- So, this evening we are out and about walking in the Cotswold village & civil parish of Broadway.
Broadway is one of the top tourist locations in the Cotswolds which is unsurprising given the pretty frontages of the shops & houses. This village has a feeling of timelessness about it.

Nice, OAAW~ A couple of benches - one under a tree, and two UK phone booths: nice place to stop. I have a raincoat - ankle length, completely waterproof. That, an umbrella, a nice cup of hot tea, and a bench… heaven…. Thank you for sharing, OAAW. ☔️

@@OutandaboutWalking~ Is there anything more perfect than “a nicely situated bench?!” I used to work in Boston across from the Public Gardens and Boston Common. I spent as much time in them as I could. So good. All is well here as Spring (too?) slowly glides into view. I hope all is well with you there.
This is now one of my favorites!!! The rain alone is lovely but the evening walk through a quaint looking village is so perfect. How I really enjoyed seeing inside the windows, that was......magical!! This walk for me hit all my senses...so very lovely, I had to watch twice. We will have rain this wk. I will put on my wellies & jump in a few puddles. Thank you so much....I hope you enjoy your evening & have a great wk. ❤

Those who have never purposefully taken a walk in the rain- just for the fun of it- don’t know what they are missing (and I don’t mean wet feet- though those may be part of the experience). The nighttime aspect adds another whole dimension, as everything has a magical, dreamlike quality, with the soft lights of the houses and the shop windows shining out onto the sidewalks and streets. There is always just enough light to see where one is going without it ever being harsh. As always, the shop windows were beautifully dressed, with interesting displays. If I were one of these merchants, I would definitely appreciate the good publicity that is being afforded them as their wares are shown.
The outdoor seating at some of the cafe’s you passed must make for a very enjoyable dining experience in good weather. (I would not have wanted to be seated there on this particular night : ).
I enjoyed the bright clumps of daffodils that you encountered….so nice of them to not close up for the night when you would be coming along to film them.
This was a very pleasant and relaxing walk to watch. We are presently experiencing some additional winter weather here in Western NY (crocuses and daffodils are covered in snow), so this springtime rain-walk was doubly enjoyable.

It will be nice to view future rain walks- as well as the sunny ones! That’s too bad that your region experienced a snowless winter. We had a very good winter here- enough snow to please people who enjoy engaging in outdoor winter activities (like me- snowshoeing, and an occasional romp in the snow or a sled ride down a hill with grandkids), but no paralyzing blizzards like the really terrible one in 2022, where the area was literally buried under 6’ of snow. (Sadly, many people died from the effects of this bad storm).
BTW, Buffalo NY (near us) will soon be famous for more than blizzards, as our area is considered a prime spot to view the upcoming solar eclipse in its totality. Huge numbers of people are expected to visit our region. We are all prepared with our special, safe eclipse glasses! : ) Have a good rest of your weekend- as by now it’s Sunday in England. : )

Lovely walk and indeed very soothing. I notice there is little light pollution. There are enough streetlights to see where you are going, but not a forest of them, like where I live. Also, the streetlights look nice and are in keeping with the architecture.
By the way, I always wondered what happened to Darth Vader! Turns out he lives in a man cave in Broadway!! Who knew 😄

The well preserved surry at the museum brings up memories of watching races at university campus indoor stadium. Long gone art here across the pond. And there ya go, Mary Poppins it. When I was wee lassy, those sticker and paint books lasted as long as a chocolate bar. Oh, that's right, forgot about the giant 🍋 in one bay window, real ones 🍋🍊🍎 in t'other, the entrance door's rather small, wonder how they managed to get it inside, plus parked nicely sideways. The hotel be dressed so elegantly, whoops, you and me forgot to clean up our toddies, shameful that. Wait, was that 007 taking a puff? Rather! Broadway IS a lovely walk-about city. Say, let's return to The Swan, see what's cooking.... As always, love it! Beholden to ya, you know it.

A little suggestion: It would be nice if you wrote down exact time when the recording started, so that we can determine exactly what time of day it is.
I am personally watching for the art education purposes. So being able to determine if it's sunrise, mid morning, late morning and so on would be really helpful.
A lot of times you can tell, but sometimes it's an overcast day, or it's just slightly cloudy and then it gets a bit trickier and it's when knowing the time would be really helpful. Especially if you're looking for very specific changes across each period of the day, rather than just generalizing it into morning, afternoon and evening.
So yeah, either write it along with the description of the video, or have a small clock somewhere in the video itself. Whatever feels better to you.
In my opinion, leaving it in the description is probably less intrusive and better for this type of content.
