I had been living in the Netherlands for almost 3 years and I must confirm, I got eventually get fed up with being a foreigner. I could not stand being a guest anymore. Little things you can't do if you're not a citizen may make your life disappointing.
1: Language - all slavic languages are a nightmare (but compared to scandinavians they are really talkactive. Once a person thinks you speak theire language, they talk for half an hour (Babooshkas in Russia even more))
2: i think czech are easy to make friends with. Im from Denmark, but both my boyfriend and some friends are from there.
Been there done that.....You're taking words right out of my mouth. Especially "where are you from?" "How do you like it here so far?" :D :D
