One question, when importing conversions from GA4 into Ads, this option from the above is not possible. How is it possible that you get the Ads Label from that?

Do you have a video showing how to configure GA4 conversion tracking for email sign ups? I'm having a hard time because the sign up form is two form_submit events. 1st event goes to a Captcha challenge page, 2nd event goes back to the page they were on.

Your videos have been very helpful, thank you - but I'm a bit confused: In the e-commerce tracking video linked in your description, it does not show the set-up of variables like "Ecommerce Value." I've successfully set up the e-commerce tag and trigger, but there are no e-commerce specific variables (i.e. such as Value). I do have a GA4 Event Name variable pulling in e-commerce event_name. Would this suffice under the "Conversion Value" "Transaction ID" and "Currency" fields. Thank you again for your videos!

Conversion tracking - lead gen
I track my signups as secondary conversions, while primary conversions are categorized as qualified and converted leads. For instance, out of a total of 10 leads, 5 are qualified. Among these 5 qualified leads, 3 eventually make a payment or convert. I maintain two separate offline conversion action sheets: one for qualified leads and the other for converted leads. Is this the right approach, or should I focus solely on tracking qualified leads as the primary conversion metric?

I am a little confuse, because of this situation...Imagine I have implemented all the the events via DL and push them to GA4?
1 - If we do the process of creating conversions in GAds aren't we duplicating events in GTM?
2 - Can't we use the imported events to set up GAds tracking tag? I'm asking because I don't see that option.

Great video. Here is my question, When setting up the trigger, you created a custom event {which fires when all custom events happens} How then will Tag manager know that a particular custom event is indded a purchase? I thought in order to set a trigger for purchase it had to be a pageview event on the URL of the "thank you page" or similar page.

I'm wondering the exact same thing and you are correct about the trigger normally being a pageview event (in ecommerce this would typically the thank you page URL). In any event, there has to more to it than just the name of a custom event, doesn't there? He did specify that 'purchase' was to be lower case and I'm wondering why that would be. But a great vid nonetheless :)
I now have 3 different ways to track conversions (tag on thank you page, GA4 and the purchase tracking through ads/GTM like explained in this video), and they all underreport. The thank you page tag performs best but far from everything. Any way to fix this?

What if I wanted to track the events of a booking engine for a room reservation? How should I go about this?

Create purchase only or refinance only landing page and ads. ( separately)

Yes, you can create a Google Ads Conversion Tracking tag in a server-side container. However, you will still need a client receive the information and process it in the server-side container (see developers.google.com/tag-platform/tag-manager/server-side/intro).

Good question, I have installed the custom value explained in "Ecommerce Tracking video" but in GTM there is no User-Defined Variables...

@@LovesData You're amazing. Actually, I am using an on my site to allow users to choose products, enter information, book a time and thereafter purchase. The website which offers this allows for Google Tag Manager but I am not able to see 'purchase' as a datalayer when identifying the source code after a purchase.

For anyone that is looking for an answer - it turns out after scanning the web page a little pop up comes up and you have to click the text to the right (something about using Ads for conversion tracking). This happens when you have GA4 connected.
It sounds like you might have created the conversion in Google Ads, but used Google Analytics for the tracking. Is that correct? If so, then you probably saw an alert that said 'Google Analytics will measure conversions...' with the option to 'Use Google Ads only'.
