I for one appreciate the strict safety measures, including a safe tiltback margin that allows you to forget about listening for a nearly inaudible beep in a busy urban environment.
63-64 km/h is enough to move comfortably in a city, at least here in Europe, and I’m not planning to hit the highway on one of these any time soon.

Pedal height that’s adjustable with a hex screw on the fly on the s18… i reviewed that wheel extensively… never saw that.
@@evXNYC If you need a hex tool to adjust it, that's not "on the fly." If it is adjustable that's what's important, nearly all will simply find a height they like and leave it alone after that. We slept on Inmotion bc kingsong has already been there, done that! The true innovator of 2020 is clearly kingsong.
@@johncraftenworth7847 it’s obvious which adjustable hangers are better design and will likely be implemented on other wheels moving forward. It’s ok, KS will continue to have sexy wheels and IM great features and Begode great fires.. i mean performance.

14:57 this part made me want a V12 so much. At first I wasn't into it (talking about design or lack of suspension) but seeing the specs and this video, Man, it's appealing. It's a serious wheel. Inmotion got it right! The design is awesome. It feels like a living being, an alien weapon, I don't know, I don't have words to describe it. It feels sturdy too. You're lucky to ride it. I took a bus for about 8 hours or so from Bogota to medellin. That's the only part of Colombia I visited that I really didn't like to much. I think even soacha is better (just my opinion) 🤔 I stayed a total of 3 months. Wish I could have stayed in Colombia. It's so beautiful. P.s. trans melinio (I think is how you spell) SUCKS!
It's about time someone came out with a cool looking, sounding and performing wheel that can hang with us old school board riders and keep up with our 40+mph E-board A-Team rides here in NYC!

Yes Sherman has great range and speed but in my opinion too fat and ugly like the tank it's named after! And from what I've seen not so nimble, not so easy to lift or carry up NYC walk up apts and or ride for some smaller weaker guys.😂
That fake sound is cheesy af. Even if it sounded great, that would be the first thing I disable.

Great video! I appreciated your quality before but wasn’t feeling the character - some of the videos too smooth and not gritty. Watched 3 of the V12 videos and love the feel and content level. WW is my fav and Hsiang for his commentary but EVX definitely rose to the occasion with this series. Thanks for the hard work. Hope it pays off for you. Very well done!
Great review man, I'm sure it feels good to finally get it out there. Sounds like this will be a game changer for riders that demand safety and build quality, but would like to finally be able to hang with the A team on rides. I'm a bit of a Kingsong fanboy, so I'm hoping that they too "answer the call", so to speak.

Amazing video, as all of your videos, I have already pre-ordered my v12. As I have been riding KS 16x and can not cruise even at 50 km/h, v12 will be just perfect, if I could cruise at 55, I will be so happy. :) Tried higher speed cruising on Sherman, not really my thing, I prefer compromise between speed and fun. Anyway, as you said - keep riding, never stop! (had to stop myself for some days now due to an injury, can not wait to hop on my 16x again, it feels like drug. 😃

I've ridden with Mickey while testing out the wheel, headlight is actually very bright, something I always make fun of on most wheels for being so dim and useless. Also the Bluetooth speakers are quite good, not super loud but super clear and actual stereo speakers.

Great review! I was not surprised to hear that it would be difficult to get it to 43mph. Lift speed be damned and all. It is 100V 16" wheel and unless Inmotion knows something that Gotway doesn't it kind of defies physics. I don't see the V12 blowing the Nik out of the water but it is definitely a nice alternative. The rest comes down to price vs features. Also it would be interesting to see how the V12 throttles as battery goes down.
The throttle is linear like GotWay. It’s really great.

Props to EVx for coming up with adjustable pedal height concept/ mechanicals and other game-upping input into the wheel. Pre-ordered a new V12, Yay! (Substantially based on safety - city wheel that won't flame on while it sits alone in the apartment, LOL.)
Used EVx link to Ewheels (no brainer, they're great) to order, because of his work that's in the wheel. IMHO It's the right thing to do.

Looks like there is a good solid gap between the tyre and the side... for us here in the UK and winter riding that would keep the mud clear. Looks like this wheel does have all the small details that allot of people will appreciate.

The V11 looks WAY better to me than this, I own the V11 and am just seriously so disapointed with the design of the V12 because it's not something I look forward to upgrading to

@@BennyMartinx My mistake…I missed that you said V10(F)….When I bought my V8F last year from eWheels, I was told that IM was streamlining. The V8 and V10 were being dropped for the “F” models. I saw on their company web site that along with the V12 model, there is a new V8S (larger battery capacity). I’m happy with the V8F but there are times I would like to have just a bit more speed and distance, but I bet that’s the case for most of us in this intermediate class. The V10F should serve you well, are you happy with it?

So I'm seeing a lot of follow up reviews about cutouts and loose pedal hangers on the latest models. Is it safe or should I wait until they come out with more updates and fixes?

It's only unfortunate that it's a 16" wheel due to the very limited tire selection at this size, with essentially 0 good off-road / knobby tire option for now.
70 kph max speed is over-estimated, and I wonder what the real GPS max speed is.
However, well implemented tilt-back near top-speed is an excellent idea for safety.
I'm considering it once all first-batch issues will be solved, it could be a great winter wheel.... if only it had better tires available for muddy, snowy and icy conditions.
Perfect job Mickey. I was really waiting for this video. Definitely my feeling is that for me it is much better to buy Nikola+ (a specially considering the price) and wait for the V12F which may solve the issues you've mentioned. Overall this wheel is perfect because it up the level of quality for other EUC companies.

wheel polo? The in motion V12 seems to be good. I got the BEgode RS19 and it heats up 10-15 minutes into the game.
Wow, it might be not the best wheel in terms of performance, but it's definitely the best in terms of features. I can't even believe this wheel has so much cool stuff in it.

I have a InMotion v11 and am getting too fast on it pushing the 34 mph max limit. I need a faster ride but not too sure about going from suspension to non-suspension……would it be a good idea to go from suspension to none?

Some of the features are definitely a needed upgrade but it doesn't sound like a Nikola killer.
The Nik is a TRUE workhorse wheel like the MCM5.
Sometimes the stars just line up and you get a classic.
It has symmetrical balance and adjustable pedals. That right there beats the nik. Besides that, nearly the same.
