Your a life savior! I was replacing the light bulbs to led and one popped in! I was able to get it back in and finish the job. Thanks again
Perfect. Lost one of the little clips when changing my bulbs and used this to take the console out. I actually used the plastic ice scraper end of a snow brush to pry mine out
Omg I pushed the socket inside the console where you put the light bulb in…I thought I broke it…I started crying and crying and crying non stop after hours of trying to pry it out with tweezers and what not I got an anxiety attack and then I saw this video and it you made my day! Thanks for this video. My local Toyota dealer wants $100 to remove this and retrieve the bulb that popped up inside the housing. You saved me $100.
Excellent video! I managed to push one of the "1/8th turn" bulb sockets out of the circuit board (while replacing old bulbs with LED ones) and had to pull this down to retrieve/fix. Put duct tape over a flat, wide metal pry tool and it went exactly like in this video.

Thanks for the video! I accidentally pushed out the little fixture while trying to replace the bulbs and had to remove the console. The hardest part was using my little pry tool to take the required force, but I got it to work by working the tool into a horizontal position and pulling hard.

I was changing the dome light couldn't pull the bulb so I tried pushing it then it slide to the box thingy now couldn't get it. Luckily I found this channel. Thank youuuuuuuu

I have a Toyota corolla 2011 conquest, and I used trim tool and try to pull the console off from the front as you demonstrate, but it seemed really tight and I did not want to use too much force to break it, could you give any hint? thanks.
So I got this Toyota 2010 Rav4 used and the interior dome is exactly as you show here, however it's missing the sockets for the bulbs to go into. Do you have any idea what the name of these sockets are so I can buy some aftermarket ones and repalce them?

yes i did it for my 14 corolla its the same
just take care to open the lights first with a pry tool and remove the wiring then open the whole assembly the same way he did in the video.

For a 2015 Toyota rav4 XLE, I have 2 questions...
1) Do you sell those clips or know the toyota part number for them in case I break one? Long story short, I need to remove my overhead console, just like you did to check where/why water is coming in there.
2) Also, any help is appreciated with this overhead water leak from this video (about 30 seconds in). Feel free to answer this question on my leak video. Thx.
