Just attended his concert in Istanbul. It was my fifth overseas Dimash concert. I’m from the U.K. and aged 79. I’ve watched Dimash every day since I saw this 2017 performance seven years ago. Never get bored because you never know what genre his next song will be, Plus, he is respectful, loving, patriotic, intellectual, hardworking and. very much the humanitarian working for world peace. Comes from a musical family. Composes, Dances, models, directs, plays seven instruments, speaks three languages, sings in many. Opera thru to rap.

Dimash brought this song out of obscurity, a French Rock Opera called Starmania from the 70's. Be sure to watch a version with English lyrics, they're so profound. He thrills me every song, with his amazing interpretation, vocal prowess, and always a good message one can take to heart. Enjoy the Dimash journey as he is ever reaching for new genre's and music adventures! BTW he composes a lot of his songs, as does famous songwriter Igor Krutoy. He is professionally trained in opera, contemporary music, and musical theater. Greetings from the Pacific Northwest. I discovered thiis youtube video of Dimash seven years ago when it went viral. He is from Kazakhstan and was already famous there and was invited to compete along with China's best on that Chinese talent show. There is no one as talented or creative on the planet. Dimash is now a worldwide phenomenon who sings in about 15 languages, speaks three of them quite well, plays at least seven instruments perfectly, and creates some of the most amazing music on the planet while using his 7.7 octave voice. Dimash does it all, from opera rap, and he does it all brilliantly. You have only touched the tip of the iceberg with this song and performance. Believe me, you haven't seen anything yet. Since this performance, Dimash has been filling arenas and stadiums around the world with his nearly four-hour concerts and they always draw fans from 60-80 countries who make challenging trips just to be in proximity of him. His concerts have taken place a wide range of places from New York to Moscow to Dubai to Hong Kong to London to Istanbul to Malaysia to Prague and Budapest----and to many places in-between. With any kind of luck he will do a US tour one of these days that includes Seattle or Portland and then we can all get together in one place at one time to be mesmerized by the vocal king!

Yes he was 30 yrs old on 24th of may - so only just 30. Here he is about 21 or 22.
By that time already a well established singer in his own realm i.e. Kazakhstan , his home country, russia Belarus and others in the area, via singing competitions. Be won THE most prestigeous competition, so that is how he came to be noticed by the organisor of this competition, called the singer. This competition was between well established proffessional singers. All much older than Dimash.
As a foreigner, he wud not b allowed to win, so he came 2nd. They changed that rule the following year.
BUT the audience who were the judges, were so amazed they announced Dimash to the world - the following morning rftr this performance Dimash had to have protection from all the listeners, who were immediately his fans. He calls his fans Dears.
So hooe u enjoy your Dimash journey. He sings in all genres, and u never know what he'll produce next. He writes and composes his own works as well as singing covers.

Dimash is singing SOS by Luc Plamondons a Canadian lyricist which he wrote in collaboration with the French composer Michel Berger. The rock opera is called Starmania, and includes SOS about an “earthling" in distress.

SOS is the song thanks to which the world began to discover Dimash. He was 22 years old (the shooting was made at the end of 2016 for broadcasting in early 2017). Since then he has done many other absolutely fantastic things, especially with the composer Igor Krutoy. You can try their "Stranger" or their "Olympico", "Passionne", "Your Love", etc. All will surprise you like never before.

Welcome to Dimash. This was when he was only 22. He has only gotten better and better. He does a host of genres and sings in many languages including English. One of his latest is an MV called When I've Got You. You would not know it was the same person at all. In the recent MV it is a more blues, R and B style. His MV's are also more like short movies. Just prepare to always be shocked. You will see everything from straight up opera, to pop opera, to ballads (some of the most beautiful singing ever) to the occasional rap in the middle. You will seen his native Kazakh, French, Russian, Ukrainian, Italian, English, Mandarin etc etc and etc . Please do When I've Got You. Also... he has a world wide fan base.
