    Yeah some questions 🙃
    - Did you run the stress-test with your wheel?
    - Will you run the stress-test on all V12 before shipping them to customers?
    - What do you think of the V12 HT board with "More durable MOS"?
    I would be cool if you made your own video about the stress test, maybe with clearer instructions because a lot of people struggle to reproduce it.

    Very nice. It looks like the V12HT will be my everyday wheel and the S20 will be my hectic trail wheel. Perfect combo.

    The recently announced V12HT would probably be my next wheel… I’m really not interested in risking life and limb and trying to cruise about at 70kph.. a max of 55kph or so would be fine for me! Looks a nice wheel for sure!

    I love your comment about SAR teams using EUCs. In fact I believe there is an Italian organisation who I think is doing that, IIRC (It may have been EMS looking to expand fast response capabilities).
    I saw it posted on one of the groups on Facebook a while back but unfortunately I cannot find a screenshot nor the group it was in.
    It is such a good idea.

    I see the mudguard is doing a good enough job to not shoot all the mud up too high. Still a great looking and running wheel. But you are so right a knobby tyre for the conditions at the moment would be really nice.

    Hi Ian. Great reviews as always. Have you experimented with the Split Ride mode on this wheel? I understand from Wrong Way and MADPack videos that these settings give you really granular control to make it ride how you want (as opposed to having to adjust to IT).

    Wonderfull review thx for riding despite rain, it was my general impressions UK is always sunny and warm ? No fog and rainy conditions a bit like Florida and California? Am I wrong here? UK have the best weather in da whole world ??
    I assume V11 and V12 tire is more or less the same except for the size? V11 tire is terrible for off roading I find. - changing the tire is quite a task. I want the same knobbly tire that Veteran sherman has - on my V11. I really wish tire changing was less work. Maybe the Spanish desinger of Recio wheel is on to something here ? I remember ppl changing MSX tire to knlbbly tires for forrest riding with good results ..... Anyways my next wheel will prob be Kingsong s20 or Inmotion V13 - I want suspension power and 18"

  • @davidhumphries6371

    Hi there. Great information and very tempting as I look to pick up an EUC. Another reviewer has suggested this is a “pro level” wheel. Do you have any thoughts on a 50 year old learning on this? After all I learned to longboard 18 months ago with no prior experience. I don’t really want to go through the process of starting small then having to upgrade, as the market for these in my country (New Zealand) is tiny

    • @TheThunderwars
      @TheThunderwars Před 2 lety +2

      It is not really a "pro level wheel", there is no such things really. There are only wheels that are a "footfull" to drive correctly. The V12 is special, as it is high on your legs compared to other wheels. It is also top heavy, which will make high speeds initially a bit wobbly. But once mastered it is a great wheel. I have about 200km on mine, fairly harsh riding, cruising 50-55 and it works really well for me. My first wheel was a KS14S, my second an Msuper v3S+ and now I have this V12 as well as an mcm5v2 for smaller commutes for work (meaning for driving slow with minimal gears on). When I ride the V12 I'm always fully geared.

      @norbertjanicke4020 Před 2 lety +1

      I started learning last year with 41 on an inmotion V8F. It’s definitely easier to learn on an smaller than on a heavy wheel, but after 3 weeks i wanted something faster with more Range. So i bought the Begode MSX. Now i have the V12, and i think you can learn with it pretty good. But start on the lowest pedal height, not the highest. And the Weight will be a pain in the beginning

  • @Roskellan
    @Roskellan Před 2 lety

    It does look like you have dropped the tyre pressure. I ride the 16X at about 28psi. If I go higher the wheels feels less stable to me, too much lower and I start worrying about the rim.

    • @Speedyfeetuk
      @Speedyfeetuk  Před 2 lety +1

      Yeah true rim damage is a concern with to low a pressure (and inner tube pinch). Mine is around 32psi now.

    • @Roskellan
      @Roskellan Před 2 lety

      @@Speedyfeetuk On the 16X the wheel definitely gets squirrely at 30psi and beyond on braking probably me. Your V12 looked lower probably the soft ground, dare I say rider weight, still keeping score? I'm 83Kg, at least I was before Xmas :-)
