Trying to help with getting parts that work for the scooter itself so it's easier for other people.

I did some research on a build for a friend. He wants a rear disk conversion 😮. I told him he would be better off just buying another scoot with the a rear disk brake . Rim, swing arm, caliper with master & rotor. Mod city for a lance 150cc gy6, sometimes u can have to much$$$ in something .Witch I'm guilty of ,more then I like to admit lol. Scoot looks great my friend 💯🛵💪. I'm working on a Mitsubishi 3000gt Vr4 spider hardtop convertible. I work nearly all the time & Im getting to all your awesome 🎬✨️. Your rides speak for themselves 🚘👏👏🔥🔥👍.🫡

I actually wanted to do a disk rear swap too but I'm kind of fine with the drum setup too. Its a fairly simply setup on the scooter. I actually always wanted a vr4 but when I went to look for one I couldnt find a clean one for under 10k lol

@@RspecNick We paid entirely to much for the spider VR4. They only made a little over a thousand was produced & parts are nearly impossible to find for the convertible top . Big mistakes on a hail car with storm damage. Beautiful cars though, Im still waiting to win the lottery & buy a C.8 Zo6, if you could find one lol

@@just4kicks950 I believe that honestly and it would be nice to grab a z06 I like the C6s. I'd go for a Cts-V also.

@@RspecNick I lost my dad from stage 4 lunge cancer 😔 Rip a while back. He loved the C.6 427 Z06 & thats a sweet sounding machine 💯💯🔥🔥. I most likely have plastic's in like new & numerous parts stash with 10 nice shape parts scooters. I can't promise all the tabs will line up . Definitely tabs will need relocated. Let me know what u need to complete ✌️.with Chinese scooters , looking the same doesn't mean it will fit lol.

70mph GPS verified with the 172 kit on stock transmission with 13gram rollers. I wanna gear up I wouldn't mind seeing 80-90mph.

@@RspecNick I have ncy transmission kit and 12 gram sliders yoshimua exhaust pipe 842 gates belt 30mm hoca cvk carb with stock jets and u I air filter but I know my carburetor is probably not tuned right … I want to hit 60-65 on 150cc but what should I do I’m about 180 pounds and the bike is pretty heavy too

@@2FrEsH4ya617 your still a 150cc with a 30mm carb? That's pretty big for a stock 150 usually 26mm is the recommended carb for a 150. I'd honestly drop the 12gram sliders and run 10.5/11 grams and see if it helps I know if you run the 835-20-30 belt that will help with acceleration alittle.

@@RspecNick I use to have the same setup with 10g rollers I never did my top speed though that was about 4 years ago … should I put those back in or should I just get a new set of sliders 10.5-11

@@2FrEsH4ya617 I'd test a few out I just went out again and tested my top end and the speedo says 73 but actual GPS tags me at 70 but that's really dragging it out for me. If it wasn't windy I bet it would probably top out at like 74/75mph. Maybe even if it dropped in 14g weights. I plan doing a gear up kit tho just to eliminate having to do that so I can consistently hit those numbers without worrying about bouncing off 9000rpm
