As an apprentice you’ll only need one good pair of each of these tools and depending on what your doing you’ll definitely not need to carry around half the tools around with you all the time as he has, that being said when your first starting carry more than you think you’ll need and you will learn which tools you can keep in your bag and which tools you’ll need on your belt at all times
Well said
Love those klein J2000 series. For heavy duty stuff
I dont totally agree with choice of brands but hes right. Good assortment of tools.
I do mostly refrigeration and i use the same bag there awesome!
Its convenient. Can carry pretty much everything. I could need for most situations.
Nice load out man. We’ve got the same brand preferences but I like your voltage tester a lot. Gonna order one right now!
If you get any of the Klein tools from home depot, they will replace them for free if they break.
Simple Stump damn I didn’t know that. I just broke one haha
As an apprentice and first time in commercial what tool box or belt would u recommend ? Or do I need both ?
Bahah I thought that scissor lift was hitting a sweet jump
Add some ECX drivers to your list !
2.55 minutes in I subscribed this guy is bad ass!!!! Good and perfect carry bro 👍
Just wonderful, been searching for "electric schemes online" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Diyarah Electric Freedomify - (just google it ) ? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my cousin got amazing success with it.

Hey you should check out the 4 in one ratchet wrenches 8 sizes in 2 wrenches
Yeah those are great. The only reason I dont have them is I already had some ratchet wrenchs. Good tip
Right now showing how to use them
What bag do you carry? What is the brand
I have a couple different ones. One is AWP and the other is Klein. Which for the record, I love everything Klein makes and Rigid. RIGID is the brand of my 2 piece rolling tool box.
I also have the Klein backpack too.
Cheap pair of wire stripper and good pair of line man's for me
These are the tools you will need if you want to be an electrician apprentice.
Simple Stump will there tool be the same in the uk? As I’m from England
Yes I cant see that the tools used in the UK would be any different. The only thing that I think would be different is specific codes for your location are probably different ours.
Simple Stump thanks
Uh Jamie Lanister is an electrician?
That's awesome.
Thank you
Cheers for this, I've been looking for "get free electric" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Diyarah Electric Freedomify - (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my mate got great results with it.
Please start every video with, Alright, Alright, Alright.
BTW, they are called "Linesman Pliers", Not side cutters, good grief
Actually both terms are acurate and can be referenced on most tool sites
www.kleintools.com/blog/side-cutters-lineman-s-or-linesman-s
@@bigojac4 They're not side cutters. Let's be real here. If you asked for a side cutters on site and meant a linesman / combi pliers, you're gonna get laughed at.
S J BTW they are called “lineman’s pliers”, not linesman pliers, good golly
@@PuddinPie Nice snag. I was looking forward to saying the same thing but you beat me to it lol
I thought they were called a hammer?
Narrated by Mathew Mcaunahey
is this leaned more towards commercial?
No not really. A lot of the tools you'll use are the same for commercial and residential.
and what about a 12v drill, preferent milwalkee
All my drills are Milwaukee.
That Klein tape sucks. Damn thing breaks too early. Nothing beats the fat max IMO
Yeah but I can exchange the klein for free. Fat Max s a great tape for carpenters. I like the magnetic tip tho for electrical work. But of course everyone has a preference.
The Lufkin nite eye is the new best. I use it over my fat max now
He sounds like a cheap Matthew McConaughey 😂
All this time to explain a tool bag where you should be at work lol
Wayyy to much stuff in there man... you only need one of each of everything in ur pouch and a lot of that stuff needs to be in ur tool bag not ur tool pouch man...
Yes if that was a pouch that I wear. I have a much smaller one I wear which I will put the 3 or 4 tools that I am using at the time. this pouch is being used as a tool bag basically. That's why there is so much in it. But I agree for the one you wear.
@@simplestump6629 oh ok gotcha. the best setup you can get is the bottom piece of the packout which roles and the 15 in tote and the tech bag. Both Snap On Top of the Rolling part and those three pieces of Kit plus a tool pouch you will never need anything else. Don't fall for the Trap of the $300 veto bags that are not made in America lol
Promoting brand new tools. Learn how to use them and get them dirty.
Those aren't side cutters they are pliers.
Actually their proper name are 9 inch linesman but in the field everyone around here calls them side cutters
@@simplestump6629 Linesman pliers yeah, fair enough if thats what they call them in your part of the world. Just never heard someone call pliers side cutters before.
@@stevoc9930 yeah i always thought it was weird too, lol. I've also heard diagonal cutters called side cutters and dikes. I guess because on the linesman pliers, the cutting edge is on the side. That's the only reason I've come up with.
@@stevoc9930 nice. I never heard that one. I love learning about other cultures and the differences from my own. I find it interesting. Thanks for that
Simple Stump we call them side cutters too!. Pliers, literally, do not have cutters in them.
HAHAHAHAHAH SAYS YA NEED A GOOD PAIR OF WIRE STRIPPERS THEN SHOWS THE CHEAP SOUTHWIRE CRAPPY STRIPPERS!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHHAH
S J south wire makes good wire strippers and screwdrivers. That’s basically all
Yeah brand is a matter of opinion. South wire isnt horrible but they are not my favorite brand by far. I would recommend klein. That's my preference actually. That's just what happened to be in my bag at the time. I actually have about 5 sets of strippers in different tool boxes or vehicles.
@@simplestump6629 get the ideal strippers with the curved handle. Best around
