I don’t think so. We are quick to accuse without the facts. The father’s behavior was so bizarre during the news conference and he lied when someone asked him if he knows his daughters whereabout but he hesitated and his lawyer whispered and prompted him to say no. His face shows that he lied then his sister quick to accuse the ex-wife. He brain washed his daughter to run away and hid her because how can Alison cycle from MP to Glendale without a phone or GPS. I’m very familiar with the area as my husband cycle to Glendale on numerous occasions and still use GPS. The father hid the daughter at a friends house and gave her a burner phone. What he did is unbelievable causing mayhem and chaos among our community worrying that alison got kidnap. Sorry but you can’t bribe MP police dept. If what the mother did was wrong, why didn’t the father take Alison to the police department and file a police report of abused.

I had friends with divorced parents, one week the teen wants to live with the dad, then he says no to something and grounds them, then they stat crying they want to live with mom. They are going through a divorce which means she has temporary custody. Believe it or not judges will listen to what the teenager ahs to say in the final divorce and custody proceedings. That STUPID judge ignored the girl's stated wish to be with her father (a Marine veteran), assumed "motherly love" was needed, and assigned custody to the mother. That strict Asian mother was going to put Alison in a mental ward, that's why she went missing. Also the news failed to mention that Alison walked into ABC News station in Glendale, to make a statement, and that's how she was "found". Now police has arrested the father for "abduction", when in reality the girl run away from her mother, and sought protection from her father. It's like a soap opera. And both the judges and police have made everything worse. Both father and daughter are suffering, and will be confined.
