  • Besides importing your conversions from Google Analytics, advertisers can choose to track conversions with the Google Ads Conversion Tracking Tag. This video will go over the three options you have to set up the Conversion Tracking Tag. We'll spend most time on the Google Tag Manager set up since that should be the easiest option for you. Last, we'll cover what each of the Tracking Status column options mean in Google Ads.

    Please, I need help setting up Google Ads conversions correctly.
    If I have 3 search campaigns in a Google Ads account, for example; Shoe Sale, Ebike Sale and Smartwatch Sale and then I create the 3 conversions; Purchase Shoes, Purchase Ebike and Purchase Smartwatch I will be forced to assign as conversion action for all campaigns, the entire Purchase category within which all 3 conversions are present.
    Therefore, I will not be able to assign the Purchase Shoes conversion to the Shoe Sale campaign, the Ebike Purchase conversion to the Ebike Sale campaign and the Smartwatch Purchase conversion to the Smartwatch Sale campaign.
    But is this correct? How will Google then optimize the campaigns? Users who buy ebikes are different from those who buy shoes and so on. Please, in these cases what is the best practice? Thank you very much.

      Have you tried running a Call Only campaign? czcams.com/video/SdqyirPBDsQ/video.html. Keep call recording on so then you can assess the quality.
