Aruna Quadri has improved his backhand significantly, his forehand was already leathal. Well played against the G.O.A.T. There's no shame in losing to him.

What does "loosing" mean. I checked it in the dictionary and nothing came up. I think you mean, "losing." Yes, that's it. I first thought you meant he's loose or something.

@@franksmith541I’m surprised you can’t find it in the dictionary. It’s actually a word. It may not be the right word to use in this situation but it is a word.
Example: Loosing an arrow or loosing the hounds etc

The term rivalry implies that both players have won … if it’s one sided for one player it’s hardly a rivalry.

As a fan of both players and of good table tennis, I find the title both misleading and mischievous as it would only result in getting insulting comments towards Aruna. Perhaps u need to check up the meaning of rivalry, in sports.

Not to insult Aruna, but he will never be a rival for the Chinese. Few non-Chinese players will ever be considered “rivals”, and he definitely is far from a rival.
He’s never gotten more than 1 game in a match against Ma Long, Fan Zhendong, or Xu Xin, and the only main Chinese player he’s beaten was Liang Jingkun in 2021, who wasn’t very reliable at the time. A win is a win, but it was against a lower tier Chinese opponent, and is nowhere near as impressive as beating any of the big 3.
He will definitely do well as he’s very powerful, but his weak backhand and very predictable game will never let him truly rival the Chinese dominance.

@@ofonmbukekpenyong549 the point is that the title is clickbait and untrue in every way. I’m a fan of Aruna. He’s a fun player to watch, and his forehand power is incredible. But to call him a rival of Ma Long is a joke, and it feels like a cheap way to get views on a video by unrealistically hyping up the match. (It was a good match, but again the title was an overstatement)
      Edit: spelling
