- The Safe by UGEARS is an assembly kit that can be assembled without any glue or metal parts. I gave it a try and was amazed by the design. Even the 3 digit combination lock worked as intended!

Did you already try a wooden assembly kit yourself? What is your favorite model?

Mr.Puzzle HI 👋 LOVE UR VIDEOS !!
Thanks CZAXA
You have to have an IQ over 150!
Love your vids, and i actually have the exact same kit as well.
THANK YOU so very much for posting UGEARS content! I have been considering getting one of their models, and have been unsure on if it would be worth getting at the prices they are at. Seeing someone reviewing/building one of the models REALLY helps!
And then the thief just walks off with the whole safe.
🤣😅
I think I could crack it with a hammer faster than mr puzzle with the combo gr8 vid as usual dude I might buy this for my bro's birthday lol give him four hours work for his birthday sounds great :)
This is an awesome kit/puzzle. The quality of the laser cut parts are very impressive. The wood looks like the “light plywood” they use for R/C airplane kits. It’s very nice to work with, and it’s very sturdy. You did a great job assembling it. That’s definitely worth having just for it’s coolness factor and as a conversation piece. It just begs to be looked at!
curb stomp
An he steals your hammer to open it. The Ultimate insault.
Your enthusiasm is infectious.
Danielle Anderson do you think he is enthusiastic? Try seeing TheMaoiSha channel is a Spanish guy who collect rubik cubes of all kinds. I love him
I don't think there is any reason to try to improve on perfection. Love this video and this channel!
love the half commentairy half timelapse style here
keep it up
Glad to hear that! Thanks! 😊
Not just a puzzle, and not just a safe either, but actually a beautifully constructed piece of art as well, in my opinion. There must have been quite a lot of work put into the designing of this safe, the outside is very aesthetically pleasing and there is quite a lot of storage space on the inside as well, all the parts look as if they fit together very nicely and move smoothly. Of course it shouldn't be used for actual security, as it is quite easily broken apart, but it looks amazing and is a very nice novelty item. It would be perfect for storing little things on your desk or something, for anyone who loves puzzles. Thanks for the great video Mr. Puzzle, really love this one.
One kind of puzzle that I like is a kind of puzzle like this. Compile a complex machine-shaped puzzle. Challenge, sharpen the brain, and give satisfaction when the puzzle is perfectly arranged :)
I recommend always having one in construction and work on it here and there. I do.
I wouldn’t be surprised if someone tried to make this out of metal
Now THIS is the type of puzzle box I LOVE. Beautifully crafted, ingeniously imagined, whimsical and reminiscent of ancient times. I want one sooo badly. They're just so gorgeous and fun.
This is one of few '6 to be exact' channels that I truly look forward too. Love MR PUZZLE.
PEACE...
Thanks a lot!
what other channels?
Wow. Imagine the work behind the making of this puzzle... Incredible! Great channel btw!
Thanks! 😁😂
This manufacturer sure makes the neatest looking puzzles! :D
I agree!
Absolutely nailed it. Love the puzzle boxes and unique puzzles
i was wondering if he glued in the parts, but nails are out of the question i think
Epic! That build was really amazing! The best part was how apprehensive you were when you locked the door! How satisfying it was when it worked in the end! Great video!
More puzzles like this, please. :)
What an awesome kit! I dig the music for this episode too
This is so amazing!,, great product. Thank you for investing so much time to make this video.
wow just as awesome as the card holder mechanism..!!..Thx Mr Puzzle!
Really well done. I totally want one now
It looks SO beautiful! 😍❤️
This was so great to watch, these things are fantastic!
I remember how in the USA, years ago the Dollar Tree used to have much simpler wooden models that I loved putting together. Planes, trains, automobiles, and lots of dinosaurs. This would have my head HURTING! Super cool
Absolutely love these videos. You're so passionate and engaging to watch, and of course always with some fun and unique things to discuss. Even the videos on more common puzzles you cover are very helpful, since many people will probably have them and can try along. Love the UGEARS kits as well; they're so interesting and well-made. It's nice because they're functional in some way, which makes them more than just models, and the principles of putting together (or taking apart) pieces definitely also applies to many other puzzles and trick boxes, too.
Absolutely!
This was bigger than I anticipated it would be.
I like these videos a lot. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks!
Just have to say that's an amazing show piece just to have on display
First time I can remember hearing you swear! (8:12) So you ARE human :)
David Cameron lol I was thinking the same thing
You should watch the 2017 episode including the takeouts. 😂
Hahah I was thinking the same thing! This gentle guy who always plays with puzzles, dropped the F bomb. :)
Are you serious? Is he human? I thought he was God..?
How funny would it be if he was How to basic.
Absolutely adore this kind of puzzle, wood lego/kinex!
I absolutely loved this video Mr. Puzzle. That safe and the idea of making it has really wetted my appetite. I'll definitely be saving up to buy one of these. An excellent video!
Always a fan of your great puzzle videos. I just purchased my first UGEARS puzzle, the Treasure Box, looking forward to putting it together and working the mechanism!
Cool, I also have it here. Still in the box.
Be sure and tune in next week and watch Mr Puzzle assemble a complicated Swiss watch. A perpetual calendar from Patek Philippe. ;-)
Nice video today. It’s amazing what they are doing with laser cut wood!
😂😂
You involved with watchmaking, or just like watches?
I believe Patek Philippe now has a watchmaking school in New York near where I live.
Riften Guard - I love watchs, years ago I bought & sold many of them. And also had a personal interest in them. Still have a nice collection. I don’t have the ability to be a watchmaker. I admire those who do, it’s a amazing trade.
Best
Looks a lot of fun to put together. I would love having made that and having it on display also i would use it for sure.
Exceptionally challenging, this will make a great Christmas gift
Mr.Puzzle makes sick beats!
Well done Mr.Puzzle. That looked hard work but worth it to build a very nice item.
Indeed!
We made these in class and it was so much fun! :D
Beautiful product
Awesome safe puzzle and the music was great
Crazy puzzle, and safe build. I really like it!!
😊
That is amazing! Thanks so much for the video 😊
Looks awesome
I bought and built one of these. Really enjoyed it and it actually works!
Beautiful
Wow, this is an amazing build! Well done, and I hope it gets a premium place in your home :)
For sure! 😄
Love the vids, great de-stressers
Fantastic!
This is SO cool.
This looks pretty cool. I'm thinking about getting it for my dad 🙂
I had this sitting in my closet for over a year until I got the time I thought it would take to assemble. Only tool I used was an Xacto knife to clean up some of the separation flashing. Setting the combination was confusing so I set aside about 99% complete and with the door propped open. Everything works properly but I am not sure of the combination so will not close the door. A lot of fun to put together and looks cool as hell. It holds my collection of cast/machined silver bullets.
You are a great guy man!
the way you explain is awesome.
that's why I watch your videos regularly!
thanks for making such good quality videos !
keep working....
Thoroughly enjoy your channel!
Enjoy!
the vault is a nice build
I'd like to see a French-style key operated safe. These generally had multiple locks on them, one of them being used to operate the bolt and the rest for setting the combination.
Would love an Antikythera version of this!
you really do great work.. may you live well
Nice video. Love this channel
You're awesome bro!!
Great video
I have two of these things as well. The box from your other video as well as the treasure box which in my opinion just looks gorgeous. It was a lot of fun but also challenging to assemble due to the amount of gears in it. I am actually considering getting another one because they are just so much fun to assemble and it's so satisfying after you are finished
Pretty cool
awesome video!
woww that is really really cool!!!
Cool and detaild safe. Nice video Mr Puzzle. 👍
Thanks Drzingo 😊
Nice editing.Love the music choice.
That. Is. So. Cool
This is so cool
this is my new favorite satisfying video. very amazing!
8:13...”Or if I made a mistake, then I’m really fucked up here.” Love you and your videos Mr. Puzzle!!!!!!
🤗 Thanks!
Ur awesome as always dude👌...and the music is magnificent 😍.
Glad you like it! Thanks!
I love this kind of thing. I'd love to own a complex puzzle box in this style, just don't seem to find them anywhere
Very impressive, Mr. Puzzle. I like the 'safe' and the video. I would, however, liked to have seen the digits as you went through the combination.
Wow, ich bin schwer begeistert!
I always like to watch hardworking CZcamsrs like you trying their best to entertain their audience. I liked every part of the video. Keep on doing what you do❤️
For the hard work 😓 you put into this puzzle you deserve all the likes in the world 😊🤗 love your vids 😁
Cool video, I always enjoy your puzzles and assemble kits, I enjoyed the song too, for the first 3-4 min then it turned on me. I was hoping you would change the song lol but that’s just me.
Hehe, OK. I think I just love the song too much. Might be my future assembly song. Hope you will watch anyway. 😋
Great job! That must've took a lot of patience to build. I don't understand how you don't have a million subs yet. It won't be long until you do though.
I’m almost done with the Hurdy gurdy. I had to use pliers, but they provide extras of the small parts. You can also sand the connections to make them easy to fit together. I too made the mistake of not paying attention to the instructions and had to go back a lot of steps. I know it’s just a toy, but it does play, and the satisfying part is the strange beauty of the plywood and the way the gears work. I forgot how much fun it is to work with my hands.
I have the train from U Gears, which can actually run, if you wind up the rubber bands enough. I have had it for over a year and I am too scared to put enough tension on the rubber bands to make it go! It is still a beautiful machine, it stays on my coffee table, and I always show off all the moving parts and doors and stuff. It took me probably 8 hours to build (over several days). My only complaint is that I also bought extra track, which they sell as an additional set, but it only has straight track, no turns! If I could lay out a circle or any kind of loop, I might have wanted to see it move enough to get over my fear of tensioning the rubber bands. But as it is, I still do not regret the purchase, and building it was enough fun to make it worth the purchase.
I have the train also on my list!
Very satisfying after building it and it works very nice
Yes, and very stressful when you close finishing it while having no idea if it will work. 😁😂
Very fitting music
not exactly puzzles, but I would love to see you tackle one of their more complex models like the gm truck or locomotive. In the future, I highly recommend a small hammer with the head covered in cloth/ a rubber mallet because some structural pieces are very very tight. If you can, I also highly recommend a nail file set to grind down some of the nubs or to make certain pieces a little more loose, as well as something like sturdy tweezers to help push out some really small pieces. all of these extra tools saved my fingers from being rubbed to the bone
Slick editing with the music buildup into transition to time lapse. We notice!
😃👍👌
Yea my grand daughter had one that I finished and it worked good I also did a Gear safe from wood trick which was a good build and it is working well
They also make a puzzle box with a secret compartment inside and and a horse that gallops😁. The puzzle box would be cool to see
I just built the UGears Treasure Box. It is a mechanical puzzle box. It is amazing!
One of the sickest most awesome things ive ever seen... In a generation where it sometimes feels like we are going backwards due to things like dumbening down of our society via Facebook and Memes... you give one hope, along with the designer of such intricate designs such as these. This is a masterpiece work of art and if I were to hand build a one of these I would show it to everyone who came round to my house, its honestly amazing.
You are definitely one of those people this thing is made for. Try it!
The treasure box is even sicker.
This comment speaks my mind exactly. Great design and great video too!
Very cool" reminded of when i had tennics i ust to make sum cool veicals. But that looks 10times harder. :'(
Ohh! I'd like to see the treasure box :)
Oh another. I highly recommend. I always have one in the middle of assembly to turn to whenever. Defiantly razor pieces out and sand all edges. Just to make perfect. 😁
i actually have 4 of them XD im a huge fan of ugears :3 and the one you got is the one i want XD
that's dedication.
That thing is so cool. I want one. Well of course it would be fun I’m a truck driver. And need something to do once and a while. I should look into it.
You also should look into brainteasers.
Awesome
NEXT GREAT VIDEO!! Ur the BEST AT THIS :)
CZAXA I KIFLICH TRUST
CZAXA I KIFLICH hello
CZAXA I KIFLICH IKR
CZAXA I KIFLICH I THINK U WHERE FIRST kk
piece of advice here, when using rubber bands put petroleum jelly on them to prevent dry rot. it will make your safe last longer.
It's cool
8:11 did he say "I really fucked up here?"
😂
🤐
Sehr cooles Video! Nur eine kleine Anmerkung, die Musik im ersten Zeitraffer war ein wenig zu laut. Trotzdem sehr gutes Video!
Nintendo Labo looks cooler than I thought it would.
Amazing! I'd almost forgotten the other UGears vid, but this one I'll definitely not forget.
First Hanayama, now UGears.. Mr Puzzle will surely bankrupt me before long. ;)
Great editing too, btw. Although I did keep wondering when that music was going to get past the intro and actually *start*..
Also; "sounds a little bit vintage here" is such a cool phrase. Lol. Is that a translated German idiom? Certainly not a phrase I'd heard before (but will be using in the future).
You should send it to the lockpickinglawyer ! He picks every lock you imagine
Dude, what if you live streamed one of these building kits? You know what would honestly be amazing... watching you solve a puzzle for the first time, in real time. Live. Yo, just think about it, k?
Thanks for the proposal. :)
