I Was Going To Spend Above My Plant Paygrade For Plants I Wanted...I Decided To Get A Painted Lady!!! I COULDN'T Do IT... I Could NOT Pay $60 And Up To Get A Potted Painted Lady... I Purchased 2 Large-Leafed Cuttings. Those 2 Cuttings Are NOW Growing Nicely In 2 6 Inch Pots!!! I HOPE You Find Some Pleasing Plant Presents To Give To Yourself TOO!!! IT Was Nice To See The Faces Of YOU And Your PLANTS Today!!! 💚💚💚

Beautiful plants, they look good and healthy
If you use compost or maybe even mulch.. organic potting soil , alocasia corms sneak in a lot and you get volunteer plants 😂
The fern reminds me of my mom :) I wasn’t really a fan of the wall of ferns we had along our wall, but they make me think of her now when I see them.

I wish we could show pictures on here. I made a large bamboo trellis that grows to ceiling. The leaves are Huge and almost black. I have a humidifier in my plant room and does so well. I dig the more oval pot idea. I am going to take that idea and use it myself. Thank you for that idea!!
Relate with those waves!!! I have no more space and not the best windows but that's not stopping me from spending lol. I need help.. and I started getting into orchids and I wanna buy every orchid I see in the store with flower colors I don't own yet.... and as we know, orchid flowers, their are a lot of species and colors; my wallets not ready for it. I'm so excited for spring 2022!!
I totally love the Hoya Compacta aswell i only have mine a year cannot wait to become more full and trailing. I am not really a fan of Hoya’s blooming so I don’t mind if my Hoya’s don’t bloom. Some of time the scent can be too much. I love Orchids and just hope they bloom back if not i be disappointed. Is sad the blooms doesn’t stay. I would love to see all your plant collection one day.

You need not worry about the lack of variegation on your newest Albo leaf. In fact the greener it is means the healthier your plant will be. I bet you that newer leaves will have better variegation. Variegation on Albos are pretty random. So do not worry. Thai Constellations have much more stable variegation.

Omg.. I have a black velvet alocasia. I got it with 2 leaves and it’s out out 4 new leaves so far… which leaves me with a total of TWO leaves. Yes, every time one new leaf comes out, the oldest one dies. Idk how to stop that from happening and it’s so frustrating.
Ughh that happens to my Alocasia frydek too! One time it suddenly got super healthy & grew like 3 leaves without other leaves dying but now it only has 2 leaves like your black velvet. Maybe they just don’t have their “perfect” conditions
@@ErikaLodes someone told me they need more light but they already sit by the window and knowing they supposedly don’t require high amounts of light, I don’t see how that could be it. Well… good luck to us both! 😁
I've heard they like to be really heavily fed to keep the older leaves but haven't had any experience myself yet haha
