It's a good commuting device for around town too. 3 years ago, these devices were more in the toy category, but not anymore. If you don't want one, you don't have to get one, but you look silly telling others that they shouldn't, especially since most of the EUC community is 30+

@Mannie Illescas Riding in an extremely dense mixture of different vehicles, animals and pedestrian traffic, on a road which has more potholes and bumps than the surface of the moon? Hiking trails are like smooth asphalt in comparison.
@@vattu420 if the streets are in that bad condition, than a suspension wheel would be perfect for you my friend, it makes rough roads seem like butter, definitely do your own reasearch, as of now there are 3 different suspension wheels. Despite the risk of falling off at 45 MPH, he is wearing super heavy joint pads, plus a moto-jacket for shoulder protections, and moto-bike helmet that has jaw protection. A car can hit you any time regardless of any wheels, but the cheat is going onto sidewalks away from cars, and his control affords him the ability to do so.
This thing is fucking insane, and you have mad skills. I don't even know that it's possible to drive monowheel like this.

I've ridden a thing called Solowheel, one of the first ones probably, back like 10-8 years ago, as much as it was fun it was also miserable, shins always bruised max speed around 20kmh, max range around 30km, it hated going over bumps and even small curbs... It's great to see how far the technology went and how much skilled riders can do with it! That being said, I'm in worse shape then I was back then, so I'm sticking to motorcycles :D

I can see these being very useful, handy and an inexpensive and versatile way to cut through heavy traffic like in Manila or Bangkok, and many other cities with major traffic congestion.
Ordered a V8f last week. Backordered till "late july" watching these videos till it comes. I'm so excited its unreal. Haven't made a purchase with this much excitement since I was a kid.

I was out on a ride on my motorcycle in long beach near el dorado park and saw a club of people riding these, all wearing gear and being respectful and following the rules of the road. I just really liked the one wheel. and they all looked like they were having fun. want to try one some day , 🤘🤘

The things I like most about it,it's fast ,extremely portable,but hands free,so with a trained rider, wich i don't imagine to be that hard if you got a background in balance... imagine what you could be operating with both hands wile having the speed

@@abrahamnutrition I think you'd need air for a back flip and I don't know how this wheel would take the landing for the air needed to do a backflip. But I can definitely see how it could be a sport.
This would make a good upgrade once you start out with a EUC that's cheaper to just get started, after you get through from beginner to intermediate. Once you feel intermediate enough, then I could see myself upgrading to one of these.
But the only drawback for me, which has been good upbrought points in Kuji's past videos, is peddle adjustment due to everyone's specific heights so peddles dont clip the ground when making a turn on a curve, headlights that don't blind other pedestrians at night and suspension.
This is a beast of a product. I would also replace the wheel at some point, but the tire seems to have better tread than earlier models by other companies. And a USB port would be nice, just so someone can add LED lights to the product to make more visible at night.
Cool background with that factory 🏭 cool video overall. A that wheel is a beast at least we know it works in the rain! You control it like no other!

As a OneWheel rider, same, that blew my mind. I think the OneWheel has this thing beat in everything else though except speed and stairs. I'm perfectly happy not going 45mph on anything you stand on top of. But it sure would be nice if OneWheels could manage stairs.

@@ruskeee Honestly its the same deal, I really don't have the time or energy to ride for more than 3 hours, which the onewheel can easily manage at any speed in any terrain. That being said I have come to realize I really want an EUC aswell lol. I dont really think either is better or worse anymore they are just different. Its like snowboarding vs skiing whichever one you have more fun on is better for you.
