The very least they could've done is given the phantoms their 9L's by now. The fact that they have to actively fight Su27, Gripen, F15, F16, etc all with IRCCM missiles and tremendously better flight performance and they just get things like 9G's is stupid.
@@69Television I think 13.0 could work really well atm. All 9M and R73 carriers could be at 13.0, things like the F16A/ADF and Mig29 at 12.7, give phantoms that deserve it the 9L and move them to 11.7. Tons of other tweaks too but 13.0 would be amazing.

The auto flaps and slats are very annoying, since most of the time they got deployed at the wrong time. And they exist on a ton of afterburning planes... I hope we can toggle it on/off like wingsweep.

I just spent an entire day grinding out the F-15J, and I gotta say, the Su-27 made every single minute of my grind as agonizing as it could be. I was using the EJ Kai, so I could kinda fight back if they were flying high, but other than that, I couldn’t get anywhere near an area an Su-27 was at. Once I finally got the F-15J, I feel like the experience doubled down on the agony. Also, they really should’ve done way more br decompression because the F-5Es and F-104s that I see all suffered. Also, AAM-3 for EJ Kai when.
They need to artificially limit the missiles that older aircraft get to avoid compression. If the f4e got aim 9Ms, it would belong at 12.0. Once you hit 4th gen aircraft, the airframe doesn't matter (assuming it's decent), and the payload becomes the entire deciding factor for BR.
Man these new jets are so cool, It'd be nice to see what happens in a fight between two pilots who know how to really fly them. Some kind of Collab would be very interesting to watch, might even help you get to 50k.
I'm halfway done getting this thing and I'm already having a good time flying the mig23 MLD (which is a good counter against SU27 when used well because the SU27 doesn't detect J band radar emitted by the flogger)
been grinding the j11 and i can say with 100% certainty that the j8b is NOT 12.0 material. it has only 4 rear aspect missile at 12.0 while similar BR jets carry 6+ all aspect and the radar missiles are useless as it has no PD mode at all
i wish we got the aim7p, the ability to use data link would be soo nice since it would balance top tier missles more than the introduction of the aim120s would. imo its the next step forward
Even the Aim7MH would've been cool to see, it's basically a lofting 7M (unless they're within a certain range, it flies normally) with i think a slightly better seeker? Either way sucks we may never see the pinnacle of the Aim7's before the 120's are added :(

The one thing that has always bugged me about this plane is the fact that the wingtip R-73's go under the wing, not on the end/side. It bothers me so much. And just for that I'll never be able to say it's one of my favorite designs. It looks good but that absolutely kills it.
Have you considered no missiles? Gun only will give moderately better flight and your team (fellow su27 gon carry) is op anyway. Would it be fun to roll around and play with your food or is this more enjoyable
It has the flight model of a bus to balance it out due to its kit, with no missiles the plane kinda sucks it’s all floaty and will bleed speed like a delta and it’s a heavy plane

Yeah flying the Flanker was an absolute experience. Full Stock she is kinda rlly dogshit, however once you get those essentials in and learn to discipline yourself how to position and align, you can sweep into an entire pool of enemies dropping one ER after another going out with 2-3 kills atleast. For me she was especially hard to master at first stock, since you bleed speed so extremely fast and it feels pretty hard to aim with the gun. So my first matches were all kinda really crap. Another example of an aircraft turning full 180° depending on upgrades.

I really don’t think it was even close to the right time to add the su27 they really should’ve just added the MiG 25 which the f15 was a counter for or added the C instead of the A and gave it AMRAAMs and I think that would be the most balanced the game would have been in years but they could have also restricted the amount of missiles the su27 carried but still add AMRAAMs so the r27er would at least have a challenger
I like the flanker not because of its performance in game but because its the prettiest plane ever made also the new jets all have their own strengths so it feels pretty equal atm
It's bullshit F4S/J's, Mig-23's, and Tornadoes face this thing, they can't even fight Mig-29's or F16's. It's ridiculous, there's no buffer between third and fourth gen, missiles or airframe wise. So they just get stuck getting destroyed, while Su27's get 4kill games for breakfast you're lucky to get one kill with an F4J.
Im glad the jet i committed to grinding Russia for is really good, but im sad that the flight models for it and the mig29 are kinda terrible right now. Weird choices all around, but what else should i expect from Gaijin
Gripen is the hard counter to the SU27, all the missiles in the world mean nothing when the Gripen can enter combat and flare for the duration while outmaneuvering the SU27, maintaining better speed, in every way being the more "overpowered" plane, but you don't really see that narrative. Gripen good, SU baaaaad. lol This is my general opinion, not necessarily sparked by this specific video, I think the Gripon should be higher tier, the flanker is fine where it is.

I don’t understand why the added the F-15A which entered service in 1974 with the SU-27 which entered service in 1990 you would of thought to give the ussr the mig-25 which entered service in 1970 or gave the USA the F-15E which entered service in 1989
We have a 90s MSIP F-15A. The Su-27S is from 1984. Production dates are not the issue. F-15 is completely fine and is the best option for AIR RB the US has right now.
@@yujinhikita5611 We don't need AMRAAM yet. USAF never used AIM-7MH or AIM-7PI or PII. Those were Navy Sparrows. AMRAAM is coming in the next few patches. Right now the F-15A has a much better flight model then the Flanker. 9Ms and 7Ms are perfectly fine. The balance is relatively alright cause Flanker is a boat.
The hard part of top tier is staying alive long enough to make an impact, ground is the same way. Sufficiently modern weapon systems do what used to be the hard part for you, but now the other guy has the same ability to kill you.

I really like what they have don to the game ! The skill cap is so much higher now, some problems still exist. 1. Maps are too big. Smaller maps allow higher skill players to show off what they can really do ! 2. Russian jets are underperforming and " Western " crap is buffed into skies. 3. Even in RB jets should be able to rearm missiles in air.
Actually so dumb this thing gets access to a series of r-27s built to compete with aim-120s, a thrust vectoring dogfight missile r-73, and an HMD... But US gets the absolute worst variant of Eagle, no aim-120As (which wouldn't even be gamebreaking), no aim-7MH or Aim-7p to compete with those r-27s, No HMD, and a decent 9m that still gets outperformed by r-73s, not even considering the even better r-73s china gets. Russia dominated with mig-29 for ages, having access to HMD months before anyone else, we finally get a competitive aircraft with the 16C and suddenly now Russia deserves to get the most dominating jet in the game again for another 6 months?? And will be a thorn in everyones ass until the aim-120A comes out (you know...the missile that russians got a counter for in this update).... wont have that for months... The fact that no one cares because "wook, my wussian jet is soooo gewd", or is blind to the reality of gaijins bias is insane. F-14 A Had ass acceleration and easily was dead in the water, and it's missile was a gimmick at best once everyone learned how braindead easy it is to dodge and Shills use that as a justification for Russia getting to eat like this, all because they have a skill issue with 54's, and actually had to fight a real competitive aircraft when it came to the f-16C. Russia pilots have so much false confidence, all because they get the best/easiest jets and tanks to use in the game, the best missiles every patch and are constantly coddled, but when america gets a competitor they lose their minds. It's uncanny! But it has a reason. The wingtips are reserved for ECM pods (Sorbtsiya L-005) a set of both of them on each real "wingtip".

F16 and mig29 are easy kills in my mig23. Unless you bad at the game, or the f16/mig29 are amazing you can Both easily kill eachother

We have a 90s MSIP F-15A. The Su-27S is from 1984. Production dates are not the issue. F-15 is completely fine and is the best option for AIR RB the US has right now.

@@yujinhikita5611 We don't need AMRAAM yet. USAF never used AIM-7MH or AIM-7PI or PII. Those were Navy Sparrows. AMRAAM is coming in the next few patches. Right now the F-15A has a much better flight model then the Flanker. 9Ms and 7Ms are perfectly fine. The balance is relatively alright cause Flanker is a boat.

I really like what they have don to the game ! The skill cap is so much higher now, some problems still exist.
1. Maps are too big. Smaller maps allow higher skill players to show off what they can really do !
2. Russian jets are underperforming and " Western " crap is buffed into skies.
3. Even in RB jets should be able to rearm missiles in air.

Actually so dumb this thing gets access to a series of r-27s built to compete with aim-120s, a thrust vectoring dogfight missile r-73, and an HMD...
But US gets the absolute worst variant of Eagle, no aim-120As (which wouldn't even be gamebreaking), no aim-7MH or Aim-7p to compete with those r-27s, No HMD, and a decent 9m that still gets outperformed by r-73s, not even considering the even better r-73s china gets. Russia dominated with mig-29 for ages, having access to HMD months before anyone else, we finally get a competitive aircraft with the 16C and suddenly now Russia deserves to get the most dominating jet in the game again for another 6 months?? And will be a thorn in everyones ass until the aim-120A comes out (you know...the missile that russians got a counter for in this update).... wont have that for months... The fact that no one cares because "wook, my wussian jet is soooo gewd", or is blind to the reality of gaijins bias is insane. F-14 A Had ass acceleration and easily was dead in the water, and it's missile was a gimmick at best once everyone learned how braindead easy it is to dodge and Shills use that as a justification for Russia getting to eat like this, all because they have a skill issue with 54's, and actually had to fight a real competitive aircraft when it came to the f-16C.
Russia pilots have so much false confidence, all because they get the best/easiest jets and tanks to use in the game, the best missiles every patch and are constantly coddled, but when america gets a competitor they lose their minds.
