I can remember diving of the 10 meter for the very first time, my legs shaking with fear. Because it was so high up, I went with the Swan dive, as you have to dive out, which gives you more stability in the air, mates thought it was a great dive...

When I was a kid, we would swim at a local community swimming pool that had an Olympic height diving platform.
When I was about 9, I finally got the nerve to climb up to the highest platform and look over the edge. The pool looked so small at that height.
It totally freaked me out and I climbed down the steps in warp speed.

The highest I've ever dived from was 8m and it definitely was pretty frightening. But that's part of the fun!
I love watching platform diving, but I don't think I'd have the nerve, especially now. Maybe in my younger years!?

I did around a 8m jump into the ocean and when I hit the water my ear was so painful. Does anyone know what causes this? Is it the pressure from going deep? I’ve jumped much higher before and have never had this issue. Is there something I can do to prevent it happening again? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Have a great day all!

The sudden change in pressure in your ears is what causes the pain
Pinch your nose and blow really hard threw your nose while it's pinched so your ears pop kind of an it instantly relieves all of the pressure
Salt water is more dense than normal water so you get more pressure on your ears even if yu dont go as deep as when you jump from higher
that's so unfair why did the girls win when the boys had more points and better jumps

As an identical twin I was totally team twins!
But I think they deserved to win anyhow, especially the one go after her sister smacked out.
But the boys saw them smack too so they were just as scared this doesn't make sence if anyone deserved the win it is the boys
id have no issue launching my body off any ledge but the landing finna mess with me especially in that water falling deeper n deeper would be wild
The camera angle makes it look higher! It’s only 33’ and it’s less than 3 seconds until you’re in the water! I’m kinda scared of heights and I’d take the leap… provided there’s a financial incentive to do it!!
I jumped twice as a cannonball from a 10m platform last week. It has been on my bucket list for a long time and I now have a huge bruise on my left thigh but I regret nothing!

I didn't fully open from a pike off the 3 meter and did a thigh flop. Man o man did that ever hurt. I can only imagine how painful that would be from the higher levels! Love this channel!
I landed on my stomach from 5 meter when I was about 8 years old. That hurt!

I remember as a kid jumping off the top of a bridge into water at the local swim spot, it was at LEAST 20 meters. First time was too scared to jump but wind made me choose between falling onto the bridge or into the water.. after that it was easy and was ALWAYS jumping off... odd thing is I am willing to bet money in a pool with 20 meter dive I bet I would be as scared as that first time.. weird I know I can do it but just the different setting and fear all over again.
You would get scared just because you’re a rational person and realize what risk you take when jumping from such heights🤷🏻♂️

Boys at least went till the 10m Ramp girls didn't even go there boys scored well in the 7m Ramp - girls didn't score so well- but still girls won!!! Very unfair world!!! where is the equality ?????

I still think the boys win, they had the best jumps and only 1 resisted while the other didn't. The both didnt resist till the last one which was 3 metres higher than the others. Christina took longer to jump in after resisting. And well they didn't even so this is a boys win

The men had more points. Also rule changes for the sake of the girls. I think the men should have won but I do understand why they handed it off to the girls. Regardless a lot of respect for jumping not many can do it.
If you ever been to the 5th or 5+ floor, you'll appreciate just how daunting it goddamn is... I couldn't' imagine myself jumping from 10m holyyyy.

As a young teenager I jumped from a 10 mtr board without any training , I got to the top and wanted to change my mind but I was embarrassed to, so I jumped , I landed on my backside with my legs out and the pain was sooooooo bad , I honestly thought I had ripped my legs open , I expected blood ,I have and will never do that again , literally the stupidest thing I ever did . (If only we had CZcams then lol )

I think that the tick to jumping form that height may be to look forwards, not down. I'd definitely love to try it.

When the girls leaned backward during their jump, it was as though they had left part of themselves behind on the platform. This tells me that when I do this, I must jump with all of myself, really commit and be present with all of me, vertically, in the air with the water pulling me toward it.

I don't know about the others but in germany we jumped off the 7,5 meters and some even from the 10 meters as kids and even now just for fun every time we were in the swimming pool it's nothing special for us
The boys won because they has more points and dived from the same hight as the Girls.
And if they have brouses It doesn't make them better It only says the dont know how to do It well
Had to do CWST training in the army and they pull down a fleece over your face for the last exercise and shove you off from the 6 meter height.
We used to jump from a bridge that was 150ft above the water. When in doubt, CANNONBALL!!!!

I went up got scared when on the diving platform tried to go back the life guard made me jump then I wanted to do it again no chance I was band from the platform for 6 months to never return .now you got to have a life guard there and you have to have training before your allowed on the platform in the UK

I was cliff jumping 12m. Its seeing the bottom what makes it a problem, gives extra height. Nothing painful. Clean dive in feet first like in video. Jumped 4 more times after that 🥴

Practice the arms up type of pencil in from 5m and 7m. then 10m won't be so bad.
