- Vic from Base Leg Aviation discusses flight training in Florida with Alex Anduze. Then Vic talks about first flights in helicopters vs airplanes. Finally, he tells us he made 2 first flights today.
Alex Anduze flies the original version of a Hummingbird a Sikorsky HO5S-1. It was tasked as an air rescue helicopter and if you notice in one of the the pictures, the passenger windshield opens so a stretcher could be placed in the helicopter. Alex flew the Sikorsky HO5S-1 in the recent movie "Devotion".

The wind was quite gusty (over 17). It was down the runway, but that's why I quit after 2. :)
