In swl the strat that i used every campaign was 4 magikill and 1-2 giants rest of population speartons or no speartons only giants , always worked . The thing the ai does the same is leaving units that makes them think they have advantage with back so when they get to front everything is dead . The differences that make it hard is that 1-2 swords at the start was enough to slow the enemy eco or a spearton if they used cheap units rush , because there is no formation the giant can not slow other units to his speed to attack all at once and letting the archidons a little ahead they usually where right behind to tank and magikill where not very far behind . In mission 100 i used 2-3 magikill a few archidons and many speartons but it helped that i had ice archers lava spears and undead magikill so without not sure it would of been easy . The constant reinforcement with Kytchu was the main problem because they could out damage the golden archers and melt anything , somehow Atreyos was not that bad even tho he is a tank .
