching Stacy Dales in the past! Thank you for having her on your show & for her speaking up for CC!
I remember when Stacey was lighting it up at OU! Glad she’s still active around this sport.
BOOMERrrrrrrrrŕrrrrr
I loved watching Caitlin Clark in this tournament. I dont care that they lost the final game. THis team is still number ONE in my book. Wonderful girls. Class ACt
There not number 1 but I get it.
No one can score 30points when the diffender is in your face the entire game
Mj did not experienced that kind of D she's the goat of all rhe women who play d game period
dirty playing too. putting your hand in someones face. Pissy basketball
It’s so nice to hear something so positive about someone that has worked so hard to be the best player she can be! What she has accomplished is well deserved.
Ms Dales excellent insight , that not everyone talking head has . She is a pro , one of the classiest journalist in sports
RESPECT!! Can't wait for the Olympics and @IndianaFever!!!!
I do the same thing when she hits those shots… I just laugh. Thought I was the only one
Clark will continue to make any team that she is on, even in the Big3, a contender. I will be watching as many of her pro games as I can.
Love CC.
I have never watched women BB until CC.
I'm not sure who the all time best is cuz I haven't a clue as to who the other great women players are. I've never seen a women's game until the final. I missed the semis. Clark is bringing so much attention to the game that people who've never watched women (people like me) play basketball are interested.
Now, I'm not sure if I'll follow her pro career or not. This could be like the USA women's soccer team awhile back. Either way, for at least a brief moment, Clark and Iowa brought the the sports spotlight to women's college basketball.
32 pts 9 dimes 7 rebs and carrying a much less talented team to back to back champ gms." But her defense has to get better" ? WOW ... I thnk her D will translate because shes not a bad defender.
they just have to criticize to make certain people happy
Where’s the video on the national championship winners?
@mattep3395 that's precisely what basketball really is about. Size matters in basketball. Kareem wouldn't be Kareem if he was 6ft 2.
@@joec.5009 - HUH? He'd still be Kareem at 3 feet tall. It's his name.
It seems apparent you didn't watch the whole video
There are many racist hate jobs on you tube.
@@petep5207😂😂😂😂😂😂
She said she never see anyone like her. Not true look at Cheryl Miller. But Caitlin is a Superstar.
Dawn Staley WAS special. Announcing her support of TR people in womens sports, the day before the Finals disqualified her for me. Full stop.
special my foot. recruits 10 McDonalds all star players. Doesnt make her special
@colleenposadas8415 As a coach, I agree with you 100%. But she was pretty dope as a player. She had the ncaa record for career steals and 2,135 career points when there were no three's.
I wish that were so in the final game. It seemed the hoop was 5" higher.
Stacey Dales is first class !
1:09 That was a nice way of saying "She's lazy on defense."
Unfortunately, that’s because she is playing the whole game with no rest. Iowa team has no bench, she needs to save her energy for the offense!
She won’t be playing 40 mins in the W. She will get way better on defense
She will get cooked by the likes of players like Fulwiley lol. She'll be a liability sorta like Steve Nash but she'll score and dish.
That’s actually a way of saying Iowa plays a lot of zone to save her energy
@@mjsabie8517they had no choice but to play zone. Iowa has no bench, Marshal and Martin also play almost 40 mins a game. It’s for the team’s benefit.
Only fools criticize her! Caitlin has opened the door for other college athletes who have genuine fire in their hearts, who in the end will bring their notoriety to the pros who should be welcoming any and all attention. That's what most women like to do, right? Get attention? You don't see women flocking to the WNBA. The presence of men in the stadium, wishing their favorite players come out on top, will sell some tickets.
Now is the time where discipline with play will have to increase. The pro`s are at another level..
Refreshing hearing Stacey ....... so many jealous haters out there ..... South Carolina should give Nika Muhl a ring ..wore her out for the Sunday game ...Caitlin lost her legs in the second quarter.
She getting more coverage than the so called winners, it speaks volume 😉 🐐❤
....about how special she really is. Yup.
She is why most people watch. Do you think people tune in to watch those other teams.😂🤣
Stacey is pretty.
VERY pretty.
Technically under NFHS rules the face guarding as described in this video is not legal.
it is pathetic and scummy
Caitlin Clark doesn't need women's basketball to be a success in life, but women's basketball needs her. Clark breaks the unwritten rules of basketball. Lisa Bluder let her have the freedom to be the player she became. If she went to U Conn, Notre Dame, or any perennial final four participant, no one would ever know what a talent she is. So many of the best players should take the path that Clark took, be the best player on a team with good role players. It is hard to be a standout sitting 25 minutes a game.
Call me crazy but I don't think Clark needed a championship to cement her legacy. Sure we'll look back and say she didn't win a chip but she already proved she could take a program that has only had two McDonalds all Americans ever and take down the giants of the game (SC 2023, LSU 2024, UCONN 2024). The national media attention has become annoying but media coverage is somewhat a reflection of the values of the majority. Her background, character, story, and electric play style all resonate more than the typical women's star basketball player. Is the coverage fair? probably not. Many claim it to be a race issue, which probably plays a part but we've seen black women get the spotlight in other sports (Serena, Biles, etc). From my perspective the Caitlin criticism from legends of the women's game and fans of other programs stems from the hate and lack of interest in the women's game over the last 20 years. The same people who were wrongly tearing down women's basketball are now supporting Caitlin which just rubs people the wrong way because they have the "We deserved respect to" mentality. This ultimately created a huge divide from the long term fans of the game and new fans. Race, sexuality, and culture also played a part in this imo. I think Iowa winning the championship would have ultimately brought more hate her way and added even more pressure on her pro career. Joining the Fever and playing with Boston will hopefully calm the waters in terms of how she is perceived and hopefully they win a bunch of championships together. Finally as a long time Iowa fan it sucked that we lost, but guess what, we are use to it and will continue to support our programs.
Way too much attention to Caitlin. Everyone should have seen that freight train of a SC collision coming. Mistake to pin Caitlin's legacy on that game.
Clark is amazing but one thing I have wondered with a player so talented why was the coach not able to recruit some better talent? No real big and a true point guard would have been a nice addition. I am UConn fan and I know why we were so thin this season, we lost five players and three starters to injury’s. Even I knew SC was going to win it all even before the season started. It was great and she has changed the women’s game for sure. Who knows maybe people will start watching the WNBA. I have watched women’s college basketball for over thirty years but I have had no interest in that league. Maybe I will check it out.
For those thinking the Fever will automatically draft C Clark, best step back and think this over again. Taurasi leveled a threat from the players to the league. Clark may get drafted and a contract; but the “queens” of the game may make her life miserable and the team she is a part of a pariah. There are more of them than Stacy-types who recognize what Clark could mean for the league. That threatens the “queens” and they don’t have to play nice.
wow she used to play in the wnba? she is actually attractive.
She's not the best you've ever seen She's the best you've ever wanted to see because the best were ignored just be truthful
My 2 cents, is the same as Barry Sanders, maybe no Championship, but Damn she is in the Goat conversation.
In reality, neither of them are GOATs.
@@daveclark8337 Barry Sanders best RB there's ever been, not even close.
@@elmarko9051 Sanders didn't even get 100 TDs before he quit the league. Stop it.
Hand in face of offensive player is a technical foul. Should have been called.
Caitlin will open up a can on the WNBA but the players in the WNBA will ban against her, a la The Dream Team and Isaiah Thomas.
That was different, Isaiah already won championships. Probably more like how other players were against Michael Jordan his rookie year. Culminating in the all star game where they kept the ball from MJ! 😂
Lordy, y'all drinking the woke koolaid when it comes to the SC coach 😅 🛌☕
Titles matter otherwise they would not celebrate brady like they do. Stop moving the goal post.
College titles don't matter, otherwise people wouldn't talk about Larry Bird like he was one of the greatest... And if championships really matter that much, why do we still consider Dan Marino one of the greatest ever... seems you're the one moving the goal posts..
he's not the GOAT based on his college career lol
@mariettedorobis6967 But he's considered the goat by everyone that's played The game with him lol.
Bruv TBH I don't care at all about American college sports but you do realize that you can't play for 20 years in college and make trades, draft players( in case you suck there is no reward in college like in the pros) and so on like in the NFL, so you are a bit out of touch on this one and I'm from fucking western Europe
Curious...Instead of talking about SC and the undefeated championship season you continue to talk about one athlete (Whose team lost) and the legacy.
That’s what this segment is about. She’s a one of a kind. Go listen to a different segment somewhere else.
@@lancelotthanksalot7777 oh yeah...you are correct. They all begin to sound like the same narrative over and over again-This athlete is the greatest entity in the universe and everyone else is less than great...
@@googleaccount594 i mean yeah everyone is less great than her but that's nothing to be ashamed of, clearly you can still win if you're not the greatest

It's like how the NBA still talks about Lebron Even when lebron doesn't win a title...
Will Caitlin be the one who finally puts the WNBA on the map? Is she the next Magic Johnson, Bird, who saved the NBA in the 1980's. Is she special enough to pull male viewers? That would be great for women's basketball!
Great white hype!
Manufactured Greatness, coming to an arena near you.
How do you manufacture deadly long range three point scoring?
Stacey Dales is 45 going on 66, yikes.

she forgets its the wnba lol..who is she again?
Maam, wasn't there other amazing women on the court...like the group of women that won made up of different backgrounds and nationalities....Women support all women, correct...lastly she's not Steph curry and quite honestly cannot beat any pro male basketball player...Steph does way more EXCELLENT...than shoot three's...lastly...Caitlin was frustrated, she quit, NOT A GOAT....ONE OF THE GOATS which time will tell...
I say she's the chock not goat. Now Gamecocks and LSU got those killer. Yes that freshman can do CC numbers trust
CC got locked up last night, she’s gonna be garbage in the pros
Locked up and still scored 30, go back to sleep kid, the adults are speaking.
Hold this L
Will white people continue to watch know she is gone?
I never watched till she came around. I won't be watching anymore.
This didn't need to be a racial question. Nobody drew the TV audience Iowa did. We can't assume anybody will . Part of the draw was the match up with LSU, and Bueckers. It's going to take that kind of thing to come close to the 60,000,000 viewers Iowa had during the NCAA tournament.
@@leoncarlson4537 but it is one
The players of the WNBA would rather keep struggling for air time and ticket sales than let a girl like Caitlin Clark come in and take the spotlight. Make no mistake, these women have been as vocal as possible in letting the world know that she is NOT welcome in the WNBA and that even her own teammates will be doing all they can to insure she fails miserably. If Caitlin can overcome the intense hatred of her she will experience going in and wind up succeeding, I'll be pleasantly surprised, but nonetheless, surprised.
The Women's ball is smaller, and the men's net needs to be raised one foot, its been 10 feet for over 100 years .
The WNBA players past and present don't want her in the league... Season ending injury 3...2...1
WNBA GONNA turn caitlyn clark lesbian within 2 seasons
Lotta of them players gonna try to recruit that muffin. More scissoring going on than in 1st grade art class.
