Apparently in real life Natalie Portman really enjoyed shaving her head. She found it to be a thrilling and exhilarating experience. Afterwards she proudly walked around bald, until her hair grew back.

Every once in a while, I get reminded of how brutal some of Natalie Portman’s film roles are.
