    My first thought would be to try and untie the red ribbon around the not, thus unrolling it. This may make the note thin enough to slip past the wood dowel.

    Maybe a magnet can help placing the bolt back in the hole. A strong one will also magnetize the bolt so that the nut sticks to it as well.

Most of the people that commented said “I’ll break the bottle........blah, blah, blah!” And expect that from the majority of people, just like in real life, they all want to take the easy way out!!! They don’t want to work hard for what they want! Perseverance works and it pays off at the end. Congratulations on your great video!!! Keep up the good work!!

    I think, nut can be turned more simply by using chopsticks or similar thin tool outside of the bottle. Also you can wind up the usual cotton thread to nut or bolt before you place it in a bottle, and remain the end of thread outside the bottle. So you can rotate the bolt or nut for number of rotations equal to coils simply by pulling the thread, when you got it all, no trails in the bottle.

  • @henno3889

    To put it back in place, just tie a thin thread around the tip of the bolt, loop it through the hole in the stick and then through the nut, then put the three things into the bottle separately. You can now guide the bolt through the hole in the wood using the thread, guide the nut around the tip of the bolt using the thread, then wind it in the same way you did. Afterwards, a strong pull on the thread will detach it from the bolt.

    This is interesting. My initial thought aside from breaking the bottle (which would make it impossible to reset and complete the 2nd part of this puzzle) would be to find or make a tool such as an elastic band or super thin wrench. Magnets would be worth trying too in case the fasteners aren't non-magnetic, and I also thought about using water to freeze some of the contents in place in conjunction with other tools.
    Fact that buddy did this without any of that is pretty amazing, and shows a level of patients I could never have.

    Lots of requirements going on here. The diameter of the wood. The position and size of the hole in the wood. The size and length of the bolt. The length and stiffness of the paper.
    The size and shape of the bottle. Maybe add a bit of oil to the not and bolt for easier turning.

  • @bokaratom
    @bokaratom Před 5 měsíci +4

    MAYBE AN EASIER WAY TO PUT IT BACK TOGETHER: Wind a thread around the bolt and then put the thread through the hole in the dowl before putting it in the bottle. Leave one end of the thread outside the bottle. Pull the thread to get the bolt through the hole in the dowl. Then since the thread is wound around the bolt you can continue to pull on it to turn the bolt while holding it against the nut. If you wound the thread in the right direction this will start the nut on to the bolt. When you're done starting the nut on the bolt, pull and remove the thread so no one can see how you did it. Use the roll of paper to finish tightening the nut on the bolt.

    tie a string (release knot) around the bolt head, guide the string through the bolt hole of the stick. hold on to the string, dont let it go
    insert the bolt and stick into the bottle, then pull the string until the bolt is through the bolt hole.
    after the bolt is through the bolt hole, pull the other string so that the knot is released.

    Easier way would be using the stick to hold the bottle with paper/money inside then smash it on a rock. Problem solved 😂😂😂😂

    All well and good getting it out BUT how are you going to put that nut back on the bolt to put it all back together. I will watch to see if you do that.

    Patience and perseverance are what solved this puzzle. I would have stomped the paper roll flat with the stick, add some moisture to soften the paper if I have to, then try to fish it out with a sticky cotton bud and/or tweezers. And if that doesn't work, just use a hammer if it's currency inside. To hell with the nut and bolt 😆
    But it's fun to watch people solve it with the patience I don't have.
