"These are no Porsches" Yeah, if they'd been racing old Porsche tractors, it'd be scary, as those are open, no cab. :P
To be fair it seems that the tractors here have reinforced cabs compared to standard ones, so they would probably add that to the Porsche as well :)
Standard gearbox 9 speeds and two ranges of tortoise and rabbit. A total of 18 forward and 4 reverse gears. Very tough tractors.
we also do speed ploughing where we just plough as fast as possible. and people do have tuned modified tractors that are crazy

Back in the day, we had In the Netherlands backwards driving races with cars, but primarily with DAF cars, because they could drive as fast backwards as forward, thanks to the variomatic system and we had also caravan race!

Since the invention of the wheel, I'm sure someone said "challenge accepted , watch me". I mean look at the Wright brothers, look at airplanes, and we've had those only for 150 years.
At 10 minutes I liked the white skoda scout suv sitting in the midfield, definitely my favourite skoda model to date.
Most of these Tractors seem to be either Belarus MTZ 80 or 82 Tractor Models
Belarus MTZ Tractors were pretty popular in the Soviet Union and still are in post-soviet countries like Russia, Ukraine and Estonia for example

This i have never seen, great. I do know of tractor pulling where they pull a trailer with a shifting weight on it that gets heavier as they go further, they have some serious tuned up tractors like they proper dragsters.

Porsche, as well as Lamborghini, have built tractors.
Lamborghini still does.
It rather looks like they used international country flags to seperate the tracktors from each others. All the drivers are with fully ethnic russian names. And as Russia is an isolated land anyways, I dont see any international racing events taking place there. Still interesting thing to organize for entertainment

@@norbertschrank3331 They still do. However the tractor manufacturing is a different company than the supercar company now.
There's also a Ferrari manufacturer of small farm equipment but totally unrelated to the supercar company founder, just the founders both having the Ferrari family name.
These are all MTZ or Belarus tractors. Although they are called Belarus they are Russian its just a name.
And it's pretty Much the same tractor But different generation Models.
Old ones with round narrow cab start From 50Hp and Most of them are 75 and 80Hp.
Typical Speed for them is 30Km/h, but There were Versions for transport that Had a 40-45Km/h transmission.
Engines are Not Turbo From the Factory. Old Tractors have no Turbo version and New ones have a 100Hp same engine version.
So they are tuned here.
100Hp is also a slightly larger, longer tractor.
Wheels on a tractor naturally are adjustable so that's just their setup.

Yeah I gather prior to the INTERNET there may have been (rarely visible in actions or words tho) an undercurrent of American resentment (no don’t have facts - just a good guess) that existed back then (fed by the media possibly? … the Printed Media … like the papers?).
The Internet has changed that (I believe) by showing Americans from all kinds of backgrounds to be just Americans & nothing more … sorry bout that btw.
There are probably anomalies that exist re this I imagine (anomalies I’d say, that also exist in every other country round the world) but on the whole Americans seem to be just like us.

I really don't get the flags when the drivers and names are obviously Russian. Maybe they use them like numbers in racing

@@automation7295 The names are Russian sounding themselves maybe Belarussian too. Most of the names end with -ob which is -ov in latin and -nh which is -in both typically Russian ends of names. One name is Mayorov :D
