When using the goggles integra and remote controller 2, what are we sacrificing?
Do you think the RC2 that I use w my Mini 4Pro will ever be compatible w the Avata 2?
I guess the update has been pulled back, I can’t update (Belgium). Read about some issues on the official DJI forum.
How is the connection with controller 2 vs 3?
Would I have fomo, if I were to go with the fpv2 rather than fpv3? Rc2 has the external antenna and bit heavier with earlier transmission but anything else?!

Well, that was a fun ride. I can bind the Integra and the FPV2 to the Avata 2, but apparently not the Goggles 3 and the FPV2.
Having the same issue here so it's not possible to use the goggles 3 and the fpv rc 2? Only the goggles 2 and the fpv rc 2 is that it?

Almost same Q as below: can I use the Avata 2 with the latest goggles but with the FPV 2 controller, or is this only working if I use the older goggles too? Looking at the release notes it isn’t possible to mix.
Ye id believe the release notes. So dumb too. Might aswell well not have added compatibility in that case for me at least..
This update appears to address forward compatibility for O3 hardware and not backward compatibility with O4 hardware. Your question is using a combination of both that is unclear. Someone is going to have to test it out.
What about buying the avata 2 with goggles 3 and using it with my remote controller 2? Is it possible? (RC2 + goggles 3 + Avata 2)
