      The saheena he ate is made with dasheen leaves and seasoned split peas paste which is spread in the leaves and rolled into a log. It is then sliced and fried. The katchorie is seasoned ground split peas. The baiganie is strips of melongene in a dough and fried.

    Green shed is failure now , all their items are half the size they used to be , raise the price and keep the size nah , it impossible to get a good doubles ..bara so small and channa enough to eat half a bara ...so frustrating !! Coolie is a slur... you may not be trinidadian.. in other islands the indian population is so small that the younger generations accept being called that, but I image your comment will offend most trinis.

    • @robertelie1434
      @robertelie1434 Před 3 lety

      Coolie means laborer, it was a term given too by the British to anyone, even to the Chinese, who labor built the colonies. And the derogatory use of the word was developed between the masses, without these so called collies, we would never be where we are today. And no I am Trinidadian.

    • @Kjaja07
